Hello everyone I've got a battery question, @OF & @CentiZen I am looking at you

I bought a secondary battery a few weeks back, only just noticed one is labeled A06 and one is A07.

Can you guys shed any light on this? The A06 came in my air, and is a UK model with battery indicator.



Also, I saw a few people mentioning risks of carrying batteries with keys in pockets. I wont be doing that, however I would like to keep it in my ego case. Normally I have the silicone case on the vape, so less metal exposed, would it be an issue being transported like this? Sometimes I keep the metal stirring tool in there loose. Should I get a cap? Or would putting the battery in a plastic baggie be enough.

Has anyone noticed differences when vaping indica/afghanica strains with the air?

I never claim to be real smart when it comes to the science of all this but im personally an indica/aghanica fan, and i notice if i take an indica strain and compare it to an equal in quality sativa strain when combusting... Then do the same comparison when vaping with the Air... I get different results...

Obviously vaping vs combusting can already lead to different effects, but what im talking about is, i will get way more couch locked and better results when combusting indicas than when vaping.. but the sativa strains seem to be even more potent when vaping than when combusting... Its like an opposite effect..

Im thinking it may have something to do with the fact that indica/aghanica strains have higher cbd to thc ratios and the cbd contents require higher temps to vaporize than the THC... And maybe the Air cant reach high enough temps to extract all of the CBD, CBN, et al. noids???

But on the other hand thc vapes at a lower temp and therefor combustion destroys more of that cannibinoid...

Am i even close??

See... When i use the EQ i can raise the temp a lot higher and when i go to 220°C I get even better results than when combusting indica strains.. this is what leads me to believe its the Air just not reaching high enough temps to unlock all the noids.

It think it has been mentioned here before. Someone said he felt it didnt extract well as the SOLO on high temps . I personally prefer my Solo over my Air when it comes to using the bubbler. I get better results.

Depending what you are comparing it to, yes it is very small

There are actually 3 sizes of these ego cases, this is the medium size

Great size for me, enough to hold enough for a day out. The vape, stirring tool, doob tube with ground herb, a capped stem and maybe even a battery.

@bluenavey00 you should be fine with that case setup, with regards to metal & battery the thing that will cause problems is if metal touches the + and - side, so keys, loose change would be a no no but a Stirring tool if straight cant cause issues unless there is damage to the battery wrap (the red stuff)

With my batteries i have BAK A05 and A06, I'm sure i remember this being talked about and they are the same (cant remember the reason for the diff numbers though)

Returned home to AZ from Laguna Beach trip to find my Air and Nitecore D2 waiting. Solo worked great during the trip but was so excited to see its baby brother.

First AA sessions last night were impressive. It's so small but it does all that the Solo can with maybe even better clouds and flavor. Plastic tipped stem didn't affect flavor after a couple of burn offs.

At home I'll probably use it most with the d020. And I'll be ordering an Ed's WonG as soon as he's redesigned them to fit.

The stealthiness of this thing is impressive. It will be leaving home with me a lot.

Hello everyone! I haven't been on this forum for about 2-3 months. Last time I checked this thread was right when Arizer released the short air stem.
I am now wondering of im missing any of the new stuff or info. Can you guys give me an update on the AA or any new features plz?
I ve heard that the new air has a battery indicator. Is that it?

But out of curiousity, does anyone have a suggestion for a good tabletop unit that gives just as good/better performance then the AA? I've read from a lot of people that their AA has replaced their old desktop units such as Extreme Q's etc. Is the AA really that good that it has eliminated home units in its price bracket?

E-Nano. It by far outperforms my Solo. I will be getting an Air though for more portability and sell the Solo.

The Air cant replace my EQ... Granted i love my Air... But it doesn't offer the options the EQ does and i get a bit better vapor quality from my EQ as well.... This is just thinking from an individual users perspective.. When you start thinking about groups, social events Etc., the EQ really starts to outshine the Air even more.

It (EQ) has also has never overheated no matter how long i keep it going. Which is a big plus for people who vape at a more constant pace... I once fell asleep on my couch while filling a bag and woke up 2 hours later and everything worked fine. This to me is a sign its more durable in extended use.

The Air is AWESOME. I love it and use it at home all the time, even more than my EQ... But mostly because it heats up faster and works better with very little product, therefor saving me herb.. But when im sitting at the house with a decent amount of herb and not in any rush i pretty much always pick the EQ... Its just not that often i have that much herb LOL

The EQ also offers a temp setting in 1° increments and goes a lot hotter. Up to 260°C IIRC.. which is hotter than anyone should need for vaping, but i do like the option to go to 220, even 230 sometimes.

Plus i prefer bags.. and i can fill a bag 4 times with a decent bowl, thats when im going from 185°C-220°C, but a lot of times im good after 1 bag... And i notice when i save the bowl for later i never get the same amount of fills, or as good as vapor quality... SO when im not wanting to run the bowl till its finished it can be a little wasteful that way...

So much boils down to preferences.

I'm looking to pick up a good non portable solution in about 2 months for between 150-250$ give or take a little bit. I usually like to experiment with a new toy ever few months once I pay off the last one. Gotta love PayPal credit lol. But by no means will it replace my Air, I love this thing way too much. I just find a 10 minute session a little hard sometimes when I have lots of guests and don't wanna overheat the unit running it over and over again.

I have both the Air and Eq, and i can say it all depends on how your using the Eq. I can pull more massive clouds off it than my E-nano, This can only be done by using the elbow pack method on the Eq.


