I've been vaping for a couple of years now but have always missed a nice big bongrip. The combination of the Arizer Air and the d020 ensures I won't miss combustion ever again.

I hear good things about the vortex from carolking so I'm really tempted to give that one a try! Pay attention to her, she's one smart lady! I have a shorty turbo comin soon too hopefully

I will for sure grab a vortex the moment they are back in stock and for sale!! Thats the one i really want, but they are out of stock.

But I really wanna try one of PV's high efficiency stems and im not sure how long it will take PV to get more of the vortex so im thinking of grabbing a PVHES Straight stem while i wait since they are in stock!

From what i hear about all the problems with the inhalater this air blows it out of the water. Imo

Oh really? It is mainly convection? It looks somewhat less stealthy than the Inhalater what with the massive glass tube sticking out the top

My Air came with a poker stir tool thingy with a very sharp point on it. But i ordered 2 of the ones on the Arizer site and they are different, its not pointy, it has the curved flat end on it and it works excellently for scraping the vapor resin stuff out of the stems with mouthpieces... Just thought id share...

I just bought an Air and have owned the inhalater xp and have to say the air takes the cake. It seems to be a little more cloud-friendly and definitely tastes better (without the mouthpiece - I've developed a phobia of anything non-glass since the Solo and I fell in love with it a few years ago), but the inhalater is a bit softer on the draw and although it didn't seem to keep temp as evenly as the Air does, it's still a pretty great vape. :) For my money, though, Air all the way (or, if you're not looking for portability, a log vape seems to be the standard for efficient cloud chasing).

I guess i need to look up log vapes. Never heard of them.

I was looking at glass on a facebook closed/private group recently and was amazed how much things have changed. I have no idea whats going on with glass anymore. Use to you had a regular beaker bong or similar and that was that. The real fancy ones had a perc... Now im seeing all these oil rigs and recyclers and things im not even sure how they are used LMAO Times are changing.

Is there a vaporizer facebook group?

Had dueling Arizers going the other day at the weekly poker game! GB-187 with Claisen adapter, had a Solo on the main stage holding down the fort so to speak and the AA pulling double duty as the wingman on pull side! Yummy, got milk anyone?

With a name like WoodVillain I would imagine a log would be perfect for you! I bought what is now my third log, just this morning! Maple Burl exotic, can't wait. All this excitement has me up late, nightcap at 4:20 and off to bed, later Airheads!

Quick Question again:

Can we use Ebay brand batterys for the ARIZER AIR and use a different charger to charge the batteries? Has anyone done this? I have the same size batterys in my laser pointer thats why i ask, and a spare charger.

You could read all 127 pages and you will find lots of information.

If you want to avoid voiding your warranty and want to be a safe as possible only use the Arizer recommended batteries. I think the consensus is that the charger is not so "sensitive", worst case a bad charger will damage a battery but can't really damage the Air.

If you do want to risk using different batteries (remember voids warranty, is not advised) make sure that they are unprotected (no nipple for the plus), can be discharged at 5A and preferably have the safety standard UL 1642.

I am using Sony VTC4/5 and NCR18650B batteries and am pleased with the results. Watch out there are lots of fakes out there! I am only using these batteries because I already had them. If I had to buy new ones I would just takes the safe and easy route and buy the Arizer ones.

Great suggestion, they are handy tools IMO as well. They are actually very common in the real world, especially Aisa. The are metal 'ladle type' ear picks:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ear_pick

You can get them in many 'drug stores', and order online (Amazon or Ebay for instance). If you look around some it's easy to get them for a dollar or so each (shipped):
http://www.amazon.com/Silver-EarPic...F8&qid=1424345886&sr=8-1&keywords=ear+pickers

Personally I like the larger version with a better handle, easier to control, like this one:

Be advised many Doctors and other experts strongly discourage the traditional use (scraping out the ear canal) as scratches and ear infections can happen easily. I've never asked the doctor how he stands on using one to clean ones vape with. Or to load concentrates in pen vapes (another great use IMO). I suspect he's not keen on it.

This thread moves fast lol.

Still loving the air and feeling guilty I use it more than my herbalizer at home. I still only use blue, white, and green.. plus yellow through water.

Since getting my new unit on a warranty claim I'm choosing to not use the wider non-mouthpiece stems because the loose stems on my old unit bothered me. My new mp stem has wider holes in the bowl and mouthpiece and it makes a big difference.

My Nitecore D4 and 3 battery rotation is working great. Both spare batteries charge simultaneously to 4.20v in 1.5-2 hours.

Has anyone cut the Air skin to make replacing batteries easier? does it stay put if you cut off the bottom to expose the battery cap?

It's not massive at all. The 60mm stem is actually pretty damn stealthy.

I'm sorry but a 6cm glass tube is not stealthy by any means.

How low can the temp go on this? With the Inhalater I used to have it on low temps so that there was no visible vapour but still got me medicated. Used to take it to the cinema, it was that stealthy

I purchased a pinnacle hydrotube and a gong from planet vape, well the gong is the carbed one and the hole actually goes up into the hydrotube just where I cant reach it to cover it. so I used little piece of gorilla clear fix tape but do I need to have the air on a higher temp as I have never used any other vape with water beside my lotus. with it on high I do get good vapor but I have draw forever? is this normal or do I need to remove the tape from the carb or any ideas?

you can get this tape

The quick way is a broken off toothpick. The better way (what I'm doing) is a few turns of Teflon "Plumber's tape". The thin white ribbon with no adhesive. A couple turns on tight on it's own just fine. Mine has lots of miles on it. The material is fine at the temperature

i start at green with water and work my way up to red to get the most out of my herb. Its up to you really test the different temps and see what you like. Hope this helps

I don't have the Inhalater so I can't comment on how well of a vaporizer it is. It does look stealth but so does the Air with the short stem.

Did you purchase an Air portable? I didn't notice if you had. The flavor is really great on the lower temps with the short stem. The higher temps I need the longer stem. I've been really happy with my purchase no complaints here. It's a very versatile vaporizer and can be used in many different ways.

Being able to switch out user replaceable batteries on the go is really handy.

Have a wonderful Thursday AirHeads.

My new version 60mm's i just got straight from arizer are way tighter in my air than the ones that originally shipped with the air.
Yeah, just got another batch of stems & some are bigger than others.
While on the topic of stems, there's a lot of variation (including out of round) on Solo stems, not so much so on the Air stems I've seen. Also, please remember straight Solo stems came with the first batch (like mine), they cannot be consider taboo in Air for that reason IMO.
No Kidding! All 6 of my MP stems are .003"-.004" Out Of Round, with O.D. Varying by .007". But got one all glass 70mm gem that's actually round!

Yep, saving the wide steps for later

Maybe try it with MP stem to rule out the xtra air grooves on PVHES. PNWT should fit if 14mm.
