At first I wasn't sure how much I'd use the Delta3 Stand, but dang this thing is awesome, it's like a throne for the GH.

I have one as well, but I tend to keep mine in my leather cover that came with mine. I tend to keep my table pretty cluttered and I keep thinking I'll knock it over on the stand...

I've had my Ti GH for over 4 months now and it is my primary driver every day until I can afford to grab another Evo one of these days.

As far as using it with glass...I use it with a portable Bubbler and a Mobius Ion Matrix, and it performs like a champ with both. I occasionally use it dry, but maybe only once a week.

My temp variances range from starting at 2.5 and finishing at around 4-4.2. I've never even tried it on 5 and probably never will...get plenty of clouds between 3 and 4 and the abv is always evenly golden to light brown.

Absolutely love this game changing vape. It is truly a portable Evo (to me). I'm not equating it directly with the Evo, but on a portable scale, it holds up quite well.

The only negative (so far), that I have been able to discern from using it with water tools, is that the batteries will drain a bit faster. Probably due to the longer, smooth draws and the little extra restriction involved with pulling through water.

So sorry that some people are still having problems with their 'Hoppers. Hope they finally get it all straightened out as this is one of the greatest vapes to come down the pike so far...:)

There is absolutely a difference between T5 for one hit every once in a while versus T5 for 20 hits over a 15 minute period. Ignoring the overheating issue (which may or may not exist), it seems likely that there would be other forms of wear and tear on the heater. Not to mention the cycle of rapid battery on-off discharging.

I'm not an electrical engineer, of course, so I can't say with certainty.

Do I think using it with a water tool at T5 is a problem? No. Could using it with a water tool at T5 and rapidly cycling it on and off for many hits be a problem? Probably not, but maybe.

Ok, let's go back to the basics and get rid of the straw man....nobody, to my knowledge, said anything about needing to use Temp 5 when used with a water tool (well, Jabba did but its his straw man he's knocking down...I don't know of anybody else making this assertion). Also, I don't believe that anybody said anything about 20 hits over 15 minutes....where did that come from???

Simply put, it is my personal opinion that if one wants to use the GH with a water tool, this is an individual decision and NOT heresy or violation of some sort of GH ethic. Its just some like their vapor through water. The other item, again my personal opinion, is that if the GH was not designed to use Temp 5 or is there is some hit/time limitation on Temp 5, they have sure damn well kept it a secret and anything else we say about it is pure speculation. Just my never humble opinion.

See ya'

Ha......you'd be the first to claim that I take anything too seriously....so thanks for that :)

My comments were solely in relation to the GH intended use. Surely a glass rip or two is not more of a burden on the device than using it 'natively'. Some posters indicate heavy usage via glass and at high temps...which imo is simply not likely an intended use or design of the GH product. It does sure look to work superbly with glass...and that is awesome! Is this use type causing premature failure of devices?...I do not know.

I am merely suggesting that if a person has the ability and desire to have sessions and rip tubes in their living rooms...I'd think that there are more reliable and appropriate devices which are specifically designed for such a use. For me...the GH is a pocket hero...capable of providing quick rips in a single bound. I can take a quick leak in the bathroom and take a rip in mere seconds....without combusting....do it quickly, easily and cleanly...imo the intended use of the GH.

I hadn't intended to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Perhaps I'm just getting old...and perhaps I just don't totally 'understand' all this vaporizer to glass tube ripping business...particularly when one is connecting a PORTABLE vape to glass. There is nothing finicky about operating a fully functional GH....it is the easiest vape to use that I've ever come across. The thousands of posts about failed GH's does add question as to how robust the design and materials within the GH perform over time (sometimes for a very short time) Until the GH durability is enhanced, I'd hesitate to use the device in potentially unintended fashions or ways which push the device to its absolute limits. Just sayin'....now lets hop along little grasshoppers.

Jabba -I agree competely...let's hop along :-) Thanks, we really don't think that much differently...well, just on a topic or two. No biggie. Cheers

I also bought Rachett's stand and it is a very nice accessory. I'm going to back to his site for a few more items as I like his take on design and what he's doing and his products look pretty practical and useful.

The stand also works very well for my wax pens...Galaxy and Hypnos Zero. Fits great. Cheers

I'd think that (as far as draw resistance) the GH is as good as it gets in the portable vape arena. I bought and quickly sold the FF2 for a variety of reasons....Predominant reason was the long slow resistant draw necessary to operate the device. It just required too much slow pulling, stirring, top on, top off, two fingers must be here, and I despise needing a phone application to change the temps (geez). Great taste and nice cool vapor from the FF2 for sure!...but most def NOT portable, simple, or easy.

I've found the GH to provide amazing hits and hit quantities from astoundingly small quantities of material. A little goes a much longer way in the GH than my Pax1...and unlike the FF2....I feel like I can more easily get all the vapor which was intended from a given amount of material.

