Guys the new vaporizer will be called the 8 Oil and Herbal Vaporizer. We know the mechanical version of the persei was called the 8 but that model is since out of production and wont return.

These are still mock ups and will be finished within 2 months tops. Current benders will work on it and future designs like the Duction H20 and Vection H20 will also be made for this platform.

OMFG !!! HERCULES - ALPHA CENTAURI - BENDER .... All these tools on a new Temp Control Mod with Dual 18650 Batteries ..... It must be a dream ...... I was concerned it couldn't bend. THANK GOD!!

Current benders are able to use this form, another version which when coupled with the bubbler will make the Duction H20 version.

I can't wait to try a new way of bending in the future, but to be able to hand my current bender to my friends without fear of them combusting the load is great news as well.

Nice, just ordered 10 dual coils. I keep wondering if I should try to get some 18650's cheap now before the new unnamed tc box comes out. I'll need at least 4, backups are too handy. I'm guessing I'll be getting the double version to run the herc.

I agree on the hot hits, I wouldn't use them at 7.4. Pretty strong at 3.7 though which is nice for a dual coil.

One complaint though, THE NAME! Having a one character name makes it virtually impossible to search for on this forum or the internet in general. Plus the added confusion of naming after a different product that might be out of production, but still very much in use.

Idk, just seems like headaches that could be avoided from the outset. Don't take this the wrong way, I can't wait to get one in my hands!

Bought my Persei over a year ago, but never used it much. I have be making my own QWEET and QUISO. I never could make the original carts to work right, so I bought a couple of Kiss carts. These at least worked with what I have, but I almost immediately ruined one trying to clean it, so I gave up. I also didn't really like the idea of the wire for various reasons.
Then I got the Hercules SR-74. This design is much more reliable and actually works with my homemade oil. I like the ceramic rod and replaceable "donuts".
I understand this unit will also vape herb, but I can not find any information on how to do this. Does it need to be ground? Where does it go? How long to press the button? Is the Bender required to accomplish this?

Vaping herb in the herc is pretty tough I usually ended up combusting by accident but I only have the 7.4v rod I think it would be easier with the 3.7

I dont have a bender, but its supposed to be the shit for herbs. My solution was to stop smoking/vaping herb, and i cant even remember the last time i used my volcano. Theres something to be said if you half and half herb and oil, but still have to clean that, and ultimately, not as rewarding as just loading oil and goin.

No worries, I own several herb vapes that do the job well. The bender has the reputation for giving superb flavor, so maybe I will add that in the future. I know with the Persei and SR-74, I have one of the best oil vapes available. Recently added the hammer top, makes operation much easier with the locking button.

Man the bender is worth every penny I was extremely sceptical that the taste would be much of an improvement but I've never tasted anything better it makes me so happy we've moved past the shitty tasting dirt weed I used to get as a teenager
