no that advantage is running a .8 ohm rod with 30 watts will help with battery life as in not over taxing it all the time vs running a 1.5 ohm at at 30 watts.


Currently the device is set up to run a single 18650 battery High drain AW 2200 mah or something similar.

But their is a small advantage of having a black Rod.

My apologies for any accidental inference that a different rod might be required in the future. All I meant to convey to @Melting Pot is that we've had a sub ohm rod available for the Hercules already, in case this helps today.

i like the Herc setup enough to have set up quite a few for friends and family, but I have had enough, the runaround with the ticket system and warranty issues, I'm done.

I didn't think that asking when i bought this V3R persei from them would be a problem.

Not sure whats going on but cant help you if you dont tell me your ticket number.

Im not sure what else to do other then try to solve the issue.

We responded to your ticket on Sept 1st.

September 16th we closed ticket for no response.

I will gladly post the ticket here for you to see and everyone to verify if you wish.

You have not responded to our last question on September 1st and that is why its closed.

Now the issue could be spam folder junk folder or a fubar on delivering the email to you from a computer, that is why if you pm me or sam after not getting a response we will jump right on it.

You need to give us the order numbers, its right there in your account history. We dont know where you purchased it. Our ticket system is not connected to our customer database. Its a standard practice to ask for order number.

You want me and sam to remember everyones names and order numbers?

Yes you do.

Because it saves us a lot of time in pin pointing your order instead of spending time going through it.

Now the reason we do is, some times people send tickets with emails that have nothing to do with the emails used in the orders, they also use false names. So instead of asking you over and over and over "is this your order?" we ask you whats the order number for the persei.

Simple fix. We cant help you if you are not willing to answer questions.

back to the run around. Every time i try to access any account history, I need to reset the password. the system is fucked. that is why i finally opened a ticket to ask when I bought it from you.

that is because PCI DSS compliance. Every 3 months passwords need to change. If your doing that every day then there is an issue.

As for your ticket, you have many orders, 3-4 persei orders if im not mistaken. That is why we need to make sure which order it is that your sending in repair service for. We have to document everything.

the newest one is the only V3R head i have. all the older orders are V2 heads




a mod may as well delete this string of posts. My bitching about customer service doesn't really belong in a product thread. I should have been mature enough to message G or Sam directly.

How does this compare to the original setup for the 3.7 herc, shorter warm up time or?

Judging by the design we've been shown thus far having a corded pass through would come right by the mouthpiece and make it hard to hit but who knows @THC SCIENTIFIC is full of surprises and may have a way after all

I apologize if my earlier response wasn't clear what I mean is that because the battery is loaded from the top into the door to the left of the herc a pass through would come right by the herc mouthpiece out of the top of the unit

Yeah this is exactly what I've been hoping for since I first got my herc. I'm sure a spacer could be created to allow the Okeanos to work :)

The unit will not be connectable to the Core other then to charge it via usb cable.

We Are converting the Cores kits to be pass through vapes.

Yes because it will give you a constant wattage Instead of what voltage the battery is, so this means you need AW IMRs and the only batteries we will recommend with them.

Currently not sure what we are doing as far as having pass through capabilities. We will know once my engineer hammers out the requirement.

As for price, not yet determined.

THe Okeanos wont hook up to this, but we do have something planned and once we have the final prototype we will make what we have planned for it. If possible.

Okeanos will not fit unless i make a change. Got me thinking now. Will discuss with engineer on Monday.

I'd be really happy with some sort of shaft that screws into place, where the Herc goes, and allows the Okeanos to screw into the top of the device. Though I'd really like a slightly thiner, but longer Okeanos, with a little more water capacity.
