@VaPeD&CoNfUsEd Draw restriction was solved in later model Solos, and can definitely be solved with an aftermarket stem if it turns out to be an issue with the Air.

I'm more wondering and hoping that the unit is as efficient as a Solo at extracting vapor and turning herb to blackened dust.

This thing is gonna be one bad motorscooter. Will do a comparison between Solo vs. HI vs. Air.

The more I read about this the more I'm trying to justify this vape! I'm thinking if it is like the og solo, then I can use it more like a session vape, coz sometimes I just want to sip after reaching a bowl on my crafty. Yes, these two will be a match made in heaven (its mostly vapour hehe)

I think Arizer are based in Ontario too @weedemon .

I emailed them earlier and asked quite a few questions about air path and crucible design,also asked about possible not so good things, restriction in air path and temperature drop off using water etc.

I hope they answer.it is 3.30am in OT so I'll have to wait till at least tomorrow.

there doesn't t seem to be anyone in the world with the air yet.ive been hitting google quite a bit for updates or videos and its just FC and the official Arizer site so far on results.

It's good that it has a low temp setting that will suit the flavor-whores of our kind! (you know who you are)

It also resolves the main concern people had with the Solo about it being just "barely portable". It would have been even better if the stem/straw was contained inside the device for transport, but the form factor looks good and the device is sexier.

So many new vapes to chose from, it's christmas before christmas!

Looks like it's outer shell is metal,maybe aluminium like the solo and the bottom screws off to access the battery.i like that over a flimsy latch style battery door.

Although I was never a fan of the earlier versions of the solo because of robot fart and draw restriction.I admired the solos look and solid construction.

But lets hope they Are offering something new in performance with the Air and not a smaller leaner solo.
The new name says they have, to me but who knows:shrug:
Until I read a bit more,I'm hesitant to push the button...that and the Crafty with free shipping works out just over $100 more to my postbox.Dammit:doh: no more please:lol:

In the meantime....Is the reduction in price only for Black Friday or will it continue after?..I don't wanna miss out.

Finally a new vape from Arizer! Been waiting a while for Arizer to make a new portable.
Got my solo in 2011 right after it was released. Reckon I have used it somewhere around 2000 bowls since then, never failed me once. Still has very good battery life!

I hope this vape can finally retire my beloved old solo!

Looking forward to reviews! Cant jump on this before after christmas is over.. :/

They keep changing things! Appears the only difference between the Solo temps is the lack of 190c. Otherwise, i'm pretty sure these vapes are identical in function, just in a smaller form factor. If the stems are loose, it will be a bitch with the tiny Air stems, unless there is a built in o-ring.

Arizer Air Temperature Levels

Level 1 (Blue) - 185°C / 365°F
Level 2 (White) - 195°C / 383°F
Level 3 (Green) - 200°C / 392°F
Level 4 (Orange) - 205°C / 401°F
Level 5 (Red) - 210°C / 410°F

I thought the new temps were like the Indica? Everyone else posted celsius 170-180-190-200-210...

I do love the indica temps, the two lowest are awesome, but missing out on 385F and 405F is a shame. And with your listed settings there's no more 374F? That'd also be a shame. But which settings are the actual settings? I'd like the Air to have 383 actually, since I don't get it with my indica and I use that setting the most on my Solo, so it could better replace it that way

Also battery removal has screws? Or its a threaded cap? Bc having to use a screwdriver would not be very easily replaceable on the go. Trying to figure out if this really makes sense or not for me...

Check Arizer's webpage. They are the ones doing the changes. I just reposted from there.

Threaded screw off, no screwdriver required.
