In my experience the ground glass set up works great for hands free. I use mine that way with water tools frequently.

I was referring to that specific wand that was shown, it doesn't look like that spherical GG wand will settle into place and sit securely like 7thFloor's gg wand.

Like you, I exclusively use the retail gg wand (concentrate one, in particular)

Just received my new ssv package and it's dope! Got the yellow/green Packers model (or Tampa Bay Rowdies, for you Floridians) and all the fixins. I'm gonna have fun testing the minicycler tonight...

It's worth buying the wax melts just to smell the box when you open it up!

Maybe I should get all three and do a comparison for you guys...

IMO, the problem is that you could compare 5 different SGG Heater Covers and they would all perform slightly different because of the placement and size of the inlet hole.

The issue I had with comparing all 3 combos is swapping the parts out and then re-dialing each combos sweet spot temperature. Would be nice to have 3 SSV's,

But I'd still like to see a comparison and your thoughts,

By far the lightest (temp vise) and thickest, smoothest clouds I've ever had!! Yes the only problem is that this particular setup takes up a lot of desktop space - and the biggest reason for that would definitely have to be the wand and whip tubing. Definitely more cumbersome to use than any log vape/waterpipe rig, however the high this combo produces is without a doubt second to none!

I keep saying the same thing. I can't get as thick low temp vapors from any other vape I've tried.

That is why I use the LSV w/SSV standard heater cover. Much smaller profile, you lift it to bring to the water pipe, and there is no whip tubing to get in the way or kink. I now only use the SSV dry and the LSV through water. Perfect combo.

You can rip it just like a bong too. No holding back with this Vape.. It still astounds me at how much vapor I exhale even after holding it in till I'm blue in the face .

Plus the glass is a lot thicker

ground glass heater cover - makes it a ton easier to pull out and stir between hits. To hook it all up I'm using an early wooden 18mm adapter made by Alan of Heat Island fame.

I did not know which attachments to get?

The NANO is super easy for me and I use a SOLO all day long.
When I miss my joint dayz I break out the LOTUS.
Sometimes I like to chasing flavor so I use the VAP2.

I have had other vaporizers that were stronger than I needed.
My daughter got Da Buddha and the clouds were giant the very first rip!

From what I understand it's the same heater is used for the LSV, DA BUDDHA and SILVER SURFER

I had a LSV however it was way too big?

Maybe the SS would suit me better?

I was using a Q and got use to the whip. (very nice but not as powerful) I thought I would like bags however found them weird!

If I can just leave the SS on 24/7 and take a power rip I'll reach my goal!

Now I need to figure out what heat cover and wand I'll need?

Ground glass is somewhat hands free, standard provides bigger hits imo, never tried the spherical. Hope that helps @ataxian

I'm really loving my second go around with the SSV. The minicycler is a joy to use, but the thing I'm the most stoked about is the aromatop! Just put it on top with about five wax melts and everything smells like vanilla (or whatever you want) instead of herbs. And the wax seems to last forever. I'm on the same five pieces through about five sessions since I got it. The wax cools and hardens between sessions for easy travel. Best smelling vape I've come across...

And, of course, the hits...

@Vitolo I've been away from FC and the vape game for a few years and I live in Asia as well so I don't really get updated. I have a friend in LA atm that's coming back next month, I was thinking of buying a pen to vape home made PURE extracted oil with, VIP any good?

Also oil attachment, which should I buy for my SSV (2012 model) I think. Standard tubeler wand and attachment.

Sure it is.
I had even more fun with the Essence pen that 7th Floor LLC sold
I use (and have used) many vape pens, and have found wonderful ways to use each.. and of course each has limitations... fuel for another thread, I am sure.

The standard bowl looks small.i watched tokin's vids and of course Vitolos vids years ago but could never justify the cost shipping this unit across the pacific.

Something's are meant to happen.i made it my business to ride the wave this year.very excited to get the chance to try out the surfer.

I have no idea of my my surfers colour.let us know how You go with the SSV when You have a moment.
