Are the holes in the 70mm w/ tip stems the bigger or smaller ones? Compared to the all glass one
got 6 60mm plastic tip. Bowl about 25% smaller. Inverted dome solves the problem nicely. The very first ones came with both 60 and 70mm plastic topped ones, and a straight Solo stem (wrapped in the case). Before Christmas they released the short all glass stem and pulled the second plastic tipped one.
My guess is a last minute decision to include an all glass stem?
While they were hard to find at first, you can now order any of the 3 (60, 70, and all glass) for ten bucks each, give or take.

Interesting. I have both a 60mm that came with the air and a 70mm (from before they started selling 60's) and they have the same bowl size. Since you have 6 of them looks like its not variability but really a design change.got 6 60mm plastic tip. Bowl about 25% smaller. Inverted dome solves the problem nicely.
Thanks Stevenski, I'm pretty sure it's gonna take some type of expertise to get this thing humming. It should be a nice contrast to the AA, we shall see....
also, I use dome screen, but can also use a flat and shape it. I actually "crush" my dome screens flat (top touches sides) with a 1/4 inch (maybe 5/16) dowel.... The bowl is about half the size of no screen, maybe a drip less.
I just got some 60mm stems (thanks @Justpassedu) directly from Arizer (did not know they existed because I get all my AA stuff from Puffitup). The stem and bowl are smaller. I will need to use a "flat screen" here I think, dome a bit big, only leaves about 30%.
Does anyone use the all glass stem with the Air?
Dry and grind fine, use dome screen to shrink bowl size. I like plastic tip stem.I just bought an air a few days. How long is a fully packed bowl suppose to last? I feel like I get 5 nice size hits, and the rest the vapor is minimal. And also, not a fan of the draw resistance at all, guess I'm used to bowls and bongs. But what's the BEST stem to decrease the resistance, the turbo? Thanks for the help. I really wanna get the most out of it. I'm regretting it rn.
I grind it up fine, I'll try drying it out some more.. how is a screen gonna help the resistance? How many hits do you usually get during a 10 minute session?Dry and grind fine, use dome screen to shrink bowl size. I like plastic tip stem.
Me and you are in the same boat I guess, but it does get me medicated pretty good so its doing the job. I just have you get used to the restriction hopefully sooner than later, I wasn't expecting it to be that tough. Thanks for your help though sir. That's what I was trying to find out.A bowl in the Air usually lasts me more than 10 minutes, I often have to turn it back on again to make sure I've gotten it all. I usually spend 10 mins on blue then another min or 2 on green.
I hate to say it, but if the restriction bothers you that much, the Air may not be the vape for you.
Different stems can help (or drilling/filing out the airholes on stock stems ) but then the vapour is less dense
Being an ex-bong smoker, I wasn't a big fan of the restriction of the Air either and while I did sort of get used to it, I wanted a vape with a more open draw.
I still have my Air, but it's seldom used now and pretty much relegated to backup status except for the odd occasions when I need stealth outdoors or I'm in no rush to medicate & chill or if I want to conserve my herb.

