Yes I try to keep daily consumption at .5-1.1g max this stuff isn't cheap xP
So all in all the mighty is just the luxury version of the crafty? No real functional difference aside from the luxury features (vibrating and digital display)
I have the Crafty, not the Mighty. I prefer its size and the fact that it can stand up without assistance (but you can get a great looking stand for the Mighty from @Ratchett).

And it's shorter battery life is not an issue for me. But if you plan on sharing this with others, you may want to go for the Mighty. As a solo vape, the Crafty may be best for you.

If money was no object, I'd probably have both...

Do you think that today is more reliable the Mighty than the Crafty? how much?

I'm tired of having to stay without vaporize because of defective devices and thinking to buying a durable equipment (desktop + Portable)

Any way to check how many hours use on this bad boy like how you can do with the Crafty???

Mighty seems to last me the whole day and night on one full charge. I am a full time patient at the moment so if I had to work it old last me about two days I bet. Trying to drain the battery every time before recharge to try and cut down on "charge cycles" if I ever have to send mine in and S&B fully the battery replacement on me.

Cleaned my CU for the first time yesterday. After a week of being a daily driver It wasn't that bad at all. Do some of you guys use a lot of concentrates with your mighty or something?? I only use flowers and use the fine screen in the CU. took the CU apart into the two main pieces and soaked the in ISO for a couple minutes then rinsed with hot water. Was still slightly sticky but I was nervous to soak the unit for long.

At first I tried a qtip with some ISO but was getting cotton strands on the cu. need to get some of those fancy stronger qtips

You can do an ISO soak for at least fifteen minutes with no ill effects....I do it like every five days.

Get "precision tip" swabs. They are pointy and shed very little compared to regular swabs. I also use the point of a bamboo skewer to dislodge the stickiest bits before returning the CU to ISO for an additional few minutes.

That's a good way to reduce the overall life of your battery, but as you wish. It's better to not drain it to the floor.

You can do alot more than 15 mins. I've done an hour or so without an issue. That's 99%.

I finally cleaned my mighty. I didnt find a way to take my heater screen without bending too much, but I inadvertently cleaned it while scrubbing the oven borders with a magic eraser. The first time my oven is shiny in months :)

For the cu. I dont know what over exposure to iso will do. But I know heating the iso is exponentionnally multiplying the amount of time of room temp soaking. 1 min in hot iso = many minutes in room temp iso.

I scraped what I could of my cu with toothpicks. I tried soaking the cu with pwb after. And overnight. The reclaim was creamier but still sticky. I iso soaked it maybe 20min and shaked it a bit and everything came out like new. I think the pbw/water soak kinda of inflated the reclaim so the iso could act quicker.

@420democrat As for conserving herbs. My exp is that it seems more natural to dump a bowl when the vapors get thinner using a mighty than using my solo. But I do think I got about equally high from the same amounts herbs when I used both of them dry

I think S&B recommends not leaving it to soak in iso for more than 30 minutes in their cleaning guide. (FWIW I know at least one person whose CU became malformed after a full hour soak, so YMMV and all that....)

I think you are asking which is more reliable.
Based on all the posts here on FC, the Mighty is more reliable than the Crafty. More Crafty owners are on their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and maybe 5th unit.

Mightys have had to be warrantied and replaced too, but not at the level of Crafty returns.

If you don't need the "stealth" of the Crafty, IMO the Mighty would be better for your needs/wants in a vape

Thats the answer i need. Stealth is not the problem, the problem has the usb battery, i need to can chargue 2 Times minimum with a power bank. But i see somebody with 12v Bank.

I have done soak for an hour or so and just noticed both my CU's are warped. They no longer seal together properly even with new o-rings.

Beware of soaking for too long. I noticed it did not work as well and could not figure out why until i put finger over the hole and tested and sure enough both of them leak until you squeeze the sides together then it stops

I recommend a 20 minute ISO soak in a zip lock bag and shake it a few times. After that use an old toothbrush to remove the residual resins if any and to help clean the hard to clean crevices. Rinse with warm water and you're done

The manual says no more than one hour.

I stand corrected. (That's why I said "I think"...my shorthand for "I may be too stoned to recall accurately"...)

My original point stands however, as you'll note there are reports of warpage after a one-hour soak. Seems like the risk/reward ratio is not favorable compared to say 30 minutes, but again, your mileage etc....

