Very nice video. Now please report to the "Bump this thread" aisle…

Q1: That's the D020-D, correct?
Q2: If so, is that a WonG or the straight up Eds AA stem?

A few thing to share:
its not the best fit for the the oven. Rocks a little
If by, "Rocks a little," you mean the "bowl" end is loose in the oven, that's a good thing.
If you rock the Unit on the WonG while you're drawing from it, it will let pockets of air in which can in turn runs through your material and forms vapor. Not just twisting it but actually rocking it slightly.

will get stuck in joint.
Looks like you're using a flush adapter.
Here's what I do when using my 14mm WonG with my 18mm glass connection:
take the adapter and fit it snug on your WonG. Don't twist, just press. It's wood, it till be ok.
Then, take some Teflon tape and put a couple rounds on your adapter and connect to WP. Should be nothing wobbly and will be smooth action when clearing.
Also, for the open airflow on the WonG, draw slower as the WP you're using in the video has a lot of diffusion combined with the WonGs open airflow will overwhelm the heater and drop temp. I tend to draw slower on all my portables. With my LSV thought water, I draw a little more rapidly, but its a plug in so it can keep up.
Any takers?

Yep, that sure is and it's the straight up AA stem.

Yeah that was my first session with it and I was amazing how little resistance it had. I kept cooling it down. Definitely need to play with it a little more. I don't know about the rocking would rather it fit snug, I'll try your method and see how it works.

Ohhh man, such a great device :)
Yesterday i had the first oppurtinity to test my little titanium because i needed a plug adapter because of the UK/EU plug difference.

I've only tested it on blue with a small amount, and it is incredible with the all glass basic stem:). Its like my 2014 EQ, but a little bit better ^^ more vapor than i thoguht on just the blue setting.
The silicone sleeve hovever is a little bit smelly for now so i take it out and i'll wash it a bit.
Later i'll post some pictures with its Bigbrother just for fun. I know its nothing new for most of you but i think im not the only one who likes to see pics of others devices :)

Also the package was beautyful, it was like an Iphone box with great blue design, I'll upload a foto about that too because i've never seen it yet in FC, just the brownish box was shown in the earlier pics.

Restricted draw? Come on, isnt it so heavy, its a bit slow but thanks to the slownes u can get nice tasty clouds of it. Restricted draw if the air makes it even better. Restricted draw= 1 very good point in the AA, this is my opinion about this :)

Mine is a basical set for now, just the titanium AA, original stems, som AA/Solo screens.
I'm happy with my purchuase, it worths the money, even if in my country you cannot buy it, and i had to pay much more compareing my coutries economic level with most of yours. I was waiting 7 month to get the money, my new job helped a lot(since march) but even so. I'm so happy with my AA :).
I think I'll use my EQ too, but maybe it will be my backup mostly.

Arizer is the way to the portables!!!
I had before:
- iolite: smelly butane powered and plastic
- Da kube: MFLB coby, its the worst i'tried
- USA vape: desktop vape, better than i thoght, i gave it to a friend
- EQ: best desktop i've tried
- AA: you know more about it than i do hahaha

viva la revolución de la combustión y de los vaporizadores portatiles!

pics coming soon vapeheads :)

I was wondering what we know about the air path in the Arizer Air?

I have a Solo but have stopped using it because I'm not happy about the air path; I can feel the air moving through the battery with my hand as I draw.

I'm looking for a new portable and I liked most things about the Solo other than this problem so I thought I should look at the Air. Does the Air suffer from the same/similar issues? Is the air path properly isolated from all wires/electronics?

Thanks for the help!

I only taste what i put into the stem. For the first use i heated it at top level for a full session and than i let is cool down and made a normal session on blue setting, first the taste was strange because of the silicone condom, than i take it out and it was odorles, just what i put there.

Best portable i know, love the Arizer and the Air :)
I was reading a lot bout the air, but what i told u is my very first experience. I'm sure i will enjoy this vape for years and years, if i'd lost it would buy it once again. Just trust in arizer, give it a try :)
its my opinion, but you must wait and see what others tell you, and maybe lets start re-reading the thread, i'm sure this question is also asked and answered many times.

RBW, I can recommend you, Vapefiend store. very great costumer service!

I don't own a solo but from what I understand they are very similar in design (which IMO is part of the reason the air has proved one of the most problem free new vapes) personally I don't have any worries about the vapour path as anything before the bowl is not heated air, so IMO safe, heat happens in the oven then passes through the glass stem, to me this is the vapour path and IMO anything before the heat shouldn't cause any problems.

