So I purchased a counterfeit Mighty off of ebay last week, but was luckily able to get my money back. I'm now in the market for a REAL Mighty and have PM'd Randy @PuffItUp. I hope Randy can hook me up!

The Vape life store dot com has the mighty for $319 shipped when you add the code 'BLACKNOW' - anyone have any experience with this site? Would love to buy one from Randy, but I haven't heard back and Puffitup has a 20% Black Friday deal, but they are out of the Mighty. C'mon! I have Black Friday Finger and need a Mighty in my trigger finger.

Have you purchased from them before?

I emailed them to ask how long the sale lasts (through the weekend) and if they guarantee the latest Migh version (yes, apparently).

Seriously considering getting a second Mighty from this offer....

I have made a purchase from them. Its a legit retailer. Vape Life Will has several videos on youtube from his start as s reviewer to his launch of the store. I did my research before I purchased and everything was typical of a purchase from an online retailer including email receipt, tracking and answered my questions very quickly went I sent an email.

^^ i went ahead and pulled the trigger at vape life store and bought the Mighty with the wear and tear kit for $347.91 out the door with free shipping (with blacknow code). Best deal I could find online. I sent an email to the company and they responded within 5 minutes and guaranteed a real Mighty and latest version from S&B. Will keep you posted once the item ships.

Thanks. I assumed they were legit, they responded to me right away, etc...but since you vouched for them I was curious. Thanks again, I am super-close to pulling the trigger. (Just was hoping not to spend any more cash this month. What a fool I was. :p)

Vapes R Great
So I have had the mighty for a few days now.
It took a little bit to get use to the plastic mouthpiece as I have used arizer solo and air for the last few years. It does not conserve as much as the air/solo and I slightly prefer the taste due to the glass stem.
But in overall performance it's not even close.

This thing is amazing and I wish every cancer patient could have one of these when going through treatments. I haven't even thought about smoking or using my Air.
I was so impressed I was looking yesterday at buying a crafty from the PIU sale but was a little out of my price range as I just got mighty a week ago.
It is big but not overly heavy or bulky. Fits in a inside jacket pocket nicely. I don't know if I can even mess with other portables now lol. This guy is a game changer for me.

Biggest tip I have taken from this thread is to leave the CU on after use and let cool down before opening. I feel this will really preserve the integrity of the plastic. Also put the fine screen in the CU is a must.

Shout out to all the new Mighty owners over Black Friday!!!

"Cannabis has NO medical value" F$*K YOU!!
I just bought my Mighty from planet Vape, I paid $399. But got custom molded Vapecase $50, 4pc alum grinder $24, & small vacpac $6. Pluse all the extras s&b provide in the box. The Vapecase was the attraction for me. I am in love with the "quarantine series" Vapecase. It carries all my extra's like grinder, & a small jar that holds 4.5g of pre-ground up herb. I also bought the crafty because I am extremely indecisive about these two. I am pretty sure that I am keeping the mighty & returning the crafty (came with same extra's) I will use my Air (still an amazing Vape) for when I need a more stealthy application. I am super stoked to be a mighty owner!!

I used to leave the CU on after use and went through 3 units with chipping plastic in four months. With my fourth unit I started carefully removing the CU immediately after use and have found that I have no issues with chipping or softening plastic whatsoever. This unit has lasted 5 months. It also stops the oily build up on the top screen completely.

I highly recommend using this technique as it allows the plastic on the heating unit to cool down dramatically faster.

I try to always take the c/u off while warm, yes even immediately after use. Many things move smoother when warm! and I agree it's likely less stress on the housing. Better to turn/move it before any oil that may be present begins to harden.
The bowl empties and brushes out easier when warm as well.

I've also recently found myself using an extra screen on top of the load with every bowl, not only short bowls. The c/u screen and the extra screen both stay very clean.

With both of my previous Mighty's I always took the CU right away when hot, but also sometimes when cold and never, ever had any chipping or breaking plastic pieces. Serials were both 12XXX. I keep my shit pretty clean though.

Time to shop for glass for the Mighty! Grasscity has a 30% off sale and free shipping over $100!

Looking for a decent reducer for my Mighty Muzzmod.... do you guys think this one is overkill? I can pick one up at my local headshop for a few bucks, but figure that quality matters?

http://www.grasscity.com/int_en/gra...nt-adapter-18-8mm-to-14-5mm.html#.VlrfYt-rRE4

If you showed me that adapter yesterday, I'd have steered you away, but now I'm a bit unsure. The one in the pic you link to isn't flat on it's bottom (in photo, the 'top'). I would look for one that's flat on the surface that will meet the c/u when made into a muzzmod.
Just last night I had first problem develop with my muzzmod. I had used a very nice adapter from Oregon Glass, but still developed a small problem, enough to make me discard this one and do it over. In my case, I don't think the glass is the problem.

The last session I used it for was with some reclaim on the pad: a long, hot session, to be sure. Immediately after, I noticed a very small area of the jenn-weld epoxy had actually peeled back from the glass. It was an area where the epoxy was tapered to very thin where it meets the glass.. So, some had peeled back, and when I touched , it had some sticky on it that was leaking from the inside.

