Hi guys. I picked up the MFLB a few days ago (and love it). I just have a question regarding the battery. I just don't know how to tell when they're finally charged. All I see when they're charging, is a still red light. That's it. No blinking. If they're empty, the charger will show the same "still red light". After hours of charging, the same "still red light". So my question is:
How can you tell when the batteries are fully charged or empty? Is there away to know using the charger?
There's something wrong with your charger or the batts. When I first put the batts in the lights go green and instantly go red until 4 or so hours pass and then the lights go green to show the batts are fully charged. You should contact the seller or the manufacturer.
I've had the MFLB a few months now and it was my first vape. Still love it but maybe someone can suggest a fix to a few things to improve the experience.....
The first is having to dump the trench after the first draw on a new trench to stop it from sticking to the bottom. Sometimes I have to do it again on the second draw too. I do a two step grind and dry. I use a regular grinder and allow that to dry out for a day or two. Then I re-grind to a salt, almost powder like consistency using a very fine sifting screen and let that dry for a day or two as well. Am I grinding to finely? I can't get it any dryer and I've even stored it in a air-tight container with a desiccant pouch from an aspirin bottle.
The second is the amount of black/goo like build up around the two trench bars. We're not talking about a little build up like I've seen in some pics. In the old days I would probably scrape it off and smoke it when times get tough and I might just anyway if I could figure out how to get it off without damaging the screen.
Maybe the two things I mentioned above are due to how fine I'm grinding and drying the herb but I thought the finer and dryer the better.
Even with the above ... The MFLB is like an American Express card....Don't leave home without it! My wife and I were sitting on a bench at a beach boardwalk minding our own business 'launching' away when my wife realized that a policeman had been behind us having a snack maybe 20 yards away. Can't beat the box for situations like that.
