i have owned a box vape (shaped like a pyramid) i wasn't fond of, and a heat element vape i hated. the volcano changed my opinion on vaporizers. but i was bong ripping until i could afford one (then i found the extreme)
but i've been smoking weed consistently since i was 17 (5 years ago) and bongs have been my favorite way to smoke since i got my first one.

plus when i have company i'd rather have a bong sesh

Has anyone tried making their own bags with the Extreme, like some people do with the Volcano? Like those turkey baster bags or whatever..... ~3 minutes is a long time to wait for one bag.... I guess I am just impatient though.

i haven't made my own bag. I use this machine daily, and up until today never even tried the whip on it!
i tried it at the first fan speed which was fun, but lung power draws i found provided more favor than using the fan or the bag. I am still all about the bags though, I stumbled across the lego head cap idea I might use.
Also is it proven the residue/oil in the tube is potent and going to get me blazed, if so i'll let it build up and start collecting.

after experimenting with temps, i decided to go back to my old setting i was using before i started trying new things, which is 210-215. some of my herb is drier than others so i have used 200 and had great effects. I bust my tree with an electric toast master grinder, which i've had for 4 years. the really dry stuff goes to powder which i don't like for vaping, but i have stuff with a fresher feel which will bust to a fluffy mixture which i find works the best.

however as cool as it is, the vaporizer's efficiency itself is the biggest issue, i would assume it works as well as any other vapebox, but i can't say forsure.

also keif buckets are another thing i often expose myself to i have the air gravitron for that purpose.

I've made my own bags before, when you cut new bags you can just tie the top, any vapor lost due to leakage is insignificant.

That airgravitron is bad ass! I figured out how to make one for myself with a empty milk carton and rubber cement and gravity vapor hits are a fun novelty, but I don't think it got me any higher than usual. It's fun to do for the hell of it, and my buddies got a kick out of it, but it didn't seem to effect vapor the same way it effects smoke. I remember when i took gravity hits the conventional way, i felt like I was in another dimension. With this, the vapor was super thick, but I don't think your body absorbs it the same way as smoke, which is why I didn't get as much bang for the buck vaping via gravity bong...

I also experimented with whip in bong action today, with and without fans. i decided the way to get thick vapor from the whip for me is to start with the first fan speed and little lung power and then just lung. i put an o-ring (the black ring) over the end of the glass piece on the whip (not mouth piece) and it going into the stem of my bong perfectly and i get good hits.the bong is also quite new and unused so the glass piece from the whip will stay clean hopefully.
also a rubber band around the glass if put on right should help fit the whip for a bong.

One cool thing is Arizer should make thicker aftermarket whips and joints, for huge volume hits on a RooR bong and stuff. I wouldn't pay money for a gravity bong... you can make a legit one for free.

i've made plenty of them, but i wanted an all glass one that i wouldn't need to replace weekly (changing bottles). plus, i got it when i bought a bong and got a deal on it.

i noticed the elbow joints didn't fit into my glass on glass bong which eliminated my idea of taking an elbow joint and using a mouth piece to connect it to the of the whip and placing that in the bong where your bowl sits.

the extreme uses 18.8 mm joints, you probably got a 14.5 mm joint on your bong, you can get an adapter fo that if you want or you can get a piece that goes on the end of the whip

with a bong that has 18.8, you can do it exactly like you said, using the short whip to go straight into the bong joint

^ yea i assumed that. 14.5 is the more common size is it not?

i also rigged my bag up in the same fashion as the whip to bong toke that.

i don't plan on buying another bong until next year (of course that is subject to change) and i will look into the 18.8mm but for now the method i am using works great.

i do find direct hits are better than the bong hits for thickness when using the whip though.

Hey how about some one ask arizer to make some 18.8mm glass cap's for the whip joints to seal off any debris that can get in them when not in use? Id buy some if they made them. And a cap for the bowl itself so you can leave the bowl on the vape while hot and not lose any vapor without the whip being on there.
Or does anyone know if RooR makes something like that or any other bong maker that uses 18.8 mm connections? Please tell me!

