someone already does... in fact there are a couple of options. both are chinese vapes, but both are proven to vape pretty darn well from what i can tell.

neither however is as gorgeous as the grasshopper tho!

it looks like a slightly larger diameter than a standard ego... it easliy looks like an ecig. that fits the "pen" bill IMO.

there is another available that is even thinner and has been proven to vape by FC members. also easily is "pen" sized.

by "pen" i dont mean literally looks like a pen. i mean in comparison to ecig style vapes that many use for oil/liquid that are dubbed "pens". they fall in that category IMO.

Yeah, Imag is bigger (though they have the Imag Pen coming later this year), and the V2 Series 3 is small but not like steel or anything i think.

Also those are both conduction vapes, for me its not just the form of the Hopper (as I'm quite happy with some other current portable shapes and sizes), but the other features: Pure convection with full temp control, good batteries that can be swapped easily, and the instant heat (with no stirring maybe?!). Ofcourse the sexy form factor is a big pro, but to me there's a lot the Grasshopper can offer that the other new portables still don't...

From what I heard, this delay is due to them not being content with the new shirt clips for the pens. Extremely happy I never jumped on board and at this point, I really only watch to see what kind of crazy shit they'll spew every 15 days to keep the wolves at bay a little longer.