I know @OF has taken his air to bits (took one for the team to save anyone else destroying theirs ) and I'm sure if there were any concerns he would not be still using it

Guilty as charged. I'd edit that a bit to ".....if there were any concerns he could identify....". If that were the case (which it's not) I might or might not continue using it in keeping with my assessment of the risk but I would for sure have PASSED THAT INFORMATION ON so others could make a more informed decision. That's the idea, right?

I'm not blessed with the ability such that I could "feel the air moving through the battery with my hand as I draw" on Solo. Amazing (and potentially very useful) skill, that. Someone so blessed might come to a different conclusion with Air?

What I found was a solid wall below the oven (unlike Solo), IMO well sealed to the tube, and LOTS of vent very near by to supply airflow with very low back pressure (again, different from Solo). Does air still leak under the door to the garage when all the windows in the house are open?

And in all honesty I don't fear 'evil battery/electronics' vapor. Anymore than those coming from the computer (television, laptop, ...) I'm no using. They typically defy detection by scientific means (let alone by me personally) and in much much higher concentrations are not considered a health issue in the conventional sense.

Still a guy has to be comfortable/confident about his vape to enjoy it. Real (or imagined) risks play into that. I find nothing to worry about, but each guy (or woman) has to make that call for themselves?

Hey everybody, new user, loving my Air so far.

I was wondering if Id be able to use my Air through a waterpiece with the stock stems, or do I have to buy a separate GOnG stem?

Howdy, welcome to the Forum. Great choice with the Air, but I guess you knew that......

While many guys like custom GonG stems (often with airflow restriction changes), the plastic topped Air stem will mate just fine with 14mm GonG fitting. You should get a bubbler/WT with a 14mm Female fitting, if you already have a different scheme, an adapter seems in order?

^^yes this

Fits great in a 14mm

Also this stem has only had around 3 or 4 uses since cleaning, but those domes screens do keep it looking this clean for a long time, gets darker but no bits.

Think I need to look into resizing pics, even on my phone this look big  sorry to anyone on a computer/laptop.

Thanks for the info. I have been told that li-ion batteries produce a small amount of gas. I have no idea if this is true but I can believe it and it is enough to make me feel a bit uneasy about using my Solo regularly.

Can you not feel air moving? I'm sure anyone can feel the air flow if they hold it in the right way.

I think I would care about any gasses that my tv/computer were producing if I spend as much time breathing through them as I do my vape.

I'm sure these things are entirely harmless in small doses but what if you are breathing it in many times per day for years?

Rest assured that is not true for this class of batteries. During normal cycling they build pressure at times, leaks would mean slow death. They are very well sealed with a destructive vent (it punches a hole in a diaphragm before enough pressure to burst the case can happen. In fact they can be used in vacuum. This information is 'out there'.

Can you not feel air moving? I'm sure anyone can feel the air flow if they hold it in the right way.

No, I can't or I wouldn't have said I can't.

Can anyone else sense airflow inside their Solo by feel? Even if it's there, IMO it's not a risk.

But if you care about long term low level exposure that's exactly the time to worry about living in the same house, especially in the UK where houses tend to be much better sealed than most US houses?

Consider, if you will, guys who work in busy computer and server centers. Working in rooms with LOTS of hot electronics 40 hours a week, 2088 hours a year. Or guys making and testing that same sort of equipment? They too are exposed much much more.......if it was real.

IMO it's just not a realistic threat. You (and everyone else) gets to make that call personally but a very aggressive Hazards Control industry doesn't share the fear........

You call, but IMO you were over concerned with Solo and Air is a tiny fraction of that.

What's up guys, first time poster here. I'm looking to buy my first vape and a good amount of research has me leaning towards the Air. I never vaped before, but have heard good things, so ease of use is important to me as I am a beginner.

For the most part, I will use it at home with my wife, but might take it on an occasional road trip/vacation. So stealth isn't really a big deal to me, but it seems portable enough for what I'm using it for. I just wanted to ask you guys if this was a good investment for a first timer. And if you have any tips for when I do eventually get it, that would be greatly appreciated. I'm currently used to joints and pipes and really like the idea of saving my lungs.

The $149 price is very attractive too compared to the Pax2 and a few others. Thanks in advance.

For what it's worth, I enjoy the Air much better alone. My personal experience is I get a lot of whining from my girlfriend about draw restriction, wimpy hits, reloading, pretty much everything. Then I load a cyclone bowl in my EQ, fill up a bag and hand it over to her. Works a treat every time.

