I have both and the air is a good vape but it doesn't come close to crafty for performance. This or the crafty? I am leaning towards this because of price. Also, I am guessing the limited time special is expired? Any opinions?

Plenty of comparisons in the Crafty/Mighty threads from people with Solo's. Just doesn't seem right to spam the Air thread with Crafty/mighty comparisons.Explain Please
HiNo doubt just after they get them. Which comes after release to distributors, which happens in January we're told.
Soon on the calendar, but a long time if yer Jonesin' for sure. FWIW I don't expect to see great prices anytime soon as long as the pent up demand is there?
Too bad you missed the Black Friday/introduction sale from Arizer, I'm thinking it'll be a while before those prices come around again........

Comparison threads should be made in Ask FC. As I mentioned earlier, some comparison between vapes is inevitable in the vape specific threads, but we discourage too much of this type of discussion in vape specific threads to keep the threads on topic and avoid OT derails.
So guys? Do you think there is a good reason to go for an Air instead of a Solo if size and portability is not an issue? I don't really care about replaceable batteries but is a nice addition nevertheless... I like the new mouthpieces though and I would get some for the Solo.
So the air has better airflow than the new Solos (which I haven't tried by the way, last one I had was a M107 and the draw was quite hard)?Do you enjoy low temp vaping?
Do you think the airflow is a huge annoyance to you with the solo?
If so get the air. You'll want to use it and share it with friends.
I've never used the crafty but I still will pull out my solo and use it at level 6. I prefer my solo for higher temps but if I want to do some low temps and push giant clouds I'll take the air for a spin.
if you don't care about those things maybe you'll be fine with your solo.
i love having both!
@shawn0223 ive just been using the vaccum techinque, so suck it up with the mouthpiece then just a light pinky pack on the load to push it below the rim and then tap out any un packed bits into your container while the rest should stay in the bowl and ready to go. dont push to hard when packing
So you fill it up all the way and lightly pack it? I never really took measurements when using the Pax or eq so I'm kinda being conservative. I should measure what I use in the Pax and eq.and try the same amount here and see what's up. I barely had any in there this morning and it seemed like it smoked better after the first ten minute shutoff. Like it needed a warm-up or something
It's cured decently, not that moist and was in my grinder since yesterday so I figured it'd be decently dry, I might have to leave it open for a bit lol. It was like 50 degrees this morning so that probably had some effect along with wetness and not having enough in the bowl. So many different variables lol. Also noticed that whenever it's cold. The ground up herb tends to clump together in my grinder. No idea why lol
Definitely about to take a break from work and go outside lol. Also. I had my stem snapped by the mouthpiece this morningyeah it could just need to be dried a little bit more. Give it a try. i am not to familiar with the air but will be soon. I do know when i have some moist herb and use it in other vapes it tends to work allot better after my 1st session once its dry. I see most here recommend a medium grind and not packed to much so you get some nice airflow. I pretty much follow that method with most of my vapes.
I really like the smallest stem, it has the smallest herb chamber of all my stems (air and solo)
Yikes! Think I'm going to be gentler nowI had my stem snapped by the mouthpiece this morning
I've always had this issue with arizer glass pieces, they always are weak and break easily. So lame lol.
