I found an 18mm glass water pipe adapter here:
http://www.vapingfans.com/18mm-water-adapter-for-mighty-crafty-vaporizer.html

I chose slow post and it is coming from China so who knows when I will get it, but I will post a review once I do. Seems like it might be a good cheap alternative to making your own. It also doesn't fit awkwardly on the mouth stem as the Namaste adapter does.It looks like it fits where the cooling unit attaches. The Namaste adapter works in a pinch but I would rather have something more stable connecting to the base of the unit.

Anywhoo, still loving it after about a week. Does waxes beautifully. I actually prefer the flowers to be water filtered through my glass piece. The waxes don't really need that and taste amzing straight from the unit.

Have not had a screen fall apart yet. The pad works fine but much of the oil gets stuck in the pad instead of making it to your lungs.

The screen does scratch the bowl too but it does not affect the performance
You are lucky, mine always ended up getting messed up from taking it out. I would use the orange tool and poke one side down and then try and pick it out. Eventually they all start to come apart. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Anyways, I much prefer to lose some oil in the pad than to deal with pesky screens getting stuck or scratching my oven.

Heya all, :) I'll be coming up on 10 months soon, still no problems. I've actually started lessening up how close to the heart I held it; taking it out and about without the case. The inner jacket pocket protects it well enough.

Few things else;

- On the topic of whole nugs, I echo everyone. I never do this, did it the other day while I went out with some friends to dinner....no loading tool or grinder. It worked great, but I feel less great than when ground. I did bump up the temp to compensate, I mean overrall it was still a great vape.

- On cleaning the inside bowl/bottom screen, I did not clean the bottom screen, but I did clean the inner bowl. For me personally, the difference in quality is pretty negligible. I'm not usually riding at lower temps so maybe that's why I don't notice, but I did purposely do some at a bit lower (380) and didn't notice a hugedifference. It did chug like crazy and a little better, but we're talking really not that much improvement in vapor quality....though I did find some.

- Finally used it with water. Didn't have a proper seal, always am meaning to grabbing that WPA but never get around to it. Cut a piece of hose and put over mouthpiece, put other end in 14mm reducer. Worked really well, though I need to pinch hose (learned after the first few hits, need to try again later) I would honestly compare the hits most like the EVO in terms of quality and taste when used through water. Was great! Wouldn't do it regularly for me, but I can see how someone would use a Mighty as a "daily driver" with such versatility.

I'm at 14 months so far with no problems. #78##

On whole nugs try this, pack it in and start low. And plan on vaping the next 30-40 minutes, and using about two full bars of battery. Then move up in temps to keep the vapor coming.

True it takes a while and you will get some wispy hits, but most hits are all flavor, and the conduction heat in this vape will fully roast and extract most all the goodies from your herb. Conduction heat is not always a bad thing IMHO. It is really worth a try to see if it suits you.

If I have any complaint with my mighty being a daily driver is that it is very easy to get too high during the day, and saving some is never the same, again because of the conduction heat. I know its really a hybrid, just saying. So my minor complaint after no problems in 14 months. No broken fins, no funky codes, just a well used, broke in, but never broke vape.

I agree I've gotten too baked while using it and panic for a second lol. Eventually I just let it take over me and am in bliss. One thing you could do is help it cool down by drawing even though it's off. You'll pull some heat out of it, and even when it's off i can still get like 3 good pulls out of it. The Mighty is my favorite portable to use right now. I hope the GH doesn't change that too much.

They're the cheap adapters that Vapefiend resells. Some people have cracked their casings completely off their units from using these. Be really careful when using this adapter.

I use S&B fine screen and it holds up quite a while. Bigger problems are misplacing it or dumping with the bowl!

Make a cut with scissor straight in to center, cutting diagonally across the rectangular grain of the mesh. Then you can slightly dome it to a conical shape and put it on top of load, point down. It doesn't have to be very tight. To remove it I can always, if necessary, get the orange tool in where the screen is sliced.

Scratches in the oven? I don't see in HD anymore anyway.

I've been using fine screens at oven, in C/U and as top screen almost all the time. To me, even thru water, full ovens get harsh before the end, so I'd rather do two or three smaller bowls and I find the screens easy to use and very easy to clean.

I've tried what you mentioned but now all my screens I had are gone. They got messed up. I don't feel like purchasing more since I'm lazy and don't want to spend money lol. For now I'll stick to the pad and just make sure I clean it. It just feels so much more natural inserting the pad and taking out. I hope you enjoy your Mighty though, it's awesome to have options on how to use it. It looks like it's working for you so that's great. :peace::leaf:

Thanks for the tip. I'll be mindful not to force it. Hopefully I can alter it by shaving some plastic off if it doesn't quite fit.

@Vapetrees - you really should try the dome screen mod in the CU. Game changer for me - no pad - no cut screen scratching up the sides....no trying to fish it out.... just an awesome way to keep the load tight! I've never gone back! I also know you will love the Mighty still, even after your GH arrives! Time and a place for both!

I also have never once removed any o-rings (some may remember me always ruining the small one with the latch catching it)... I just take the CU apart for cleaning and toss in a ziplock with ISO and put that in a bowl of hot water, then rinse. Never an issue with the seal leaking....and no fussing to "roll" the little o-ring back on properly. And most importantly, no little o-rings down the sink drain!

@biohacker Where would I be able to get those screens you speak of? Yeah I don't think I'll forget about the Mighty, my Pax2 is probably gone now though.
Any pics of this mod @biohacker ?
I have a dome screen but it gets mangled. I've seen some people using what appears to be a thicker SS screen with bigger holes like this 'strainiacs' video. Hes got a crafty but look at his Cooling Unit, should work for the Mighty.
Note: screen mod at 6 minutes in the video.

I think they are 3/4" screens? There are some detailed posts, I definitely wasn't the one to invent this mod!

Any pics of this mod @biohacker ?

I did, just a few pages back, and then someone posted even better pics. You don't need a domed screen, just a regular flat 3/4" (I THINK) screen, and then mold it on something and it will just "catch" on to the existing CU screen, if you choose to use one (I do!).

One thing I love about the Mighty and its CU, as well as these double screen mod - ALL my glass stays CLEAN! Much rather have a dirty CU than dirty glass!

Ah, thought it was goldblum

The Sb Mail was in the Spam folder.. Mighty is not repairable, but they offered me a New one for 250... Considering I had the last one for 348€ for almost 1 year, thats 1€ a day.
250 doesnt sound that bad but I am broke as fuck

What happened to your Mighty? Why do you have to pay $250 when you have a warranty? Did you break it yourself? I tried looking it up, but only see reference to you breaking the charge cable.

I'm down to only 2 Mighty's in my arsenal now (many vapes on the chopping block though!), and a Supreme3 on its way. The Mighty has continued to impress me as my only vape! I really much prefer the 45degree WPA adapter to tiny piece of silicone over the SonG, it's just such a better seal that you don't even need to think about.

Looking forward to the Muzzmod as not not have the CU rob any actives or flavour! Should be a noticeable step up in airflow too!

What is a muzzmod? can i get a link to see what this is?
I was thinking of a water tool adapter, except that i should be careful not to break the fins is it ok?