Also does anyone with a volcano or extreme clean their bags? If anyone, please share how.

What's up!

I just bought an Extreme. It works great but I'm kind of disappointed with the type high: too body stoned. I've tested it 3 times (whip and balloon), I did get really high but it was a down inactive body high. My gf, who is a non-smoker, also thought the high was couchlock, powerful and trippy. We hit normal vapor (200) (3rd generation extreme), not too thick or light, but the high wasn't very uppy and cerebral. Anyway, I preferred smoking a few joints today!!! The joint high is more energetic for me.
Maybe it's because my herb is bag seed and isn't quite finished curing in the jars (when I smoke it it burns well and has a good high to it!). How can I change the type of high I'm getting? All posts seem to show that vaporizers give a lighter, heady high when I get a heavy, trippy body high. Will the highs be better after a few more sessions when body/head used to this? I vaporized at different temps, 225-230 was like smoking! What type of high do you get with medium type of herb. Thanks. Extreme works perfect. Maybe it's my herb. I might sell it if I can't get fun, energetic highs with it! Help!

try a lower temp, maybe around 180ish, it sounds like you got a hot model

vaporizers wont make an indica feel like a sativa would, if thats what you expected that might be too high expectations

No but I was expecting a less couchlock high as I had read that a lot. Maybe I'm not used to the vaporizer. I just vaped again and it's good for now . I'll try lower temps thanks (180). Anyone have a couchlock high with vaporizers? Does this happen if you vape too high? Sorry I'm a vapor nube, new in forum.

It's definitly your strain. I get both stoned and high with my Northern Lights if i smoke or vape, but it's always more intense when i vape. Too me the high is always better when i vape, i usually always vape at the ful 250c. Ive got some HG blueberry im gonna try at a lower temp cause its is more of a heady than anything, Probably today.

ok thanks ncstasy. Yeah I figured it was probably the weed. The last time I vapored it was good. I used 200 and it worked fine. It is pretty intense. Any recommended strains for the vaporizer: it would be for next year though, outdoors. (do sativas vaporize better than indicas?).

What do you mean per flavor? I read you guys mix the mj with other herbs to give it a less popcorn taste. Is that any good? I got the general idea though: different herbs, different highs, ok! I guess I should have grown a sativa! Next year. How's the White Widow in the vape? And a haze?

Any dank shit in a vape is absolutely flawless!
I would know i have some organic water cured northern lights and some organic water cured blueberry.

Oh and the northern lights in the vape tastes like a field of flowers, amazing and remeber this was water cured and the taste was still salvaged!

I have never gotten hang of the temperatures with the vape myself.... A lot of ppl on this forum act like they have and i want to learn! I don't know what temp is good for high, i usually always go all the way to 250c. I wish i knew what temps released what chemicals, but that is a little crazy. If someone knows the secret to the TEMP PLEASE SHARE WITH US!

I can't wait to try some of this jack herer in this thing, and maybe some white widow in a few months..

If i were you (raspoutine) i would grow a nice durban poison or some diesel strain, if you want a sativa that should be your first pick.

The joint high is more energetic for me.

The strain definitely makes a difference. But using the same stuff, smoking vs. vaping, you should get more of a couchlock high from smoking. Compounds you get with high vaping temps, and especially with combustion, are directly related to making you drowsy and sleepy. The biggest diffference I noticed in my first vaping session was the more energetic high I got with vapor.

You are in for a real treat, word to the wise, use a shitty strain/duff to roll around in the oil. There is no point in wasting good weed when the oil turns shwag/duff into some bomb diggity. I mean the material can be almost black and it still releases quality vapor.

I remember reading back someone vaporizing during the day with the morning sun shining in. He noticed how much thicker the vapor appeared in the sunlight. I also noticed the same thing under different circumstances, it was in my room with the lights off and my bedside lamp on shining directly at the 90 degree elbow. You will see a stream of vapor coming out and that should be a good gauge for finding your ideal temp.