Just tried the AA for the first time today! Wicked stoked. I have an EQ and the Solo so I'm already a fan of Arizer. It's a bit type ridiculous but, I'm seriously happy about the stem caps that came with it. With the Solo, I have to carry a small container of fresh and another for avb along with the stem or stems of choice. With the AA, I can buy a couple extra stems and have them filled, capped and ready to go. When it's done, I'll recap it and dump it when I get home.

The one thing that does disappoint me is the auto shut-off after 10 minutes. The Solo was a 12 minute time-out and that was bad enough. Now, it IS called a Solo, so I'll give them that, but I spend a lot of time around bonfires, or at cookouts and campfires, etc. Every time it comes back round my way, it has to be turned back on.

Other than that, it's smooooth sailin'!

Hey Sticky, welcome to the fun. You made a great purchase. You will get use to the 10 minute timer. For me it's telling me to step up the temp for the second round.

Two possible solutions here. Get the person on your right to start it off and pass the other way. Then you get the last go before it needs turning on.
Or invite one less to the fun.....
Enjoy, it's a fun device.

I tend to agree with Pipes (again....). Speed the group up a mite and get into the habit of resetting it (shut it off and right back on) before passing. This adds effective time to the cycle since you don't have to wait for it to heat up. When I first got mine I fell into the habit of just that alone, I'd turn it on, get it going then reset it. The 12 minute Solo session is really only 10 minutes of useful vaping.......

After some experience I gave that up and learned to work with it. I bet you sort it out?

Best wishes, enjoy your Air (alone or with friends).

My poor EQ is going to feel very neglected. Still will be good in groups because of the bags though.

Got my new Air in the mail today. Friend has been hounding me for my Solo, so I got the air in hopes that he will also turn on a couple of people to vapes, which is good because it gives you a chance to try different vapes without shelling out a ton of cash. and getting one you don't like. For some reason he was not really all that keen on the Air, I think because he had purchased some bad vapes in the past and wanted one he was already familiar with and he knows my Solo in and out by now. He loves it. I told him he could have either one, and he wanted the solo.

Damn, waiting on batteries to charge for a weed vape is like watching a pot full of water on the stove, waiting for it to boil. I threw my two extra batteries on my charger and they are still charging 2 hours later. Charged the stock one in the vape itself, charged up fast, maybe 25 minutes.

Unit is nice sized, perfect for pocketing, looks like a big 26650 sized ecig. Looks like a light saber with the full length Solo stem inserted.

I think I will resist the urge to vape with it tonight, and let it top off/trickle until bedtime. Batteries are cheap relatively speaking, but I am hoping to get 3 sessions out of each battery, I never vape for more than 30 or so minutes straight in any case, but I really want to make sure to get the three sessions per battery. I typically only get 6 out of my solo, but I only charge to blinking at 6-7 and toss it on the charger when it gets down to 2 and I keep that heater going pretty good while in use - making sure as soon as it shuts off I turn it back on so it doesn't have to undergo the stress of heating up and cooling down as often. So I will let these trickle for 6 hours or so like my Solo.

I LOVE the fact it has removable 18650 batteries.

I want one of each of those black stems though. Curses! I wonder how much shipping costs and if they also have any GonGs. Randy at PIU I guess has some stuff from JoDa coming soon, be a bit more colorful, but not so obvious with the honey buildup I am sure. I think with that short black stem, nobody will give it a second look even looking right at it, aside from vaporists.

Very happy with the service I received from Randy. Highly recommended. Only time I had an issue was my Solo did not come with the free grinder as part of the deal, I emailed him about it, and he overnighted one to me. Talk about service. No free grinder this time, but I got a good deal on the vape and have one anyways.

As long as it heats the same as the Solo I think I will be incredibly happy with my purchase. I bet it will heat the same, or be a damn close facsimile.

While I'm sure this information is 'out there' I think you will also find that contradictory information is also 'out there'. Not having any expertise in the many subjects required to answer these questions for myself I am forced to either decide who I believe (as you have done, assuming you aren't an expert) or to remain cautious and treat it as an unknown. From my point of view it is one person's word against another and the chances are that neither is completely right.

It is far from the same thing working in a room full of computers (which would undoubtably have ventilation) to directly inhaling air though a vape. Think about how much air is in a room, anything you breathe in will be mostly diluted. When you use a vape 100% of the air that is passing through the vape is entering your lungs.

Just because you haven't been told that there is a problem doesn't mean there isn't one. Humans have made many mistakes in recognising hazards (asbestos? tobacco?). Breathing a lot of your air through hot electronics for many years is probably something that we currently have relatively little data on.
