Why is the bearded guy vaping an empty bowl? Bearded guys are typically smarter than to smoke hot air.
That would be because the Firefly company are just into image and bullshit. They shitty little Firefly2 only works when everything is perfect, but the crazy thing is that even though I paid 400 bucks for it, and I'm prepared to dismantle it to clean it, they refuse to sell me the little flat washers that go on either side of the bottom plate.
I can't believe that first they put a new light pattern design now they advertise better airflow. Not for long because it clogs up pretty fast, and in fact it's entirely useless for concentrates, unless you are prepared to completely dismantle it, which I am.
There's a lot more wrong with it, I liked it at first until I realised what a complete pain in the ass it is. Not only that but it doesn't even work, the algorithm that decides when it's going to turn on the element and for how long is idiotic. It requires 20 second hits and then it overheats pretty fast.
These are the washers I'm talking about. They tried to compare their Firefly2 to an iPhone and because Apple won't supply internal components for their phone so it's really exactly the same thing with Firefly, their 5c flat washers are too technical for me to understand. They did say that they were really very sad that they were unable to supply me a washer like every other fucking quality vape company does.
Here's what the FireFly looks like if you try to use concentrates and their supplied steel pads...
Oh btw see how it's all burned like that inside, that's how your one will be too if you ever took the company advice which they tell everyone to put the FF on full 500F and do a "burn off" (lol) which actually does fuck all and once you open it up and work it out you'll see why.
there's no way to properly check the holes and clean them let alone clean out all the oil that will inevitably build up, unless you dismantle and clean properly. BUT the firefly company simply point blank refuses to help or assist in any way. It's probably illegal not so supply a part like a washer that will wear out and is a proprietary size, on a $400 item, but I simply would be happy if they did the right thing.
The only reason I can think of for them to be so intransigent on this issue is to keep up the bafflegab and bullshit while people who are unsure get suckered into their advertising. I can see that I'm probably going to have to be able to bypass the circuit board at some time in the future and control the heating element manually. I guess that day will come when the flaky side capacitor buttons stop working.
