Gotta say if this is true, and I'm not doubting it, its extremely impressive considering the Liger, with saph and even with the AH coil and extra shroud, never seemed to preform (big clouds) for me much lower then 520ish IIRC and a quick random sampling of the 3.0 thread shows most flavor chasers were bottoming out around 510-560, sure it could dab a bit lower but your clouds would be gone and you'd be sucking on it for 5 mins. I wonder what the difference is? Id think the carb cap is most likely better to what we were using but thats still a pretty remarkable improvement over such a similar device.
Did you check the video I posted? I know we all have different definition of clouds, and lighting can massively effect how clouds look on camera, but, out of interest, would those clouds be what you'd expect at 418f?
I suppose my PID could be reading wrong? But I seem to have settled at 415f for a good middle ground between clouds and my lungs moaning
I'll take a dish reading later with the digital thermometer and probes I have.
As for temps compared to the Liger, I suspect the tbucket is more hefty weight than the Liger? The Liger looks thin and seemed to promote how much weight they lost with each revision. Maybe a side effect of that was the Liger losing heat quicker?
Never seen a Liger in the real world so Im completely guessing here.