I was immediately reminded of @subway13029 statement & thinking that, in his muzzmods the oil was actually eating away at the epoxy. I don't agree with that, but I'll admit that appearance was there on mine. I believe the root problem in my case boils down to 2 possibilities. 1. The mating surfaces were not perfect, and even though these are not the glue-surfaces, any imperfection will allow hot oils to travel, and 2. The jenn-weld was applied too thin and at this weak/thin area it could not withstand the variation of expansion/contraction between the plastic and glass material (aa well as the epoxy itself). It had definitely peeled back, on its own.

Any feedback from other intrepid Muzzmod makers/users?

I am fortunate to have a @Ratchett designed SonG adapter on hand for the Mighty, and haven't skipped a beat!

Should I just go with the Easy Flow adapter and accept using the liquid pad spacer? I just don't want to mess up my new Mighty.

Has anyone tried this one?

http://www.namastevaporizers.com/products/crafty-mighty-14mm-adapter

and is this the Easy flow adapter?

http://www.vapingfans.com/18mm-water-adapter-for-mighty-crafty-vaporizer.html
I guess the world is opening up...maybe no need to involve epoxy & hacksaws for this anymore!
@Ratchett's got that new SonG v2 for the Mighty now, too.

I do rather like the idea of taking the c/u out of the equation.

(that 2nd one looks a lot like the Vapefiend Easy Flow piece...adding the pad would seem like a fine practice.)

Could a glass maker produce an adapter that looks more like that Namastevaporizer piece? All glass, one piece?

So FC I think it's been about year since I got my Mighty. It was the second vape I got, after the Plenty.

Firstly, I've said this over and over, but it was the best £286 I ever spent. The Plenty was cool, but trying to kick a 20-year smoking habit wasn't easy. The Mighty changed everything. Here was something that actually simulated smoking, and I gave up the joints with ease.

I've sent it back to S&B once, because the charging adapter broke. This was after 7 months owning the Mighty. It had a couple of other things, like the battery meter never showing full, and the top fins breaking. But other than that it worked flawlessly. They sent me a new one but I almost wished I kept the old one. We had so many adventures together.

Now that first Mighty was used a whole fucking lot. Never had a problem with it, dropped it numerous times and luckily was fine. My tips for keeping a good Mighty are: keep her clean and don't treat her mean. When I see these cracked Mighty's all I can think is- how in the fuck did you manage to do that!? I taken mine on trips, let my idiot friends use it and nothing bad has happened yet.

The two main things that makes the Mighty stand out for me are firstly the sheer power it can kick out, and secondly the cooling unit. Personally I think it's genius, there's no water, no long whip, but still nice smooth, dense clouds at high temps. It's something the MV for example lacks, and goes to show how it's a complete vape package out of the box. You can put it through water, you can use a long whip but you don't have to. The filling tool is genius too, I use it for every vape I have :)

My only worry is the battery replacement issue- I always thought the batteries would degrade at some point though, and I had planned to just use it plugged in at that point. But what S&B are charging is very expensive for a couple of batteries, maybe that price will drop in future.

My top tips are:

Dump the load after every session and brush out the bowl. Blow into it as well to remove all particles.
Soak the cooling unit and everything else in ISO for the full one hour. I've done this every time and I'm still using the original CU and o-rings, and they look like new.
Use the brush or a cotton bud to remove the oil while it's still submerged in ISO, it should all fall off easily after an hour soaking. Then rinse everything with hot water.
Put the cotton bud (q tips to our American cousins) as far as you can in the mouthpiece and twirl it to get a fat blob out.
If you have a hard bit of residue, use the orange pick to scrape off the CU while submerged in ISO.
Clean the steel bowl with WATER. Just a damp bit of kitchen paper towel, hold the Mighty upside down so nothing can drip down, and rub the shit out of it. How easy was that?
Clean when you feel noticeable resistance when turning the mouthpiece.
If you're not getting much vapour, change the screen in the bowl.
Only vape and charge in an emergency. It can cause overheating.
Nothing works as well as a completely full bowl. And for concentrates a herb sandwich beats the liquid pad. And using concentrates will require more frequent cleaning.
Don't forget to clean your brush in ISO.

And finally

Don't use too many marijuanas in it as it will make you do very little and forget things. I recommend no more than 4 marijuanas a day.

Do the mighty and crafty have different bowl sizes?
Is there a way to be conservative with either or are both herb hogs? I'm about to pull the trigger on one or the other and juSt need a few tips before I choose on either one

Same size bowl, you can use the liquid pad or a screen and be as efficient as you need.... .1g no problem, and i'm sure .05g at max temp would yield a decent tasty hit.

Yes I try to keep daily consumption at .5-1.1g max this stuff isn't cheap xP
So all in all the mighty is just the luxury version of the crafty? No real functional difference aside from the luxury features (vibrating and digital display)

There are substantial differences, though they both vibrate. Yes, they make similar voluminous vapor.

I don't see the Mighty screen as a luxury feature. Lots of kid's toys have them these days!

Here's just one difference I've noticed: My old Crafty(s) could heat up so much in one session (or maybe from a couple of bowls strung together) that the unit would shut off. Blink, then, no mas. Okay, good thermal protection. After a couple of minutes to cool, it could be turned back on. I have not experienced this with a Mighty, in very similar use. Mighty just does not get as hot (except in the bowl!).

Lots of distinctions like this have been discussed, and arguments made on behalf of both products by members in the voluminous pages of this thread and the Crafty thread. I believe the answer to your question lies more in how you digest what's presented.