Really appreciate all the info and the quick reply, trying to learn as much as I can, I knew he was trying to help I was just asking a question on how that it would help, but you answered that for me. I will give it a shot. Gonna try and soak in everything you said and hopefully I'll get the most of my air. Cause I want it to be my daily. How long a bowl lasts is a really subjective thing. 'It lasts until it's done' is not just a flippant answer. You're putting in say .2 grams of 15% bud? 30mg of THC? A good vape (like Air) can probably deliver most (say 80%?) of that against that bong and combustion that might give you a third that much. How many hits that is depends on your technique. Try sipping rather than pushing?
On average I'd say most of us finish a stem in the 12 minutes allotted. Some of us sippers go a second session?
The PV turbo is probably the least restricted stem out there, but I don't think that's going to help what you think it will. This is not like blazing, skills there can be useless or ever counter productive here. With a when you suck a bunch of extra air in, it feeds the fire making more heat. Vapor production goes up in absolute terms (more mg per minute). With Air, sucking in more cold air doesn't lead to more heat in fact it ROBS heat that would otherwise make vapor!!! Actual production, in mg per minute) goes DOWN, not up. You get more but thinner vapor. If you want the most, don't try to get vapor faster than it's being made.
Conversion to vaping is a separate process, it's not going to happen the first time you do it. Nor the second likely. On average you'll need a week or so of absolutely no combustion. Not a single toke. Doing so reestablishes the metal link you have that ties sticking your face in the campfire (breathing in all that nasty stuff in smoke) in order to get off.
No real need to grind at all. Air will do a bang up job on an intact budlette. Dry is good, but it only shortens the time you need to get to vapor and the portion of the vapor that's THC, it doesn't magically give you more total THC in the load to extract.
The dome screen offers less resistance because it has a much larger area for vapor to go through (in square inches) and it fouls more slowly (so it passes gas easier.....the definition of draw restriction). It's a valid tip. You asked advice, I suggest you try it on faith alone if necessary, Bravesst has a white hat and is trying to help.
Thanks for your help, I'll def try out your tips also. That would depend on your temp setting, in part.
If you're coming from the perspective of a bong or even a desk top vape, you'll have to adjust your expectations. The AA is not meant to provide open throttle hits. Lots of explanations on the thread as to why.
I wouldn't recommend 'packing' a full bowl. No way for the air to get to all the material to vaporize it. I fill it loosely, atop a domed screen. The screen serves to keep debris away from the air holes in the stem. It also allows a little more distance between your material and the hot air, allowing for a little more convection to occur.
If you let the AA operate the way it wants to -- slow pulls over loosely packed material, not hard fast ones over a tightly packed bowl -- you'll get easier hits, and they should provide ample amounts of vapor. Mine does. I typically get around five hits (a light hit on either end of three nice hits of vapor) from a loosely packed bowl on the blue setting. If I up the temp I'll get two or three more decent hits. I never go beyond the green setting, but I'm pretty sure there are more hits to be had if you up it to the higher temps. Skim through @Bravesst AA guide if you get the chance.
Stick with it a while. I'm guessing you'll find it to be useful.
It's been mentioned many times before but worth repeating I think, to improve airflow (IMO by almost double) simply push the stem in as far as it will go then pull it back out a tiny bit maybe 1-2mm.
But what's the BEST stem to decrease the resistance, the turbo? Thanks for the help. I really wanna get the most out of it. I'm regretting it rn.
So I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the car charger and whether it is worth it to pick one up with this vape or if anyone has found alternate car chargers that work?

Can this work with the SOLO?Sure. Get either of these cables (obviously when Amazon has them back in stock if you go that way):
http://www.ebay.com/itm/cable-USB-4...pply-5V-Tablet-Android-Sony-PSP-/281234981407
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NQCMRJ6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
Then 'any old auto USB adapter to power the cable with, like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters®-2-Pack-Dual-USB-Charger/dp/B00MH3USBE/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1449543595&sr=8-4&keywords=auto+usb+charger
You want one Amp or more output, more than an Amp is sort of a waste since you can't use the extra capacity so don't go nuts on output power. If you go with the EBay cable there are lots and lots of cheap auto USB adapters there.....go figure.
This also lets you charge from a friendly computer USB of course.

15 to 20 on .06 to .1 grams, sometimes more. Take a peek at the video in my AA guide.I grind it up fine, I'll try drying it out some more.. how is a screen gonna help the resistance? How many hits do you usually get during a 10 minute session?
Awesome this is really helpful, I was gonna go for a car charger from arizer if folks recommended that, I'm glad to hear that there is a better option. Am considering just buying another battery even instead as that might fit my use needs just as well.Sure. Get either of these cables (obviously when Amazon has them back in stock if you go that way):