If you just place a pinch in the chamber...small enough to be loose....you will have VERY little draw resistance and get superb results. If you choose to pack the chamber you will still get superb results, however, your draw resistance increases based upon how tightly you've packed. Trust me...unless you are a heavy hitter...you need not 'pack' the chamber whatsoever. You can then do a 3-5 second warm up....rip it....turn it off....and move on. 15 seconds total...pocket to pocket. It works like you think it should work.

I feel the need to state (knocking on wood) that I received my SS Hopper 7 days ago and it performs flawlessly. I use it 'natively' as I believe it was intended. I prefer the silicone tip, however, I usually rip one or maybe two consecutive rips....turning the GH off 75% through the inhale. This helps to reduce the inevitable heat created by a vape with this form factor. I disagree with other posters that anything below temp setting 3-3.5 is worthless. Even on temp setting 1....a longer slower draw produces results...less heat....and superior flavor. The difference between a single heat setting is pronounced...and 5 is VERY hot...while 1 is quite low. I've never attached the charger....but use a Nitecore D2. Most charges in the Nitecore take 60-75 minutes. I typically get through a day+ with a battery.

I know that many folks have defective Hoppers. No doubt there is an unusually high rate of failure...and particularly amongst older units. That said, it seems possible that newbie Hopper owners get super stoned super quickly with their Hoppers...then nitpick and post about every detail of the device....whether their GH is actually performing correctly or not. It isn't like many of you haven't had over a year to read the instruction manual! :) At this juncture...the GH is my holy grail vape...my sole device....my daily driver...and I do not desire a desktop or complimentary portable device. I have an additional SS which should arrive this week providing me a backup from (what seems) my inevitable GH failure. I also still have my original pre-order awaiting shipment from Hopper Labs. I'm a huge fan of this device.

While I have no issues with the varying ways that folks will inevitably use their hoppers, I can't help but think that it was not intended to be kept on temperature setting 5 and ripped continuously through a glass water pipe.....changing batteries every few rips....while passing it around ad nauseum. I personally haven't pulled a bong hit in nearly 25 years and have no desire to do so. If I desired this type of session use...I would purchase a quality desktop vaporizer...and use it as intended. I do not desire this type of use....thus I purchased a GH. Again...I'm not denigrating other GH owners for their methods of use...but a tiny, quick, stealthy, powerful, and highly portable pen vape is not imo intended to be used (continuously) through glass. Respectfully....I don't really want to hear any arguments on this topic....there are no valid arguments to be made.

The GH is an electronic one hitter that really works marvelously. A small amount of loose material in the chamber provides several quality rips...much more than a similar amount packed into a real combustible one hitter.

The GH is what it is...and does 'it' very well. For light users....a pinch in the GH will go a LONG way and provide feedback that is VERY similar to combustion (lung busting rips, clouds, heat etc). For heavy users....a more plentiful and frequent pack...and possibly temp stepping...should make even the most temperamental stoner happy.

Thanks for the great reply even though I am STILL waiting for mine I would agree with everything you have commented about. I dont intend to put down Vaporshop because the quick and professional replies from them point in the good service book but damn I wish I had been able to select a better mailing option then the snail mail they have given me with NO other option very unprofessional in that regard (i would have gladly paid more for a quicker delivery)

[GEAR SHOT] - I also picked up that loading funnel from delta3d which i find very useful. However, my Dreamer Grinder includes its own cone/funnel which i also use to fill up joint cones, etc. Not only that, all the pieces are magnetic and it can store a few g's ungrinded as well. I use the GoldDrop container for flowers, it doesnt just snap but you have to also line up the lid marks. $9 iDream pouch from amazon.

Some initial impressions - Stealthy! The vapor production is very solid, although a bit UNDERwhelming from what i was expecting. I love the unit still, its very durable and solid as well, but i am used to the vapor production of my sublimator which i havent found any other unit that can match it, period. That being said, i agree with many others in this forum that it is primarily a portable vape but does have applications in small home group settings too, mostly because its just so easy to use. I think most aspects have already been covered regarding this vape but if anyone wants any additional opinions esp. with regards to how it compares to my sublimator then i can give some deets. I will come up with a more detailed report when i get some more use out of it.

I too ordered from VapoShop ... placed my order on June 3. I then purchased one of the Ebay SS from Houston and received it after 3 days. It has made my wait for the VapoShop order much much much easier. I expect that we will both receive our VapoShop orders this week. I hope that you have a problem free GH. My SS has been superb. I still marvel at the device each and every time that I pick it up.

It seems that many folks have issues with their GH's and certainly some of the reviewers were less than impressed with the device. My GH works exactly as Hopper Labs said that it would and has surpassed all of my expectations. For my lifestyle and use....this thing is a HUGE game changer....and provides me the freedom and ability for a quick pull when it had previously been too much trouble to do so.

Anyway, my Hopper has been really good to me. Conserves herb nicely too. So great to get lifted anywhere and at anytime with a device that looks and feels sexy as f**k as well.

