I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, its very late where I am and I can't dedicate the time to read through 17 pages.
I really think there needs to be an upgrade program from the FF1 like Haze has done. The FF1 has a hefty price tag. Its only been about 2 years since the first model came out. I have gone through 3 replacements and my 3rd broke after a month and I know I'm not alone here on that. I really like the FF1 when it works but I'm tired of mailing it in. Also my latest unit made a popping noise when I was inhaling through it and I got a taste of burnt electronics. That one did this after a month of casual use since I have many other vapes. I really want the FF2 but I'm not shelling out $280+ for it because of my experience with the FF1.
But have you looked at the ff2 thread under Upcoming and Unreleased? Looks like version 2 addressed all of the issues with ff1I agree with Tickdickler slcbdco, the FF1 sucks. I just can't seem to love mine.
Great to here all these actual grasshopper use posts! This post is a mistake, but just to give the doomsayers a little perspective. The products that Grasshopper, Firefly and Storz are making are incredible, and that sometimes comes with reliability issues. That said my two Grasshoppers have been going strong for months now. And unlike my firefly that also had its fair share of time in the warranty envelope, I actually use my grasshopper! Speaking of which time get all hopped up!
FF2 may be as good as Hopper in terms of vapor taste, maybe even better. as steel cooling plate is changed by a glass one, as i understand. But have you looked at the ff2 thread under Upcoming and Unreleased? Looks like version 2 addressed all of the issues with ff1
@JJ420 if that wasn't a response to something that actually happened on the floor today, then you are psychic! Otherwise, nice current events reference.
Oh, it was yesterday actually.

what if you bought an extra silicone mouthpiece? you could cut a tip from this one off, so it fits your glass piece. then you didn't have to hold Hopper and glass together while vaping.Still working like a charm...
EDITED TO GLOAT: Man, the flavor. The flavor! I start at 3.1415 (just playin. Around 3.5) and end at around 4. Fantastic floral hits for the first 3 rips and then get maybe 2 from higher temps.

Great idea ! Although I like carrying it as two pieces for stealth/comfort reasons. I think it's a bit long to carry in one pocket.

that silicone piece is from which vaporizer? FireWood?
Yeah the Firewood, it is the mouthpiece.that silicone piece is from which vaporizer? FireWood?
too bad that FireWood is out of stock @ their online shop. any chance that this rubber also fits ArizerSolo stems? i'm kinda addicted to those glass straws. having quite a collection of them. gonna want to merge all those stems and bubblers with GH sooner or latter. for sure.Yeah the Firewood, it is the mouthpiece.

so at the moment my plan is to cut of the very tip of the Hopper's silicone piece. as much as needed for Arizer's glass to sit in tight. any chance that FireWood rubber fits without cutting? maybe any other manufacturer's rubber fits as connection of those two?
i would appreciate any other suggestions how to hook up Hopper with Arizer's glassware in civilized fashion. ghetto style duct tape solution no bueno, IMO. that looks very no classy.