I use my E-nano the most it's safe to keep on %100 of the time, And mine has pretty much been on for over a year. The only problem i ran into with mine is the cord. I have an older one with a non detachable and it's breaking near the log. I think it is hands down the best for flavor as well when you dial it down to around 6.

As WoodVillian said "So much boils down to preferences." It's true. I chose the E-nano because it seemed like an easy transition to a log vape from the Solo, and it is. It's also really powerful and simple which I like. Totally analog, No LCD screens or beeps or anything techy. That's also a preference thing. I also don't need bags or anything that's better suited to groups. The reason I switched to a desktop was because I too was becoming frustrated with charging batteries and session timeouts. With the Nano it's just on and I use it whenever I want.

Very cool, although might run into issues with not all stems being perfectly round/even. I know I have a couple where even a trimmed down regular stainless screen is a tricky fit

But how do you order it?

And does anyone know why PlanetVape adapters are always out of stock?

The JoDa and namster Vape adapters just don't work as well. I really want to be able to attach my new AA to a bubbler.

For tabletop it's the exhale evo cloud. It's the clear out winner IMHO. That's why I love the solo - when attached to a bubbler it's like a mini Evo.

I think you're right. Changed/improved specifications would call for a different part number (how else would you order it?). I suspect you're looking at a 'date code' or run number as well. The sort of thing they tell you to look for to see if the Kraft Mac and Cheese you just bought is part of the poison recall, for instance.

And does anyone know why PlanetVape adapters are always out of stock?

Because demand exceeds supply. Same story as with fine Scotch. The alternative way free markets cover this is to raise prices up 'to what the traffic will bear'....... I don't know about you, I'd rather have lower prices?

How many cycles are typically recommended for burn off on a new unit?

I've done one full cycle at the highest temp before testing it out. It's either the unit or this herb because it tastes "off".

I had some stuff the other day that taste very earthy, almost potting soil like. The high was there but taste not ideal for me, especially since vaporizers enhance flavor so much.

Lastly, this thing hits very very nicely. I normally started my solo off at level 3 for taste then did most of the session at lvl4. I would take pulls from it almost like an e-cig to get it going then take one long pull once she was ready.

With the air I noticed at only level 2 I can literally just draw from it like one would a cigar and get vapor. The slightest pull produces vapor where with the solo it took much more effort.

For someone who has never vaped before I think the air would be a better experience because of the ease of use and no learning curve. Just my .02

Also some people are more sensitive to plastic tastes and smells. I can't think of anyone having an issue on FC with the Air far as smells and tastes were concerned.

Hey guys, just wanted to say that my Air arrived today!!!

Initial impression: Wow this thing looks sharp!!
At first glance, I noticed the utterly brilliant titanium color, glimmering with perfection. I thought to my self "Damn, this thing is like riding a harvester in a corn field, with a fat in the lips, looking like a total badass B." it is just a solid looking unit with superb machining and precise crasftmanship.

Setup and Use: Pretty straightfoward, heated up the unit to 5, let it cycle through, and then shutoff. Turned it back on immediately and inserted the stem with ease. (Giggity giggity goo) It was surprising how well it fit, considering the reviews I watched in which the reviewers had a little difficult time getting in the stems on the first try. It has a nice restriction when you pull the stem out. It doesn't fit too tight, doesn't fit too loose, it fits just right. Kind of like relaxed-fit jeans. It sits in there nice and comfy.


Upon the initial session and stem insert, I fired up to the Green setting and packed the bowl. Wow!! That's what I was feeling when I took the first hit. Great flavor, nice clouds. The draw restriction was hardly noticeable, which was surprising since I used the stem with the plastic mouthpiece. It was definitely better than the solo. Only thing that sucked was the battery indicator came on during the 4th hit. Luckily for me, this unit has pass thru charging.

So I fired it back on and took 4 more rips. And what surprised me was the fact that I got that many hits out of it after packing it only about halfway! Very efficient! Can't wait to use the PNWT with this!!

Initial impression: Based on the sharp looks of the Air, performance, and ease of use, I'd have to say that this vape outperforms the solo. Its not like it blows it out of the water, but IMO, the Air shows me that Arizer really improved an already excellent quality vaporizer. That's what you want as a follow up! Something that takes an already excellent design and makes it better. Portability, airflow, looks, efficiency, they all seem to be improved with the Air design. While the battery is the only thing I'd say that could have been better. (But I honestly can't say that because I did use it right out of the box, and with the initial session already under its belt. The battery wasn't charged all the way up)
However, having multiple batteries on hand and an external charger available for purchase, it kind of trumps this battery argument pretty quickly.

Its not the perfect vaporizer, but it is solid and delivers excellent quality and tasty vapor, at a pretty damn good deal for only $170 with a spare battery included. Its everything a consumer would want in a follow-up product. The same vaping mechanism exists in both vapes. They took the same standard for the Solo and improved it with the release of the Air.

Really am impressed with the unit. I feel really nice and relaxed right now, and this is after vaping some Pineapple Express!(Mind you it has been two hours since i vaped, so the effects are probably wearing off a little)

You guys can definitely tell its a Sativa based on the novel I am writing. Really gets the mind working. Ill post pics of it tomorrow before I go to work.

All I can say is my enano works amazingly and fits well along my air. I have had a cloud+ and this things performance is very close all while being able to use TINY bowls. I used tweezers to load it last time just to see how low I could go. Put in IDK like 30mg and got two legit bong rips.

I've tried to reach support twice now about the double teal/cyan lights that I'm experiencing and have had no response or callback. God forbid my unit dies and I have to replace it under warranty, might be hard if I cant reach them lol.