Well put! I simply cannot believe the vapor and quantity of pulls that I can get from a microload in the GH. Of course the first pulls are tastier than the last....but wow....this thing puts out! And yes....the device is sexy as hell....feels so good in the hand....and is brilliantly constructed.

Edit: I see that my VapoShop order is likely to deliver tomorrow (it is at my local post office now). Certainly by Tuesday at the latest.

Believe me, I too wish we were able to provide a faster (more expensive) option for US customers. But please know that we were a bit overwhelmed by the amount of GH orders after posts on here and on Reddit. We primarily serve the EU market (and offer fast - free - express shipping to most European countries), but we don't handle large amounts of orders to the US and so our current contracts with shipping agents don't include a faster option. With all these orders coming in we figured the best thing is to inform people as good as possible about the shipping time. Thank you for your patience.

I'm sorry to hear you've not received a tracking code. Feel free to PM me with your order number so I can look into this for you.

Speaking as a customer in the UK, I am extremely impressed with how fast I received my GH a couple of weeks ago. Very impressed with VapoShop!! For all customers in the US, rest assured VapoShop has done everything in their power to get the GH's sent out in a timely fashion. The fact is, they've got an entire ocean to cross! Stay patient though guys - this company is one to be trusted and I must say I'm very impressed by their presence on this site. It's a rare thing to have customer service like this. Let's all just appreciate it.

Question for Vaposhop: I'm not trying to change the subject from GH, but I'm sure I'm not the only one on here that's curious about when you'll be receiving your first order of FF2's. Your website states that the FF2 will be available in July -- is that still accurate? UK retailers are telling us "late summer" but that could be early August or even late September. Any update at all would be most appreciated for all of the European customers on this site.

Thank you for being a perfect model for good business practice!

Just for the record...my VapoShop GH is scheduled to deliver to me today here in the US. I'd anticipated a 2 week +/- shipment and I have no complaints with my interaction, service, and delivery schedule. I ordered on June 2, my GH shipped on June 7, and delivery is expected today. I understood that VapoShop is primarily an EU retailer and I am pleased that they were willing to ship to the US.

I am near the center of the US. It is ironic that my GH was manufactured right here...then shipped to the Netherlands....and is now shipping back to the center of the US. Ya gotta do what you gotta do :)

Thanks for the kind words guys, that is lovely to hear on this rainy Monday morning!

I understand your anticipation :) I hope to have a solid answer on that this week. Unfortunately there's been quite a few delays, and I cannot guarantee (but am still hoping for it!) that we will carry the Firefly 2 in July. Should it be postponed again then we will definitely update our website. It looks we'll be able to offer the FF2 as first online store (in Europe), so that can explain the difference in release date with other vendors. Please keep a close eye on the product page and our newsletter to be kept up to date - once we have a date of arrival we'll likely start taking pre-orders. Of course you can always shoot us a PM on here too (to prevent further off topic talk!)

When a grasshopper has a hot back end, does swapping ends of the battery in the hopper have any positive effect? Could battery chemistry be a root cause of this issue, where one end of the battery heats up when it's closest to the back end?

Well, after 4 failed front ends and 2 failed chargers, my Hopper days are over. I cannot take any more warranty claims in such a short space of time and have returned mine to Vapefiend for a store credit. I will be giving the Cloud Evo and Turbine HT a go instead.

It's a real shame as I love the Hopper, but until they sort the reliability issues out i'm gonna abstain.

That's a shame but seems very understandable to me. I'm rather a one trick pony on the subject of vapes needing to be developed and produced like a mainstream appliance and that user's are entitled to that expectation.

Part of that is certainly reliability and durability.

My hopper came this past Saturday (I was a March '15 preorder) and the wait was well worth it. So far, the temp of the unit during use at higher temperature settings gives me a bit of concern (like others have mentioned) but I assumed that when I originally ordered my hopper. Fingers crossed I don't run into QC issues like many of you have. This is definitely my new preferred portable.

Here's a quick milk video I recorded the other day.

Perhaps this question should be in the warranty thread but not sure if anyone actually views it...

Anyone have any experience with HL sending a new back end due to warranty? I would imagine it has a diff serial number? How do we keep it registered for future warranty?

Also Caroline said to hold on to the old part until I know it's fixed...wondering what others have done in this situation?

Good news is with the warranty process they were extremely quick and willing to send me a new part...

Hopefully this will do the trick as the hopper is sumpin special..;)

Thx FC'ers!

I am just starting my warranty experience, but hope it doesn't go like this. Some others reported their devices were sent back from HL and not repaired. I will have to keep an eye. I will absolutely refuse to pay shipping if they screwed up a warranty claim.

I wish they would send me the parts and allow me to fix it myself. I don't trust their assemblers.

On another note where are these other threads? Anyone else having trouble finding them? Maybe no one uses the shipping and warranty thread bc they can't find it or know it is there.
