I think I've decided on this. Now to budget my money. I also want to buy a $300 running watch...

Anyone know if this can be hooked up to say a 500ml EHLE? What would I need to do that?

The LB is a great portable vaporizer but it is not a desktop type of vape. I would look to another vaporizer to fit that role runner but thats just my opinion.

I agree.
I am amazed to see how each vape has fit its own little nitch and for portability and stealth the LB fits that bill. Like i said before as a college student, work or basically anywhere you couldn't use a desktop this baby is great. Less smell than a desktop, silent except for normal sounds an any coughing :) looks unassuming (except for the branding which could easily be remedied if the situation called for it). Before I bought this thing i had my doubts as to truly how stealth this unit is without any modifications (such as the McDondalds cup which has its place to add even greater stealth and requires bigger balls) I have the unit a week and have been so confident in its stealth abilities that I have taken several hits off the LB in a restaurant Lobby with State Troopers sitting 15 feet away. I am impressed that this thing can get my where I want when I most need it. (medical patient) What I am also impressed with is that the ABV from the LB is still very potent and sadly dumped a couple of trenches before I was like this shit is still good. Sure enough after a 2 more trenches I got home dumped the LB ABV in my E and in 20 min I was good. But as Beezleb said it certainly couldn't replace my E but then again my E cant replace the LB. ;)

:o Now that's impressive.

Just be sure to use the overhand "hide in palm" technique -- eventually the troopers are going to know what this thing looks like and what it is for.

I know, but a desktop vape isn't practical for me at the moment. Does anyone know how the LB could be hooked up to glass? I saw someone made a homemade bong, but I'd like as little homemadeness to it as possible if I bought an EHLE.

I haven't tried it but it should be rather simple. Same concept of a pipe to bong connection
Looks like any 18.8 connection and the right diameter silicone tubing (So you could shake while hitting).

Sounds good. Thanks. I should be getting a job soon, so if b-day money doesn't cut it (I have other things I need), I should have this vape by the end of summer.

Alright, I got my LB a week ago today. I'm having some trouble getting the hang of it though. As I understand, one would use 1 battery per trench. Is it normal, however, for the battery and trench to last almost 24 hours? I loaded a full trench and it took almost that long to turn completely brownish. Each session I would take 4 or 5 hits and would feel slightly medicated but not as much as some on FC have reported. When I draw slowly from the box I feel a little warmth. So, should one trench and battery last that long? Am I doing something wrong?

I'd suggest loading less. I have much more success loading small trenches. Battery life will last a while if you "let it". I like to use the fresh batteries. In times of need sure, use a battery a lot, and your bowl will last a while as you said. But if you constantly use a fresh battery and a smaller trench, i i feel your results will be better. hope that helps.

Ah, I guess I was expecting the battery to be completely spent at some point. I also realize I was taking short puffs so as to not get the peg stem too hot. I started taking longer hits (what do you know, peg doesn't get hot) and I think I can safely say trouble caused by pilot error.

Thanks for the help everyone

i posted this earlier..but this is what I use:
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3558

so far I've found the duracells have a snug fit and energizer & eneloops are loose fitting...I prefer the snug fit so I don't have to keep a finger on it from sliding out

also the copper wiring that is exposed at the bottom gets really hot after awhile and I've burnt myself from it (not badly but enough to say oww) so I am thinking of putting velcro tape (provide some cushion) on it unless someone sees that may pose a problem?

Heat could meltt your velcro, no one wants to inhale that. Hold it on the sides and it should be a non issue.

the prob is that I know it's there but in a different state of mind I tend to forget...nevermind the newbies that are just using it...who just leave the battery in the socket forever, even after telling them to pull out if its not in use....

I just got my LB and PD both this weekend. The LB is the most superawsomecoolthingiveeverused! sorry about the run on. The LB works great. If you follow the directions to the T, and use a bit of common sense, one should have a good vape session.

The buddy that told me about the LB let me vape a few trenches out of his LB before i bought mine. That closed the deal for me. I suggest though, following directions to the T.

Like others have said before on the forum.....a good investment would be some heavey duty re-chargeables and a rapid charger.

Im really enjoying this small wonder! and this is only my first 24 hrs with it.

AWSOME JELLYMAN! :o

if a battery fits in the hole without the sleeve being removed...is it required to remove it anyways? I don't like a loose fit where the battery just slips freely out

Yes -- the Box needs to make electrical contact with the battery. Removing the battery label makes this possible. The battery will not work in the Box otherwise.

Hey,

What kind of duracells do you use? I recently purchased some low self discharge duracells and they are far from snug. I batteries that came with the box are quite snug. I also seem to remember someone earlier in the thread saying energizers fit well (and also eneloops, I think). Maybe it is all subjective or maybe different boxes have slightly different size holes for the batteries?

@ magic flight and everyone else,

I really want to take advantage of the low self discharge batteries. Is there any consensus on which batteries fit best?

BTW, the box is working much better now. Or, I should say I'm figuring it out. Awesome product!

these are the ones that are snug and work pretty well if they weren't so old:

as for the eneloops I agree they are not snug..and do require twisting and turning for good contact...for instance...sometimes if i pop in freshly charged battery and let it sit, I won't get anything, but as soon as twist the battery about, at certain positions, vapor starts immediately... I just bought more duracell lsd (rebranded eneloops, made in japan (white top)) so they are also loose fitting...I cut the plastic sleeve 1/3 off so it's still a snug fit but doesn't get in the way of the copper wiring...so far it seemed to work nicely but I only tried once so far...battery seemed to die b4 the trench completed...these are new batteries so maybe after a few recharges I'll be able to better see

So I am guessing if the sleeve is required to be off for contact with the copper wiring than the battery needs to make contact at 2 points? the very tip and also the coil a bit further down?