:cool:Just got my mighty:love: this thing is absolutely amazing!! I charged it complete from 80% took about 25min. Toasted two .15 bowls with the liq pad with 2 huge clouds & 2-3 small clouds @ 375f & went up to 380f for the last two. For the third bowl I went .3 no pad @ 370f for 3 huge clouds then I went up to 395f & I tell you what, shit got real for the next three draw's:cool: I mean it looked like a steam train out of 1800's came rumbling through my living room for a couple of min haha. I come from the solo (with a shit ton of draw resistance) & the Air (with a decent amount of resistance, but better then solo) so hitting this beast was such a pleasure, & I have never got such quality flavors all the way through the session. I am going to go after some terpenes @ 290f tomorrow when I wake up!!! But more high temp pain relief & sedation tonight:science:

That seems like a bad idea (inadvertently cleaning the screen with the magic eraser) because you don't want eraser particles in the vape, running it over the screen breaks off particles like a fine cheese grater...of your worried about bending the screen, once you remove it, flatten it between two quarters and it will be like new.

I know it is discussed in this thread, I am just unsure where, but should I recharge @ 1/6th remaining? Sorry I am not very battery wise.

Yeah no kidding, isn't there like toxic formaldehyde in those magic erasers?

@AKFiRe check out batteryuniversity.com or just google "lithium battery management or practices" or "how to prolong your batteries"...it's all there...pretty simple though, try not to use and charge at the same time (heat kills batteries) and don't take your batteries to the bottom (or top apparently)...they like partial charges more than deep full, although apparently it's good to do a deep discharge once in a while to "reset" the calibration meter.

S&B counting battery cycles is an entire other thing.... i'd be more concerned about keeping the batteries as healthy as possible. But then again overall apparently trying to do these things may only add slightly more life to your battery.

No warpage on my year old CU, soaked for an hour each cleaning (and once soaked for a whole lot longer than that). I am very skeptical about the idea it can cause warpage, it hasn't in my experience and there are other factors that could contribute.

I wonder if warpage experience is related to which version you have?

I know there's been discussion about charge cycles on the battery in Crafty, and I have first hand experience with S&B telling me exactly how many cycles my Crafty had on it.
Has any Mighty owner been told specifically that they exceeded the count? Or been counted at all? I'm beginning to wonder whether there is a 'counter' in the Mighty.
It may be as simple as, "these are as bad batteries, they will no longer accept a charge. Wear & Tear item, not covered, send in your money." In this case, following a practice that keeps batteries as healthy as possible makes sense (rather than worry about number of cycles they're going through).

That just happened...
They may not count actual charge cycles and instead keep track of watt hours out/ watt hour back in for a more complete picture. So many watt hours back in the battery = one cycle.

It would not surprise me if the German engineers built in a way to get a "more complete picture"! Your explanation is plausible, to this layman.
Has anyone had direct communication with the manufacturer specifically about charge cycles in a Mighty? Can we confirm whether they even have this capability?

@elmomuzz, I cut apart my muzzmod that had epoxy (jenn weld, original) failure (I'll call it that for now). I was very surprised to see oil completely covering the flat mating surfaces of the glass and plastic. The joint between them was just afloat in oil, like some kind of capillary action draws it in there. I had taken care to get the surfaces to match, even though these are not the actual glue surfaces. The oil found its way under, then a small opening (epoxy had 'peeled away' from glass) and leaked out.

I know there's been discussion about the use of epoxy and it's been stated that the epoxy is not in the vapor path. My observation is that, on this one piece, there is definite interplay/touching of material in vapor path with the epoxy bead. I'm not calling this a real danger zone (yet), but it clearly was not a prisitine buffer zone between the vapor path and the epoxy. Maybe this is only in my trial. Though at least one other member has discussed the oil kinda getting the better of the epoxy my read is, still, that expansion/contraction between the plastic, glass and epoxy is beyond tolerable for the glue to stand up. The epoxy can handle the heat, but not the movement.
I was able to scrape & completely clean the glass adapter, so I could try again.
But I may just pickup one of the several Mighty adapters on the market that don't employ adhesives.

Only you know whats best for yourself. :)

I do think the concern is pretty low since the adapter only gets warm and not hot during use. You could think of the oil filling any voids as a buffer and seal against cross contamination from the glue.

If S&B made a one piece adapter like mine out of their plastic material I'd be all over it.

Thanks.
I agree the danger is low, since temps don't approach the tolerance of the adhesive. And I appreciate the thinking that the oil is forming a seal against contamination. Very good!

That Namastevapes adapter from their own 3D printer looks close to the mark, but given @Ratchett 's comments about cost of high quality printing media, I wonder first about the properties of the material (what is it?) used at this price point.

I think S&B will avoid designing an adapter that brings their piece anywhere near water!
