Hmmm, so this is the only thing putting me on the fence about this vape. I did read that
@pakalolo did some tests with empty Pax2 and highest temp with no plastic taste so that's good (although the mystery vapor /probably resin he reported made me a little nervous...) I sure would be curious to hear what happens if someone would do that same test before using the Pax2 at all to make sure none of that was off-gassing.
So, from Wikipedia, regarding PPS: "Maximum service temperature is 218 °C (424 °F)". So if the standard operating temps are "360-420(F) / 182-215(C), isn't that cutting it a bit close for comfort? So if the Pax2 heater is even slightly calibrated towards higher heat, then you could potentially get into the range of degrading that lid it seems at the highest settings, right? 4 degrees in (F) is not much of a buffer zone...
Still not a huge worry, as I tend to be done with my session after a few draws around 210/410 (on a vape with incremental control) and probably won't use the highest setting on the Pax 2 much if at all, but something to consider I think...
