Mystified how she pulled that off, would make this the number one coverall vape if they could be made and sold this way...

This was another color cooling stem I got from Good Vibes Boro and it is fantastic!

I feel I should paste those photos straight into the out of context thread...

Sorry, I know my mind is in the gutter

I'll see myself out!

Edit- totally agree that the desktop mod is awesome and would make this one of the best vapes on the market

khelek41 gave a tip in reddit to drill into the air intake ... (i used a screwdriver to make sure the glass in the other side stays complete)
it definately works better with hash for me, better and quicker extraction. will try herb soon
edit: it's so great! no hotspot at all!!

Did it help with the RBT whistle?

Call me crazy, but I rely on the whistle as a draw speed indicator…

Early on in acquainting myself with the mi3 I used the heat feedback as my guide.
As I became more and more proficiently, I have stopped relying on heat feedback( it’s not as available with long stems, hooks, or through water).
Now, I find just the right pitch of the whistle and count to 6 (7 if I’m feeling roasty) for each button pulse.

Seem to get much more consistent results when temp stepping up a basket or going for single hit extraction.

Anyone else do this?

i enlarged the intake hole on all of my milaana 3’s from day one. i noticed my milaana 2’s had a larger intake hole so i just went up to that approx size. it did improve my results in more even roast and bigger hits. the milaana 3 heater is stronger too so it only made sense to bring more air in.

Interesting I've never wanted to do that with mine, and I don't have a whistle, you guys are probably ripping it pretty hard, I guess I'm still used to more sipping Milaana from training with the OG, for me the mi3 is still pretty perfect and much more effective and enjoyable to use than my mi2's, feels like the perfect evolution of my mi1's... My Oh My

Does anyone have a recommendation on what battery to use on an Milaana OG? Also, where to buy it. I’m not sure if something is wrong with my battery or my Milaana, I believe it is running cold. I can’t get Hogg temperatures on it with a charged battery. It could be that my battery is really old. The screw where the battery goes was loose, I tightened it and super glued it like Ryan suggested however, still low temperatures.

Best batteries, especially for single battery powered device, is Molicell P26A and I get em from 18650batterystore.com a few at a time since the shipping is reasonable there... Otherwise LG HE4 and HG2 were the classic in the past, can't go wrong with the Sony VTC5 if you want to spend more ofcourse

Thanks for the reply and recommendation. I will buy some of those! Is there any way to check if something is wrong with my device? Like why it’s not heating up enough? I will try a new battery, but what if it’s still running cold? Is there anything I can do?

Edit: I have been looking at the TinyMight but figure I have a Milaana. How do they compare? I know the TinyMight is regulated, but how do the hits compare?

Sorry I don't really know how to look into that, I would try to get in touch and send it to Uncle Mark or fear and lawyering or @MikeRotchHertz to test and tinker... I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with my canary mi2 because the body gets hot but there is not enough heat going to vape the load compared to my earlier walnut sapele mi2... My mi3 it's the one I reach for the most anyway... Full charge with the Sony or Molicell should be as fast and hot as it can get battery-wise, may not get too many bowls per se, but yeah I don't know how to fix if there's an actual problem

Thanks for the reply. My body doesn’t get hot. It does vape but I know it’s running cold because I can forever hold the button and don’t feel the air get way too hot, which I’m sure it should. Not sure if you saw my edit, how would you compare it to the TinyMight?

Has it always been that way though? Some of them are just tuned slower than others, so yeah you can try with the battery to give it a little boost, but yeah that's why I just use my Mi3 now... Not too often either, just mixed in for nice vapor quality, experience variety etc.

I didn't see the edit before, but we're not really supposed to do that here you know? I will say they are similar and a lot of ways practically, but the TM is much more practical and versatile next to the regulation and style (o-ring stem connections and full temp range dial) but the heaters are different

To be honest. I bought it, used it a few times and never really tried to hit high temperatures cause I was afraid to combust. I will try a new battery and hopefully it works better. The one I am using is from when I bought it in 2017 😂. I guess my question was, can the Mi put out vapor like the TM?

I have old batteries, it should still work fine to at least get one good bowl at a full charge, but yeah it's tough if it's not heating fast, that's why I use my Mi3, I can get a lot out of the old slower ones too but it's better to go hot and fast so you can really feel the heat using a short stem to get a sense, it's just a more involved experience, I will say in a sense yes it can put out the same level of vapor quality and thickness, robustness, but it takes more finesse to become an expert getting the most out of it, certainly the effects considerably similarly stony strong etc, these are both vapes where I could do a nice bowl leisurely in 5-20 minutes and be totally baked for the next couple hours lol

I guess mine may just be a cool running unit, but wondering if I can get it to run hotter? I like the TM but don’t know if I want to spend money on one since I like how the Milaana looks better. I just want it to be a bit more hot.

Yeah so one of the three people I mentioned before could help you with the answer of if it can be tuned to run hotter, now after the fact of being built and used etc... But yeah you can try using the P26A or VTC5A to give it a little power boost, and see if that helps you... Yeah the reason to get the TM would be because you like the design and want those extra features for practicality really...

I will try a new battery and then I will reach out to them. Thank you.
