I took it off immediately. piaso it isn't necessary and I can leave it off? I just wasn't sure if it was important for the life of the unit but if it's not I'll just leave it off

@beiberhole69 i wonder what the oog stands for on the above vaporizer? It looks fake to me. The top cap part even looks funky.
Just purchased a new Air after realizing my previous one was a knockoff. Very unfortunate. Hopefully it's the newest model with the re-machined oven plate.
Does anyone have suggestions on where to get cheap glass pieces online for the Air?
Bummer, but good recovery. I'm sure you'll be happy with the real deal once it's in hand. While I haven't tried one I can't see how much improvement is happening for those of us who are sippers. And if you're on the ripper end of things, even into to the cloud chasers, I'm sure PVHES will have even a bigger effect. Meaning I guess I don't think you'll miss much at all if you have the same model I have. And all the rest, for that matter save the one guy that got one? Lots of happy campers, welcome.
I think most of us got WTs from DHGate. Custom stems from Planet Vape or Ed. For a while the plastic topped stem will mate with 14mm GonG fittings fine, after that I'm liking the WPA I got from Puff it Up, cheaper than the PV version and easier to get in and out (the mouth is cleverly tapered a bit!). No restriction reduction though.......
Enjoy your Air, sounds like you worked a bit and getting educated along the way.

@msemcee I second OF, all great suggestions, If you buy a stem from eds tnt it tapes to 14mm and doubles as a WPA
WT = water toolThanks guys. The counterfeit unit I got actually worked pretty good. I was surprised how similar it was to an original. Wouldn't have stopped using it if it didn't start to fall apart on me.
You suggest any sellers on DHGate? And when you say 'WT' I'm assuming you mean water tube? WPA = water pipe attachment?

Edit
I responded before I saw the rest of the post was added on. Originally it was a picture and said he found it off eBay.
This is the place to ask.... WELCOME.
Buying a second hand can be good value, make sure they have a receipt for the warranty and to prove its a genuine.
Puffitupp for a new one (not much dearer)
