Folks, in case you are just tuning in, I recently found out I put forward a wrong address for FCs own @DDave 's online shop, www.DDaveMods.com. I knew this, and I knew this well, and DDave deserves the good old double check, and all I can do now is apologize, and plead that DDave is partly to blame for such great mods, that combined with cannabis and the Arizer Extreme Q renders me forgetful and thoughtless. It's the man's avocation, passion and service to us all, and he deserves better, and you deserve better, than me not making triple sure of the address. Anybody here have both a Volcano (classic or whatever is fine) and also an EQ with DDave? Or have extensive experience with both? I gotta say i kinda want a Volcano but maybe this DDave EQ is just as good.
Also i keep looking at the Plenty desktop vape, i really love the Crafty lately and if its Similar to a plug-in Crafty or as good as SSV i might be interested.
Now that i got an enail bho setup that im good with (banger with rdk300 coil, thanks @710Coils !)
Crafty vapor is just so high quality. Same with Mighty and every S+B vape ive tried, even if theyre kinda overpriced)

I am considering the EQ but am trying to figure out the best setup for the unit.
My usual vape spot is my power recliner sofa with ms solo and am thinking I may need the 6 or 9 foot whip.
Anyone using these longer whips,does the length degrade the Vapor and how do they clean?

I'm about half way through this thread so far, and there is no mention of people preferring longer whips.
Most people usually recommend shortening the stock 36" down to as short as possible. Often 12" - 24" seems to be preferred.
The strongest observation is that, the longer the whip, the more drag there is.
So a 6 to 9 foot whip may incur significant drag increases.

I don't have a Volcano, and would eventually like to get one, but they are a bit pricey at about $500 - $600. You can generally find the Arizer Extreme Q for $149. You can get both the Arizer EQ and the Plenty ($249), and the largest @DDave kit from www.DDaveMods.com, and still have change left over for the cost of the least expensive Volcano. Or you can get 3 - 4 Arizer Extreme Q for the cost of a Volcano. Is it 3 to 4 times better?
I do have a Silver Surfer, and a Super Surfer, love them both, and the Arizer Extreme Q with DDave love hits as hard as either of those, IMHO. I'm sure someone will come along to compare with the Volcano directly, but for my money, I'm not there yet. Too much other stuff to buy, such as the Plenty.

Haven't been hanging around FC for a few years. Longtime owner of a V-Tower. Damn, I was so happy with it but now I can see that I'm going to need a few @DDave parts from www.DDaveMods.com. Is Vaporizer Parts Acquisition Syndrome just a milder form of VAS ?
Replaced about a year ago when an inebriated friend tripped over the power wire and dove the Tower onto the floor at 180 degrees from upright while hot. Drove that cyclone bowl on so hard I never did get it off (without breaking it) but the Tower was toast anyways. I probably had that one for about 4 years or so, no problems up until then.

So after a week or two of playing around with different set ups and combinations of DDave's parts I would compare the super easy drawing aspect of using the 18mm tube with either bowl (original or tall model) to opening up the carburetor jets and putting shotgun pipes on a motorcycle. Vast performance improvement. Still plenty of experimentation to go but so far a very worthy investment. Taught my "old dog" V-Tower a few new tricks.
I'm loving the Carburetor Jets analogy! (Not as much as hearing that you're enjoying the mods, but close!)
Next addition planned will be an improvement to the Forced Induction System (bags) of the EQ.... Stay tuned!
Hello guys! I was here in FC like 2 or 3 years ago as a regular with the OG flowermate V5. I used it like 2 years, it broke and I got a Flowermate Swift, it was completely awful, tasted well but almost no vapor, broke in like 2 months, utter trash of a vaporizer. I returned it and scored an open box Flowermate V5s. I’m costarican so I need to account for import taxes and shipping of every product, I don’t have the cash to keep changing vapes or buying expensive ones like a Mighty.
Then I got an ArGo in january, oh god that thing completely changed the game. I love how much vapor it produces, the taste and how many hits I can take from it. Efficiency wise isn’t as good as I thought but it’s in another level from the Flowermates. Like 2 weeks ago I lended it to my girlfriend, she was robbed walking to my home and the ArGo (and some of her peace of mind, more importantly) was lost
Now I don’t have much money, but I want to get another vape since I can’t stand smoking anymore, I mean its “fine”, but I feel like I waste so much bud combusting it and the high feels cheap.. Anyway thing is I don’t know what to do.
I see the Extreme Q over puffitup at 140$, which seems like an awesome deal, the V Tower is 105$. With the BOGO promo, the Extreme Q is 200$ and the V Tower 140$, but both would come with an OG Air, which I could sell for around 60$. Can I have a recommendation of what to get? Are the features of the Q really that much worth over those of the V Tower? Should I shell money on the Arizer site or would the PiU price be better? I have never had a desktop vape, and I’m scared that I get one and the difference from using a Desktop to something like an ArGo or Davinci IQ isn’t that much. Any help is appreciated! I love reading this site, everyone is freaking awesome!
