Put a dab of wax on top of the pad, half the size of a grain of rice, I'd crank the temp up to 7, wait to assemble the coil, then when the temp is reached, connect it, give a couple of warming up pulls and you should get your dab from the second or third pull on. Enjoy.

If you ever try a J-hook on the Plenty, you would never use the s/s whip again, unless at a drunken party...hell. not even then. they usually come in pairs for way less than 1 standard coil. so who cares if one gets broken now and again(old fart. only 12-month owner)
I still have my near new coil and it still smells like the iron ore plant I used to work at!
But that is one of the good points of the Plenty. it comes ready to go for the newbie and easily modded/improved to personal preference.CE
I am still not sure if I like it with a J-hook better than through water in a bong, but it is fun retesting each to see which is the favorite....either way the s/s coil is not in the race...for me.

I need another portable to complement my Mighty first but eventually....i will have a Plenty.

I feel like the Plenty will be good due to my tolderance and I am not far removed from smoking daily

The Plenty is a 'Big League' appliance, indeed most people agree that the only draw back with the Plenty is, its a real thirsty 'herbal' guzzler, think Lincoln Navigator in terms of fuel performance but with Mercedes Benz engineering! But that's the only real draw back, cos when you put the right stuff in there,
ain't many vapes that can exert the potency that the Plenty delivers, and its all real quality potency - Storz and Bickel style - which means smoooth!!

Yes, but that's where the 'reducer' comes in, I use it pretty much exclusively,
but then I like to 'mini dose'. I think due to the large heat sink properties,
it's even better than the standard configuration, it's the very best appliance for Me.

Dont want to get too far off track but I suppose its all relevant.
For me personally, everything is situational.

Volcano - Love the consistency. This is what I use if I’m on the couch watching TV with my girl or just around the house and dont have anywhere to go and wanna be blasted. Obviously I have to get up a few times to refill my bag (i temp step) but it fills this niche for me. Its a desktop that becomes portable around the house.

Flowerpot - The showerhead is my newest vaping addition. Im still finding exactly how I like to use it. My intention was to have something that I could get ripped with very quickly. Still working on how to get the effects I like. A good contrast to a sit back and relax desktop like the volcano and the added dabbing functionality doesnt hurt its versatility either.

Mighty - My absolute favorite and most used vape. I use thing thing multiple times every day. Love the flavor, vapor production, and effects always get me to where I want to be. Use this in the car (sorry all who are opposed) or just anywhere around the house. Replaces the volcano when Im on the couch with my dogs laying on top of me so I cant get up.

I started into the vape world with a Pax 3 which I have since sold. I have a vapcap M but I havent used it since the first week I got it which was months ago. Was not getting the desired effects and Im not huge on the butane aspect or having to run multiple bowls in one session. Need to give it another try really.

So with all of that said, I think a pure convection vaporizer that could take some of the load off of my Mighty and add a different feel as a convection portable. Have been keeping an eye on the Ghost and have to do some more research on the HealthyRips lineup.

As for the Plenty...Im thinking something that I can pack a huge chamber and sit on the couch and watch TV/play games and just puff on...kinda like the Volcano but different enough for the low price for it to be worth it.

Sorry for the long post but it helps even me to see my train of thought sometimes...

I Love My Plenty, it suits Me perfectly, for my style of session vaping.
But, though it's not that expensive, I think it's overkill for most people,
who basically want to get Ripped, Quick.
I suppose it's also good for large doses and Long sessions.

One downside is the top of the cap is extremely hard to get off sometimes. Especially while trying not to dump the contents.

S&B sells a filling kit with everything you need to do so, there is also a nice 0.1g scale in it, other than 50 capsules and the filling kit itself.
I bought it with the same intentions as yours.
I never used it because I have many vaporizers and I don't use S&B ones exclusively. Other than that, I realized I don't want to decide in advance which strain to medicate with. I prefer grinding my daily needs inside vapcap med containers and filling my Fury 2 on the go or, if I use a vaporizer that uses SB capsules, to use the round capsule container that fills one at a time.
If you only have access to one single strain per time, like me not so long ago, it could be different.
as @ejackyou pointed out, for the Plenty you could be better served differently. Having many capsules ready is useful especially with the full portables like Crafty or Mighty, in order to avoid the oven go dirty other than to be more discreet in a public place. The oven of Plenty is removable so I find myself as well loading directly in side the oven. Because of that I'm to so worried to load directly since it is easier to clean than SB portable's oven.

Rather than use Dosing Capsules and since I'm stationary with the Plenty,
I just use a small Drip Pad if needed, with the Reducer, and can adjust the dose.
Just grind up as much as You like beforehand and you can refill Quick.

To be fair, I concede I did omit to mention the reducer, but I purposely did so because I find the Plenty to be at its optimum (imho) when its fully loaded, I find the Plenty ain't really doing it (the same) with the reducer, but that's just in my humble opinion, but I do note your point.

thanks for the feedback everyone. Im going to try the reducer without the caps first, and try the one they include in that set. If i like it, ill go and get the kit, but based on what everyone is saying, and other research i've done, it seems like I'll probably like it better without all the extra steps.

With that being said, does anyone find that that caps change the session while vaping? Is the air flow much more restricted? does it not cook as evenly? It seems like a cool idea, but adding more materials and steps tend to over complicate things some times.

Hoping to purchase mine this weekend! thanks again.

I've found that if you have a Mighty, a Plenty, and a Volcano, then you've covered all bases!
As alluded to by @crownroyaldaddy, the Mighty is the all rounder, it produces great vapor - as good as most desktops, and it can be portable when needed. Where the Plenty comes into its own, is that it can deliver lung filling vapor at quantities the Mighty can't match, but without any doubt, The Volcano is the best for obtaining all the THC etc from your herb. Its the only vape that can leave you wrecked from the leftovers (ABV) of the other two, and that is a truth!

I've found that the ABV from the Mighty/Plenty can be utilized quite nicely by the Volcano, but not the other way round...

I have tried abv from my Plenty in other vapes and I can get vapor but it usually tastes like shit! I have never tried a bag vape, never liked the idea of using so much plastic that can't be cleaned, only thrown out, I am not a greenie, but that seems wrong.

My Friend, As I clearly stated, ABV from the Plenty into the Volcano -certainly works, But as I pointed out - it doesn't work the other way round!

The Volcano is the undisputed (ABV) champion of all bag vapes.
PS: If you ain't tried a Volcano, then you ain't tried a bag, period!

As The DYSON is for the Bag-less system- So is The Volcano for the Bag system

Further to that, the 'forced' hot-air system on the Volcano ensures greater extraction, by virtue of these two factors the Volcano is the superior appliance for extracting vapor from ABV, imho

Bags look terrible, like you're huffing glue. They make weird crackling noises. Volcanoes and other fan driven units sometimes, for various reasons, dont always get super milky (most times they will once you get the hang of using them).

That said, bags WORK AWESOME. Taste and coolness is great. Sip as much or as little as you want at your own pace.

I've never used one in front of my wife though. LOL. She'd not be impressed. That's the rub with them--appearance; imagine walking in public with them? You can't because no one would....

I hate my Dyson vac (now used only outside for pet hair), I would punch that smug guy on the ads if I ever met him.
My Tera goes to 260C, WS even higher, but as I said, it would taste like shit, just because you can get vapor does not mean you want it...am I turning into a flavor snob?
