This could be used like a session vape, you just need to turn it off in between hits. Having said that a friend liked my Inhalater, but didn't like that he couldn't just turn it on, have a draw, and shut it off. I'm really looking forward to the GH for that. I have enough session vapes to last me a few days...
How long did it take to get to you after ordering?Got my water tool adapter today, can't wait to use it with my gh
PS: bought from sunshinestore @dhgate

I do believe you will find it can be a very nice session vaporizer... IMO the design is very capable of delivering session type performance with little effort.... the challenge as it will always be with a convection vaporizer is that gosh darn heat...... so although I would agree all that on and off business is a pain at the moment it is what it is..... so perhaps all we really need is a better timing method... or we could as you suggested.. just go back to a mechanical control {button} but I think that's been played out....and it requires user concentration when it's the 1st thing to leave....LOLmaybe to session with yourself or another person, but im talking about passing it around to multiple people and not having to turn it off. this vape is not designed for that.
i also have other session vapes, but none that are this small and in this form factor. id like a vape like this that can do BOTH session or quickly medicate. surely this can be done.
im not saying the current grasshopper isnt a nice vape. clearly it is. just that i would like to see them build upon that with a larger unit meant for real sessions.
not to mention an 18650 will last a lot longer than the GH current cell. i do not feel that something like a mechanical mod is too large. perfect IMO.
This brings back some really good memories from a few summers ago when I learned about FC and preordered my first vape (a faulty DaVinci Ascent). I hope this is a better situation for consumers when it's finally out en masse.New and cant wait. Thanks for all the good reading material.
Does everyone remember Buzz's 1st video testing the gh with his roommate? They pretty consistently forgot to shut it off between pulls and went through several ovens. That looked like a session to me!I do believe you will find it can be a very nice session vaporizer... I'd love to see a timer on the inhalation duration..... this way we could control how long the heater will be allowed to provide us with the convectional heat needed but then at a determined time the heater cuts out....this way the remaining heat can be drawn from the entire device as a whole and that evacuation heat I will call it....will be used to further mix and expand our inhalation cloud....
Once each user finds or develops a way or method to deal with the eventual "Too Hot to Handle" issue we will have no problem using it as a session vaporizer..... for now I quick click off about 2/3rds of the way through your inhalation should do wonders.....

@2clicker Have you looked at the Zion for an 18650 session vape? It looks like it would work great for a party, provided it doesn't get dropped.
As far as I know, grasshoppers are almost always bigger than cricketsake a larger grasshopper... maybe name it the cricket lol

Wow....thank you so much that was very informative...and nothing what I thought it was gonna be like on the inside..... so basically the vapor path is going to be the inside of that 1st cone... I can totally see that getting clogged on a regular basis with heavy usage....and not easily reclaimed without involving a solvent.....
BTW... I grew up in Michigan....downriver area..... thanks again for the post....

I didn't get the Grasshopper for a session vape - more for a one hitter alternative. However, aside from volume in the oven - couldn't an easy way to address the heat of the metal problem just get a couple of inches of silicone tubing large enough to be a sleeve (maybe sliced down the middle for easy on and off) in the middle - silicon at the tip and between the fingers... poof - Grasshopper "session" vape?
Hmm. It's exactly the opposite here. I have seen grasshoppers nearly as small as the crickets we have here, but I've never seen a cricket even nearly as big as our regular sized grasshoppers Edit: Also, our crickets and roaches are about the same size, but the grasshoppers are generally almost twice their size.not here in STL. the grasshoppers are green and small. crickets are black and get as larges as cock roaches. you may run across a grasshopper that is as large as the crickets, but i hardly ever see them.
Another 'Hopper is now up on EBay.]
How much will the next sucker pay for this one? $400+ for the last one...

i just compared the 2 listings. the second seller merely copy and pasted from the first listing... BUT they left in the part about "One small disclosure, the unit arrived with some very minor cosmetic surface scuffs, which I've tried to show in the photos," ...which i find sketchy since the new listing only has one (blurry) photo...Or maybe the seller is hoping for similar auction results?
I really think the "scratches" only applies to the first listing. The second one likely isn't scratched since talk of being scratched is copy and pasted from the first eBay listing...Anyone on here have their hopper show up with scratches like these? I understand stainless scratches but I feel it should arrive fairly clean, then I will commence scratching.
