So i sent PV a message letting them know about the chip in the stem and they asked for a picture.. So i figured id share the picture here too.

They said they would be willing to give me a $15 credit towards the Vortex when its back in stock if/since id rather not deal with paying to return it to them and then waiting for a replacement.

QC should have spotted this, but they are willing to try and make things right so thats good.

Yikes, if you can find a local glassblower, you could ask them to flame polish that and anneal it properly. At most they might charge you $5-10

Ebay Best Price ( 4 Unds ) ( i buy one =D)

100 USD + 30 Shipping to USA: http://www.ebay.com/itm/400877742720

This seller has 13338 Sells and 100 % Positive Feedback...

Wow! Those went quick! I actually picked up 2 of them...but was so tempted to buy more. The seller replied to one of my many questions (what colour, are the boxes sealed/unopened, warranty, how sell so cheap?) and replied with a storey that a friend bought 9 of them to bring to Dubai but couldn't bring them and had to offload them all at a loss. Good storey, not that I care, since I purchased these knowing very well that they may not have warranties. He said they should have warranty, but he doesn't like dealing with small manufacturer warranties lol. Any LHS get ripped off recently?

They are already out for shipping with a tracking number...I know he says no refunds, but i'm protected buy ebay's/paypal's buyer protection, so he may not have a choice if I don't receive what I think i'm receiving.

Further to all of this, he is out of the montreal area, and I found another user name that has 144 feedback only, but the ads are very, verrry similar to this one.... same style, same "if you are unsure, don't buy" disclaimers, and shipping fees.....as well as Arizer Air's for only a few dollars more than this one ($120USD but shipping is $5 cheaper).

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/NEW-Authenti...t=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item4ae5f81ea9

This is also probably the same seller that was selling Arizer EQ's for $100USD a few months back out of Montreal....feedback was very little at the time, so I decided to pass on it, even at that amazing price.

I'll report back when I get the new Airs! I'm not far so i'm hoping for delivery on Monday. Time for PV gong shopping!

Hey guys, theres a new custom made Air case that just made it to Ebay. It's pricy, but it looks solid:

This seller is legit if you're wondering. He has been selling C-Vault containers for years (I've bought a few from him a while back). And it seems he makes custom cases for the Solo, Crafty, Pax, etc. although I've never bought a case from him. If anyone ends up getting this, a user review would be nice. TIA

How many ten minute sessions does a mostly full bowl tend to last for you guys? What about stop and go sessions?
Used to be 2-3 whispy ones but now with denser vapor, it's all wrapped up in less than one session. Depends on temp selection, airflow control, material quality & stem type and/or use of screens to reduce bowl size.

Ok.... I think now PV is trying to blame me for the chip in the stem. Yesterday things seemed fine. Today they sent me a message saying that chip is too big to have been missed by QC (same thing i was thinking) and that it looks like impact damage... It DOES look like impact damage.... But not by me. I emailed them about it same day i received it and did so before ever even using it.

Even after everything. The overcharged shipping fees for slower shipping services, waiting forever and then receiving a chipped stem, i still kept it cool and gave the company the benefit of the doubt... And now they are trying to pass the blame off on me....

What i have learned about this company is they are great until something goes wrong. I think most people speak so highly about them because they have a monopoly on high efficiency glass stems, NOT because they have great service and caring individuals working there.

If you post this in the PV thread instead of the Air thread I'll bet you get a response from the company.

If not saving ABV, I'd say two sessions per stock stem. You can do a fairly good job with 'stop and start again later' if you pull the stem out.

However, and IMO this is well worth considering, this means the second session will not 'start fresh', the good tasting part being in the first session. And the nature of the vapor will be different to very different depending on strain. Strains with useful CBD content will have that sedative ("couch lock") effect confined to the second session, which is fine unless you wanted some in the first or were looking for a more 'Sativa like' high on the second.

Rather I suggest reducing the volume of the stem (like with domed screens) so they contain enough for a single session (whatever you decide that is for you). That way each session starts with the same, consistent load.

This finally came in:
http://m.dhgate.com/product/glass-atomizer-ash-catcher-dry-herb-vaporizer/213068750.html#pd-019

This thing is way better than my PWT clone. Its quiet while diffusing and clearing. Hits are very smooth. I used the short glass stem that came with my AAir and a little bit of teflon. This thing doesn't really leak and I have not gotten much water in my mouth. I recommend it!

Yep, pretty spiffy IMO. Seems to 'fit' with the Air as well. Glad you like it. Delivery may be slow, but the price is right. I've got a couple more on order, I just lost mine to a friend who didn't want to let go of it...... He had some wizz bang oil vape he put it on to try and the rest is history.

Color me simple, I still enjoy the no spill aspect. Filling is so easy, flush it out upside down in the sink, drain out all that will come, shake twice and go. I'm thinking of training the cat to do it.......

Hello everyone! I finally decided to make a acct on FC as I've been using this site as a source for information for a while now. My first vape was the arizer extreme q then I got the solo about 2 weeks later once I seen how great vaping was. Well I went all out on a vape shopping spree today and just purchased a air (newest 2015 version) today on ebay for $170 shipped from VP which is a authorized dealer. I checked the tracking # provided by FedEx and it says my box will arrive tomorrow! That's pretty exciting since I didn't expect to get it at least until monday. I also ordered an extra battery from arizer directly due to warranty, as well as another PVHE straight shorty stem (already have one for my solo) and a PVHE 14mm gong for my hvy 9mm glass showerhead bong I ordered today as well from aqua lab for $300 including a matching ashcatcher for $130. I also ordered the s&b crafty today from s&b directly but they won't ship it until Monday since it's overnight shipping. I also got a ravpower 15000mah 4.5a power bank for it. But that's for another thread. I'm just glad to finally be a member of this community!
