Finally I have a Hopper but I do have one big problem already it just arrived and I have to go to work without trying it. This may be the longest 8 hours of my life. I have a question to all the experienced users. Should the Hopper be left mouthpiece down or up after use. I would have thought tip down so any residue would go to the tip and not the heater but I seem to recall someone saying not to leave it tip down. Don't want to screw it up now that I finally have it.
Ah those last 8 hours are the WORST! hehe, you'll survive though
I leave my horizontal, however I've never had a huge build up of resin. I did grab a spare mouthpiece so I could rotate them between a jar of ISO and the hopper so I keep them fairly well maintained.

@Mr. Me2 said, we need more data.
I know people gonna be upset but I waited 3 days for my hopper. An got two batteries and shipping for total 185. Testing tonight can't wait, but def heats up so far functioning great
Nope, not upset here. Actually I'm delighted to see HL improving their service and shipping. When they started up their blog and began communicating more at the beginning of January it felt like the company were beginning to get a grip on things.
Seeing posts like yours is encouraging and I'm now keen to ascertain the stability of the new shipments.
I'm still seeing a few posts about warranty returns but not as many as I was expecting, it's circumstantial evidence at best but it's all I have to speculate on and I'm speculating that HL's product and service is improving.
I have HIGH hopes for the future
.
So i have a Problem with my TI Hopper, which is my 2nd and quite new.
If i use it through water, the Performance seems to be weaker than before and the Batterie dies pretty fast.
This would just say buy a new Battery to me, but when i pull, the blue lights flicker or get darker / brighter which seems to be related to how hard i pull.
I tried to clean the screws and i m not sure what the Lights mean.
Thanks in Advance for your Tips and knowledge :-)
I only get one really decent 15 second draw on T5 through my Orbiter using an 8 month old GHB1.
For me running the GH through water means:
- One tends to run it at a higher temp
- One tends to draw harder forcing the heater to work harder
This means the battery is getting battered (more than you are
). Also I tend to do one large hit with the hopper every 2 hours or so through water which means each time the hopper is starting from cold requiring yet more energy to get up to temp.
I've given up paying attention to the blue flickery lights, there just doesn't seem to be a discernible pattern to their behaviour.
It is possible your battery is fading but don't forget 750mAh (550-600 in reality) isn't a lot to play with.
When at home vaping through the MFLB I leave my weakest battery in the Hopper and have the thing permanently tethered by the OEM charger to the mains. It works really well for me.
If only Hopper Labs could release a proper high watt power supply that powered the heater directly and bypassed the need for batteries. Come on Matt/Trevor, you know you want to
So if,you do not have a special urge to buy a new (desktop vape) and you already have a sort of back up for your gh... I would maybe wait until the milog ismavailable so you can choose your wood and so on and have sometving custom made for you in your posession... but if you do not have a back up I can recommend you a e-nano or HI (but you will have to wait for one year -》waiting list) it is a really great vape...
All good suggestion bud, I have absolutely no need to get another vape, plenty of spares kicking about. But VAS will make me (I am weak
), which is why I'm fully prepared to wait and get a really nice custom job done. It's going to take me a long time to settle on a design I want as well so I'm in no rush.
@Baron23,
@MoltenTiger and
@biohacker I find it amazing that a portable like the Hopper could even compare to the power of a desktop like the EVO. I feel completely and utterly spoilt and love the direction these vapes are heading in.
WISH LIST MOMENT!!!!
- High watt battery bypassing powersupply
- Some kind of on the go capsule/bullet loading mechanism (maybe a V2 that slightly larger to accommodate such a system)
- A custom wood case like the DynaStash but for my Hopper (could get 3rd party to do this)
- An oils/wax front end (hopefully coming down the road)
- A water pipe adapter (I've heard rumors )
- Adamantium option or unobtainium option
- Micro Tokamak fusion generator or Zero Point Module
