I held the cart so that the top of my thumb was pretty much half way up the cart, and just waved my torch all around the top half until it felt warm.
I didn't feel the concentrate drop down the cart, but it definitely got the vapor flowing again.
In thinking a bit on this topic ('didn't feel the concentrate drop down') it occurs to me there's a couple of factors in play. First, it's not a huge effect you have to note that the case is slowly going up in temperature after you shift the heat to the top of the cart then suddenly picks up that rate of rise, it doesn't suddenly get a lot hotter. And the puff of trapped vapor at the same time is also a clue. Secondly, in a remelt situation like above there might not be much material (therefore heat) involved.
Some concentrates seem to 'stick to the walls' more than others. A favorite CO2 wax of mine seems to have close to 250 mg still left when it stops feeding well. I just add another gram (or a bit less) and keep going rather than fight it.
