I love your comments!Got it!! Yeah, I'm dancing up a storm!!!
First impression: thick glass on the wands, a good sign.
Back later with a report on how it works.
You make me envious!Hitting the Q with the medium @DDave adapter, set at my fave temp of 207!
It is the perfect temp for me to pack a third of a basket, tamp it down and do a super thicj, one hit extraction! Do this i a few times and get really medicated!
7 Strains to choose from and two types of shatter and some ISO oil to choose from!
Decisions, decisions...
Super crystally Pink Kush it is!
Let that sucker percolate for a bit and hit it!
Oh Yeah!!! That's why pharma can go get lost!
A review on the kit will be forthcoming.. not too soon though as there are lots of combos to try and report on!! And i am a lightweight... still after more than 20 years...LMAO!!! My arms are numb...
Gonna go fly my sim now!
So @Dr. Soxhlet what kit did you end up getting? I read 'wands', So I thought you got the full kit. Looking forward to hearing your report as a veteran EQer.Got it!! Yeah, I'm dancing up a storm!!!

Read 3x. Not sure if you are with me at a certain point or not. But yes this setup helps with the kinking/folding issue.Mentally, I'll draw you one and @CuckFumbustion can step in and correct me if I'm wrong.
He's placed an additional glass adapter at the top of the wand section of the whip. as the top of the wand is not Ground Glass, the adapter sits atop the wand and avoids the kinking hose issue. The whip tube goes through this and gains a bit of support (at a slight angle).
I need this verified by The CFRLB, of course...
I have another suggestion on this...using the clamp included in my kits.
With the clamp attached to the top of the wand, affix the tubing in a large, arc over the top. Attach to the back of the clamp (for now, with a tie wrap, until I devise another method). The tubing would end up facing straight down and not kinking regardless of your whip configuration. Pics to follow...

Thanks for the detailed review @Dr. Soxhlet !Waited till today, way too medicated(sleepy) last night-a nice Blueberry/Sour Tsunami blend did the trick.
Tried the full kit out using the various configurations.
I always used the elbow pack because the cyclone bowl never worked right.
Not so with this setup. With either the 14/18 and mini wand or the 18/18 with standard wand this worked very well. So well I only did the elbow pack one time. Easy to load and dump the Ddave adapter(thanks to the included glass tongs).
Of course my EQ is not stock though. My emergency repair stayed that way(see explanation below), so the F/F adapters are higher on the heater than stock. I had been running the EQ at 464F with the SSV wand and product placed above the domed screen. I was able to use it at 410F without packing the domed screen with either of the new set ups. Soon, I will get the right part and go back to a stock heater cover.
I should mention I bought several F/F adapters, but the ones with this kit are smaller, so it gets the weed a little closer to the heater.
The standard wand is a little shorter than an SSV wand and probably benefits from the "open throat" design. The mini wand is really tiny and uses a tiny bit of product if only the domed screen is packed.
These kits are worth the money, the full kit will give you a lot more vaping options.
Thanks Ddave.
I never got much of a result with the cyclone bowl. With the weed flying about, it never seemed to me that the extraction ever got going. The short adapter keeps the weed in place, so it extracts better. Thanks for the detailed review @Dr. Soxhlet !
Glad to hear the kit is working well for you!
My first goal was efficient, and with the short adapter, hard-hitting extractions. My second was ease of use. (Flavor came later with the tall adapters.) Am a bit of a lazy @#$%^ when it comes to vaping and don't want to fuss around once loaded and vaping.
You'll also notice your basket screens will stay a bit cleaner if your using the mod by loading the adapters... Not dissuading any who like the wand-packing method, just pointing out a benefit of adapter loads.
Thanks again!

Glad you got with the full kit and able to try more of this and that. Hope to hear more of what you were able to come up with on your own.
I do have a question about your modded EQ. ***Emergency EQ Heater Cover Repair***
F/F adapters setting higher? Do you use a different glass heater? I've read about that somewhere. Upgrading the glass heater from stock.
Then theirs this from EQ. I would actually like the F/F being higher and a heater upgrade with refined glass. If I was going to the trouble like you did.
All 3 nice articles at your sig. Plus the Soxlet extractor
Extreme Q / V-Tower Glass Heater Cover (New Model)
Not sure other than half the size of materials. I have seen another type they EQ offered before. More of a tube shape. If I remember correctly. But your custom M/M adapter will be another template I can consider. The heater is the same. I just replaced the original cover with a M/M adapter that came with the D020 bubbler. I don't know if this has any effect on the heat level. It definately will not break as easy. I find you will knock the whole unit over before it breaks.
Interesting that Arizer came up with a newer model heater cover.
Wonder what the difference is!

That seems to be the weak link in the system. I've known people to just throw the whole unit away after breaking the cover. What a shame!!
I just had the most powerful session know to experts in vaporizing! The WT i am using sits lower than my EQ, so my tube kinks near the bowl.
This is perfect for me as it allows me to easily preheat the load and keep all the goodies circulating near the top.
Lift the WT and the kinks straightens out and VOILA instant vapour!

Yes, not packing the screen keeps them clean.
That is one reason I also like the SSV wand with the weed "between" the two screens.
