I don't think that the tray makes it faster - filling caps in a bowl with grind herb goes much quicker imo
btw i've even reshaped a stomped on cap with the cleaning brush handle, so after 1 year i havent't disposed one cap

I’ve never tried the bowl technique. I’ll give it a shot next time I’m capsule-inclined.

But I do have a capsule question. Has anyone discovered black residue on the side bowl area due to capsules? Or perhaps scratching of the bowl? Wondering if the metal on metal contact could be the culprit...

You use the liquid pad in the bowl at all? Mine has scratches ever since I started using them for micro doses and when I use my water pipe adapter I jam a liquid pad in it instead of a SS screen to secure and hold herb down when I use it upside down and the inside walls of the adapter always gets tons of residue when I do that.

I do, and that may very well be the reason; thanks for bringing that to my attention!

I just came in here to say that I’ve been using my Mighty these last two days with the delta rubber adapter to my hydra tube and holy shit, that thing is incredible.

For some reason my Cloud isn’t performing like it used to, so I’ve been looking for other vapes. So far, the Mighty is pretty dang amazing with the hydra tube. Loved the Mighty before. But now really love the Mighty :-)

Currently after I finish a capsule I would literally open my mighty and drop the capsule on the ground and put the next bowl in and 20 secs later I would pick up the first capsule. Is there a more efficient way? Don't want to put it back in the magazine since it's like burning

You got it bro, that's it. Maybe not on the ground, though, I always find a surface nearby. But the ground works!

Me too. I keep spent capsules in a little section of my smell proof bag. But a second capsule dispenser with some colored tape or something could help keep organized...

I actually have no use for the capsules, a while back I bought these baskets (on the right):

They cost only $2 for 4 from my hemp store.

Initially I just wanted extra protection for my oven and to not have to clean it with a brush after every single use (as I normally would), I saw how my friends Mighty's oven was so caked in grime and corroded. But I found I never need to clean my oven at all, or replace the bottom screen in it.

Later I found I can use these baskets to pre-pack bowls and seal them in a 1g baggy for transporting.

I tend change the capsule whenever no more vape is coming out!
But seriously,
If you look closely the magazine has little embossed numbers on it. For me they are all but worthless 'cause my eyes ain't so good.
I often put only 7 (or less) capsules in the magazine, so there's always one empty space (or a grouping of empty spaces). I take loaded caps from the first available that's clockwise from the empty space(s), and replace spent caps at the other end of the line.
My bigger problem is knowing when I'm on my last one.

on *rim* of lid to leave one or two small grip marks
that can now be used to separate 3 strains
no mark - one mark - two marks

also filed tops to make them shiny and easy to tell apart
from duller bottoms of upside-down used capsules

I have used the capsules with my Mighty for a while and liked them but I'm back to native with a liquid pad on top.

Just me, but a bowl is a bowl and just like a beautiful Meerschaum pipe, I consider the darkening of the bowl to be a patina of good use. :-)

I tried hot blasting my air path with a volcano turned up full and the Mighty up full with the screen removed (4 second blasts).
The easyvalve chamber seals well to mighty bowl and blows through at a medium rate. I didn't get to see much debris fly out, but after a thorough cleaning and brushing out the bottom screen etc. my air flow did indeed appear to improve a little!

Like @Baron23 ,I decided to try going back to putting loads under the pad, and while cold testing, I think I could feel more draw restriction in an empty capsule, than in a liquid pad.
The pad keeps things nice and tidy too for now, but the capsules have been too great for me to go without for long!

Do you remove your CU screen Baron, or leave it in for the odd big bowl?

Good choice, and welcome to the future. The Mighty is a luxury vape system, and rock solid in engineering. My Mighty actually fell into a lake and it still worked after I retrieved it quickly and dried it off.

Impressive, and not sure how much is left in your warranty, but it's probably 0 months now.

I never could get into those capsules, convenient yes but I just never got the vapour I required out of them compared to direct loading. Maybe because they couldn't hold as much? Always thinner wispier clouds even on high temp, but my grind probably wasn't fine enough.

Nothing like stuffing that chamber full to the tits and ripping!

I think I read it in the manual or somewhere online. It makes sense, since your not drying the bud out at lower temps while you wait for it to heat up.

If you drop your Mighty in the lake you may need to dry out your bud at the lower temps!

I can see dropping in a capsule in a hot oven to get some more convection maybe, but can't say i've ever tried or heard of anyone dumping herb into a hot oven. Careful not to burn yourself!

You can.
I start at the lowest temp until there's less vapour;then gradually increased the temp untill im maxed out.
I try to get all the different temps through a chamber

I just leave the CU alone. No need to take the CU screen out that I can see. I like the LP on top of the load as it seems to increase conduction just a bit and in a way that gives me VERY even AVB...even more so that native without the LP on top.

Perhaps you're thinking about the Volcano? (First heat up, then attach bowl, then click on the balloon)

Instructions say
"Switch on the device (heating up the Vaporizer with full Filling Chamber and Cooling Unit mounted is recom- mended)"

I do admit for the second or third bowl, I end up filling a hot bowl regardless...

With capsules, of course you can heat up first then insert.

Honestly, doesn't really matter much; yet another win for the Mighty!
