Are you guys able to use 1 battery and get to where you need to be? On another forum I am seeing reports of 3 sessions/charge and another person said they get 3 on lowest setting and 2 on white. Do you guys feel like its enough battery life?

How many sessions do you need on your Solo to get where you need to be?

Most here are reporting 5-6 sessions per charge. Any less on a new battery would indicate a crap battery or faulty unit.

I've consistently been able to get at least 4 per charge on green and yellow. It could probably go more but I only go to 4 cuz I'm normally home by then.

Speaking of batteries, my son got a hold of my spare and dunked in my glass of water when I was outta the room. I don't even know how long it was in the cup lol. It's been just sitting there for like two weeks. I should just trash it right? Lol.

Also, my throat can't seem to get used to the air. It really effs up my throat. I can't do more than one bowl back to back cuz it cuts up my throat. I've been using the air for months, didn't think it'd take that long to get used to it.

Can anyone tell me how the AA with short and long Plastic tipped stems compares to Thermovape T1 with short mouthpiece in regard to vapor heat/harshness?

Any suggestions for using a different battery other than the stock? I'm gonna buy a pair of Samsung 25r off amazon in preparation, but there are a couple warnings in the description to not overcharge or over-drain the battery. Does the Air battery charger have an automatic shutoff when fully charged?

I don't know shit about batteries and I also don't care about voiding the warranty, I just don't want the damn thing to blow up in my face, hah.

Depending on how you use T1, I think Air is less harsh for most, although you have to draw a lot of air through T1 just to get to step 3. If you really honk on T1, there's no comparison, Air is much more mild mannered. And much easier to control and get uniform results from.

OTOH T1 has the edge on taste if you keep it under control I think?

Not as yet, but we've got a couple guys looking into it. There does seem to be evidence Air treats the battery a bit differently than most, which could lead to problems.

For now the safest suggestion seems to be the factory battery.

Tried out a bit of Cotton Candy OG with the D020 Bubbler and the Air. This is the 18mm GonG for the Solo.
I did 2 sessions back to back. The battery is getting low so I didn't try a third. 2 sessions and I'm very medicated a third would have been overkill. Started on white then bumped up to green. The WT did cool the vapor a bit. The Air did not overheat. Not sure what a third session would have done? It's charging up.

Just insert the GonG while the unit is hot. If I would have had recruits I would have gotten out the extra battery. I thought it was a very enjoyable experience. Now Breaking Bad reruns.

Sweet , thanks for the pics CK , how was the airflow using it like that ? I noticed using my shorty stem with the plastic mp off and a pwt knockoff airflow was not great. It was a little hard to get it all to bubble that way but i have a 18mm adapter like yours on the way to try out from joda glass works.

@SiDankies The PVHES GonGs and mouthpieces from Planetvape have an easier draw for the Solo so intern it's an easier draw for the Air. With the water filtering the airflow it cools down the vapor.

The GonG doesn't seem to stretch the oven. I inserted the GonG when the unit was hot.

@OF,

Thanks for your answer on the smoothness of the AA with short stem compared to the T1. I was a bit concerned about a few complaints about the harshness of the Air but if it is less than the T1 it will be A-OK.

Yes. The T1 definitely topped the Solo for taste. More pure and far more intense on the initial draws. Also toasting down to a nice toasty sweetness compared to the Solo. The Lotus is tops for this particular aspect of flavor profile.

Really looking forward to getting an Air. A Solo that goes in the pocket and looks like an ecig is tops for me. Vapolution 3.0 will replace T1 for ultimate flavor. No worries having a small trade-off in flavor for the pocket vape.

Damn I just remembered I'm going to Vegas in 2 weeks. There's no way I'll get my Air into Arizer and get it fixed and shipped back in time, especially since it's taking 1-2 days for each email reply from them. It's my only portable :(

I might buy another portable Maybe a MFLB. Or I might buy another Air and sell it after Vegas. How much money do you think I could get back for a slightly used Air? I probably wouldn't lose much.

I think there is a fair potential for you to loose quite a bit if you buy at full price. Only last week we saw them at $199. Once they get out to more retailers it will no doubt get cut-throat. Remember that Randy at PIU will match the ridiculously low prices of the dodgy ebay sellers so it's not going to be hard for informed FC members to get a good price.

@PIU the Air is listed at $260. How do you get the price-match?

I heard back from Arizer for my warranty claim. I'm sending it back to Canada! I have to pay to ship it but they waived the $15 return shipping fee.

They said it will be fixed or replaced in 2 business days and sent back. Maybe I can get it back before I leave for Vegas on Saturday 24th

4 - 6 sessions on mostly blue, sometimes white, and I rarely go past green (tastes too "popcorn-y" for my liking and I feel I need to put it through a water tool -- granted, am using the shortest stem with a screen wedged in there).

I do often turn off my Air as soon as I'm done hitting it, otherwise it will stay at temp until the 10 (12?) minute timer kicks in.

Speaking of batteries, my son got a hold of my spare and dunked in my glass of water when I was outta the room. I don't even know how long it was in the cup lol. It's been just sitting there for like two weeks. I should just trash it right? Lol.

uhhh, you could try this maybe to be sure? silica packs will suck the moisture out of most anything. I think your best course of action would be to send Arizer a quick email and ask if you're really worried.

Of course, if you do that, they may just say "nah, don't do that, buy another battery" and it probably isn't worth the hassle if you do end up frying your unit, even if they will warranty that. (I have no idea.)

It can be rough on your throat, and that is why I will be buying a portable water tool soon. Probably this one -- thanks to the cheap glass thread on these forums. Anyone else have any suggestions for f-bomb / pinnacle pro water tube products? something tiny and hopefully not marked up massively.
