Hi

I have been watching videos on YouTube and I just don't get the MFLB??? It looks junky and primitive. This is what I would kludge together on the farm, if I had no other options.

What am I missing here? How is this worth $140USD????

From one barn dweller to another, some of the most useful and used barn items are often primitive and cobbled together or repaired with barn resources. As to the price, it's really a question of what vape works for the individual, one can spend a lot more on other vapes and have a less rewarding experience. 140 does seem excessive for the LB. I haven't checked any prices for years, and this is a surprise ...I guess.
This vape never breaks, is super stealthy and has a lifetime warranty.
There is a steep learning curve, and the batteries do not perform as well as the power units.
I have three LBs and would buy another if I lost those.
I like the H.S. science fair look! LOL

Yes, the MFLB looks sort of cool, and watching someone use one looks pretty neat.

However, for me the Starry v3 is pretty stealthy, and a pair of extra batteries, gets me through the day.

For ultimately stealth, my Yocan Vane can be hidden in the palm of my hand. The Vane provides about 5-6 sessions at 370ish. As for effectiveness, it does work if it is packed properly, if the unit is clean and not clogged, and if the stars are aligned, it is not as bad as some say. It is not, however, suitable for moderate daily use.

You guys got my VAS jumping with this new power supply!
I've been waiting for MF to solve their power issues, especially
with the vapor crowd leaning towards clouds and big rips.
$138 for all the power supply odds and ends is steep but
doable.
Will be pulling the trigger on this today!

OK folks,
I've had the jet pack for two days, and it's been interesting.
I ordered it on Monday and it arrived on Wednesday.
It took four and a half hours to charge up.
I used my old magnetic plug eventhough I had purchased
a new whole kit.
Everything was fine until I took it out in the cold. The old magnetic
wire was too stiff to keep a good connection; I had to give up.
Back in the house and the unit was working sporadically.
I unwrapped the new magnetic connect, and was immediately
impressed with the flexibility of the new wire.
Everything worked with the new connect after a quick ride
to the park for an outside session proved.
My old wall plug is 2000 ma, and the new one is 1250ma.
I charged the jet pack with the 2000ma plug; I will be using the
1250 that came with the kit in the future.
Oh yeah plenty of power on hand. How long will it last ???

I'm new to vaping. So far I have a Vane, Arizer, VERB, Starry v3, and Xmax Fog.

What can I do with a MFLB? Isn't it primitive compared to what is available today?

Has the MFLB changed over time? Is it evolving and getting better?

The MFLB is fun gadget.

It really is about what the user can get out of the vape. If one can get decent performance from a particular vape who cares if it is primitive, cheap, or whatever.

Always ready and not unwieldy like a log vape was.

once you get your wires together.
Used it nonstop for two days sun up to sun down
having quick sessions on the hour. It finally abruptly
died with no warning lights.
That scared the shit out of me as I thought it was broken,
but everything came back on when I plugged it up, and after
3 hrs it was fully charged.
So any trip less than two days you are golden for huge hits
all day with this device.
Out of 10 points, I would give it a strong 9( I hate wires).
Oh yeah, the new LBs seem to like the batts, so maybe
this is overkill, but the continuous power is addicting.

I'm still not sure about this one. Why not improve on the original by adding a proper switch/timer and a better power source? Everyone raves about the MFLB, so why not make it even better, by making it easier, integrated, and more modern?

Some designs are timeless, and if something has been proven to work well for such a long time, why spoil a classic with bells & whistles? The KISS methodology is not to be sneezed at and, the simplicity of this device only adds to it's charm imo, so I'm quite happy they have resisted the urge & left well enough alone

I love my MFLB because it was my first vape and it has a unique signature. Sometimes it is just what I want. Everyday? No. If all the rest of my gear was stolen or lost in a fire and all I had left was my MFLB, I’d get by and be happy. (and start saving for a Dynavap M and Mighty )

Unique signature, extremely reliable, historic,
and in the hands of Jedi Flyte masters will
twist your wig! on miniscule amounts of herb.
My heavy hitter was in for repairs and the LB
filled in really well with various power units.
Not a daily driver anymore, but a sharpshooter

I have kinda misplaced mine but pretty sure it is mixed up with a bunch of other plugs & PSU's - I just can't remember which one it is! Are you dry hitting the MFLB or using a water tool? MFLB is basically the only vape I trust as far as manufacturing concerns go. Yet throat irritation is an issue for me so I'm laying off at the moment.

Nothing wrong with trying a glass piece, the Orbiter from Magic Flight works as well as the UFO from Sneaky Pete because it provides more water interaction. The largest piece I could get the MFLB to work well with was a 10" straight tube bong. Good Luck

Magic Flight always seem to be releasing new Launch Box designs but I am loving the look of the recent tessellation line . . . .

Aaaaand a quick edit to report I have just found this image online which shows the PA 2.0 wall plug . . . . .

. . . . . . which matches up with a switching adapter I have amongst my bundle of plugs & PSU's - so I think I'm good.

After the "cooling stem revolution" with multiple vapes I'm quite surprised that there's not one yet for the MFLB. I would buy one in a heartbeat!

Maybe @khelek41girl of KG Woodcrafts can do an adapter. Simple enough.
