Don't worry, people here get really anal when you share your opinion here about the MFLB that doesn't match up with it being some sort of god like product.

I really dont see it like that.

Here you have a collection of LB users that are generally very happy with how the LB works.

Someone new comes along and says "this thing dosent work".

What kind of response would you expect that collection of generally happy users to give?.. "ok your right we were all lying"?

The fact that most users here seem happy with the LB would suggest that their response would be along the lines of "It does work, you are probably using it incorrectly".

Of course the standard response to that is "no, even though I have only just received my LB and never used one before I am 100% sure I am using it correctly".

What can genuinely helpful posters say to that which will not cause some kind of offence? The white elephant in the room is of course "you are most likely not using it correctly"

Then we go around in circles.

"I am using it correctly"

"How would you know, you havent used one before and seem to be getting results which dont tie in with the rest of our collective experiences"

My mflb does not give me anything satisfying. I have it for 3 month now and i ready to throw it in the garbage.

I have read almost all this thread, bough battery and all.

Everytime i use it i get like a mini mini hit when the weed is fresh, then nothing. If i hold too long i get combustion. The weed is half grren half brown when im finished and i can get really good hit out of hit in my house vape.

I have read something about invisible vapor this is bullshit. I want real visible vapor. Down the mflb can do that?

The fact that I could be using it correctly is preposterous for you and you're telling me I have to be doing it wrong doesn't exactly help me in trying to understand why other people are getting far better results then I am.

If you're having such problems with it why dont you contact Magic Flight (through email). I'm sure they're the most qualified to answer your questions, and shit.......they got a lifetime warranty, maybe your box is defective and Booom problem solved

just emailed them today stating that my replacement unit, which is 6 months old, does not produce vapor any more. I have dealt before with them and found them to be great in the customer service department. i suggest emailing them and explaining what is wrong

If you say you box doesnt work then get a new one, there is a lifetime warranty.

Because obviously, nothing that is being suggested to you here seems to work for you so the only other option would be email them and let them know that you believe that your vape is faulty.

Ok I'll bite:

MIntberrycrunch: post pics of your ground herb. It needs to be a little finer than that which is perfect for your SSV. Then, if you have a 4-piece grinder, flip it over and keep grinding (so that the pieces don't fall through the trap but are ground yet again). Or, load a small trench in the LB, get a good hit, and then powder it with your fingers and try again. If this fails, you have a battery issue.

I have had my own battery issues, but I won't expect you to rummage through this colossal thread looking for info. Indeed, the vaporpedia is an awesome resource:

But what I found was that I needed to use a c9000 charger to refresh my batteries to like new. Is it possible for you to obtain a couple more Powerex or Eneloop batteries to test?

Is your indicator LED burning bright orange when you put a battery in?

If you put a freshly charged battery in, the LED should be fairly bright, and if you look down the draw hole, you should see a swirl of vapor in about 5 seconds. If this isn't happening, your herb is not dry enough or you have a defective unit. MF has demonstrated over and over that they are quite eager to replace your unit. In fact, they don't even demand the original be returned. How can you possibly beat that service?

If you receive a replacement, and have good batteries, and it still doesn't work, then simply sell it as used (the warrantee transfers so the lucky purchaser is guaranteed a like-new unit or they, too, can get a replacement) and get on with your life.

Anyone have luck with those cheap 3000 mAh batteries on Ebay? 8 of them for a little over $5 was too good to pass up on but I can always use them in other devices if there is bad pub with using them in the LB.

Should have my Launch Box tomorrow! $84 including shipping with the charger/batteries plus a CNC 4 piece grinder w/carrying bag and ZED pipe cleaners included. Best deal I've seen!

Thats about right. The proof is in how you feel 15 minutes later. This isn't a device for maximum cloud or milky hits. Visbile vapor, which is actually wasted vapor you are not ingesting, happens for me about 40% of the time of a large, long hit. You should indeed feel a little heat on your tongue while inhaling. You might think its REALLY SLOW but you can quickly experiment with faster/slower draws to find your sweet spot. If you feel nothing, do wait 5-10 minutes before taking another couple hits. This device is amazing in delivering effect without any other cues that you are getting it.

It takes a bit of getting used to, but you'll find it. Seems the common experience is to enjoy it but then 2-3 days later you "get it" and LOVE it.

Now the only thing is... what ever happened to the power adapter that was gonna let us plug into the wall? Ive always been fond of the idea and followed the news regarding the adapter but I guess somewhere along the lines, the idea fell through. Anyone know anything?

It's still in the works. Within the next week or two FC members will be beta testing them. Look back a few pages on this thread as it was recently discussed, or you can read about it on vaporpedia. I saw that it was updated about this a/c unit.

I have a question for this forum that i havent seen asked or answered in this thread but im not sure if its extremely mflb related, i vape my trenches untill they are an even solid brown or a mixture of that and pretty dark brown. Is this even worth saving for say making edibles/QWISO? I am asking this because I do not want to keep the duff around if its useless. Thanks

Just received magic launch box today

Funny story:

After about a month of research I finally got my MLB after the first one MIA through the Postal Service. Couldn't wait to load up the trench with some nice blue dreams and took about 5 or 6 hits with the battery in less than 10 seconds each time.

I did this because I did not see the same kind of vapor evidence that I do see with my Aromed 4.0. I will say it's a little more harsh than my Aromed 4.0 that uses a water bowl and a halogen lamp.

Anyway, after about 15 minutes I kid you not I was way too high and started to panic. I had to take 2 anti-anxiety medications, cold rag on my neck, a bucket nearby for my nausea, hot water bottle, 10 crackers with peanut butter and a quart of water just so I can come down.

I'm not that much of a lightweight but I didn't expect such a huge amount of vapor. Lesson learned, no matter how many YouTube videos I watched you have to do this for yourself.

I recommend 1 hit onlyt LESS than 10 seconds and just wait. Please no funny jokes as I am pouring my heart out which makes me vulnerable to attack LMAO

It is well worth it. We make about 10 muffins with 10-15g of ABV, that came mostly from the LB (and a bit from the EQ), vaped from medium to chocolate brown. Grind it with a coffee grinder until it is as fine as the flour you use for the muffins, add it together (so that the total is as much as it says on the recipe). Adding dried fruit bits or chocolate bits enhances the taste. After baking you can leave them to sit for 2-3 days in the fridge. If you do so, then the weird taste molecules will evaporate, and it will taste/smell like normal muffins.

Eating one muffin is usually enough (eat 2 to get really wasted), gives a nice couch-locking feeling after about 90 minutes, which can last for a day or even more if you have no tolerance.
