I cheat with the VC. I know how to make it breath this stuff. I draw the load with a dip&twist in the stash and I use the inverted CCD. And the cap has been relieved. I can vacate a cap in one draw to dark ABV... that hurts though. Can't do that with the LB. LB is for a session. VC is for medicating.

@TommyDee i use that method of dip and twist also works a treat and stops over filling.

@archangelz001 how do you use that nano grinder! It keeps slipping from my hands it’s so annoying ! It’s cute don’t get me wrong but a pain to use lol
I do them steps also, I was just curious to know if any other grinder just provided 1 step for everything. My secret stash is full of some herb but I got some testers yday of some other top shelf herb and really wanted to try it in the MFLB. Sadly I just didn’t get the time for the 2 step process. I ended up using the nano grinder and dumping in the MFLB. To no surprise it didn’t go down well as the herb wasn’t as fine and struggled to smoke it tbh.
If you don’t prep the MFLB in advance (in emergency situations) it does go unused for me as I don’t always get time to prep etc.

I’m actually surprised at the ingenuity of the finishing grinder. It’s more of a shredder than anything. I’ve only just seen more shredder style grinders only coming out now, to think MF did this so long ago! Hats of to them for starting this new trend.
If anyone was interested this is the link to that flower Mill shredder and yes it’s $125!

@Junny89, my process is pretty simple. I place the Finishing grinder on the LB where it fits perfectly. I hold it down with one hand and grind/shred with the other. Occasionally it slips but I don't consider it an issue. Weighing the herb to 0.1gm, Nano grinding, dumping into the Finishing grinder and grinding takes all of several minutes. What's your hurry? :brow::lol:

Found a solid base for the 510 adaptor. It's a coil from the Saionara wax concentrate tank. The Saionara is one of the most popular wax tanks and the coils cost like $10 and are disposable, so you could potentially make this for under a dollar if you know someone with a Saionara. The only materials needed is a Saionara standard edition (it has to be standard) coil and an m4 stainless steel screw. I don't know if this works with the buckets but the standard coils for sure.

Here are some pics. If you scroll down their are 4 of them. I broke a pin inside and could not get it out, so don't mind the pin. You would just need to (possibly) grind down an m4 stainless steel screw to fit the positive connection. I'll post more details when I get around to doing it. I also seem to lost the insulator, so I have to get a new coil and also not sure if the included insulator will be sufficient.

The outer column fits the mflb surprisingly well. It needed much force for my almost new box, but fit tight on even my loose well used one. I imagine with prolong use the rails won't be the same, but you can always tighten with force. I did shake it pretty good and it was not going anywhere.

I will have to do some testing on it after I get around to it. So watch out for that. This is also now simple enough that I do not feel the urge to make and sell adaptors. Maybe just to include a locking mechanism if that turns out to be necessary.

Hey, sorry for the double post, can't edit post anymore. Just wanted to mention I will probably not take this any further.

It is pretty much easy enough now that anyone who really wanted can figure it out pretty easy. Just grind down an m4 screw (id get a quality ss screw) to fit the positive connection. And make sure the insulator is tight fitting and will not cause problems with moving out of place. Last thing you want is the positive and negative touching. I'd recommend you grind down the screw to be form fitting for maximum connection (using a screw might seem ghetto to some, but you can get legit 316L stainless screws or even ejector pins if you don't want your adaptor to have threads sticking out). I was also a little worried that the positive might come loose since the negative is the only thing holding it together... can't say if it will be ok, but I was looking into spring loaded bullet connectors. Can't say how you will make that work easily. Edit: also you have to keep in mind the mflb will be pulling around 30a..... the base and m4 screw will be able to handle 30a, but if you use something else you will have to make sure it will handle the current. Having loose connections is not a good idea either.

I know I've been rude at times. I am having to try to really bite my tongue more often. I did mention I was just doing this to gain experience with dealing with people.

Anyways have fun, hope you enjoy max powered mflb's and really see what it has to offer. MFLB has a patent on mesh style vaporizers so the only way to experience it is this way.

Sorry, goofed up a bit, I remember the insulator was silicone, can't really look at it now since I lost it, but the threads could possibly dig through that and cause problems. I'd grind the threads around the insulator. Personally I'd use stainless ejector pins, I just mention screws cause they are easy to get and cheap.

I'm not a DIY type of guy when it comes to vapes.
My elbe batts and my fantastic (lol) technique
playing the LB, makes clouds and maximum
effect every time.
Dry bud, finely ground makes for a really
enjoyable two trench session!
This entry is mainly to put our beloved vape
back on the front page.

I see the 510mod works everywhere, but kinda wondering, anyone still using their Magic Flight PA? (and what version?)

yes i know, the infamous 2.0/2.1 charging cord,
i do own a PA 3.0 myself, it works, but it's "bulky" ... i don't like the feel about it when in use :/
also lack of markings (+/-), questionable "design", can't say i'm a fan of the product

Really looking out for an opportunity to try a 2.0 :) Looks were much better then IMHO ...
But i'm not sure if anyone still has one with 5y+ that still works? (were they really that bad?)

Never tried an MFLB - keen on one with modifying and stuff, seems promising.

Anyone out there can fill me in on what a common momds, is there an 18650 mod, or is just a high-quality AA good enough?

Battery life, performance, could someone fill me in on those metrics? Much appreciated :)

I have to defer to @TommyDee on the majority of details since he “built” mine after I sent him the parts. (I know my limitations.) Once back in my hands, I paired it with a Vaporesso Target Mini II. Running in wattage mode I usually vary it from 10 to 15 watts. I use the MF finishing grinder btw. It basically makes it a new experience. It is still conduction but I don’t really care about that debate. It works better and I haven’t recharged a AA battery In months. I recently started using the Vaporesso Swag II and had to get a couple spacers to clear the 18650 cap. It also works great but is a bit bigger but still easy to carry. I am still surprised MF hasn’t started selling something like it. It really does change an already fine experience for the better.

I was wondering has anyone tried using KENTLI battery's with MFLB? I sold my MFLB last year so I don't know if they will actually work I have a few of these I got to use on an night vision scope that runs like shit on AA(my run time went from about 30min to 4+hr on this great battery. My feeling is that it will ether make MFLB rock or combust very fast.

What makes these different is they are 1.5V not 1.2V they are LiPo so they should be really good regardless of charge unlike stranded battery's but could be dangerous on a unregulated vape like MFLB also they require a special charger.

Tell me more @YellowFever . A LiPo at 1.5 volts would be cool if it can do about 15 amps. I can get closer to that value but basically that is intriguing. Can you link up a datasheet and resellers?
