How safe is it buying from a local hs in the near future? Has anyone had problems with fake Pax OG's in the past?

I like the darker blue from the first line, the bright blue appeals to me, but stands out a little too much IMO so I ordered black... but always wanted a purple one... maybe they should come up with silicone wraps that slide over and let you customize your color choices... wink wink and I think that layer would add protecion and make it easier to grip...

as far as buying from a local shop, I would contact pax to be sure they are a reputable seller for them, or just go with the main site, then you can sign up, and have very easy customer care available.

I believe someone from Pax stated earlier in this thread that the retailers should receive their orders within something like 2-7 days after the launch date. But don't quote me, 'cause I'm old and confused. :myday:

I hear you about the colors! i wanted amethyst too but the cobalt was beautiful too. You can find covers for the pax 1 on ebay so it should only be a matter of time before there are covers for the Pax 2 available.

I also have some rainbow holographic sign vinyl in various patterns that lasts a long time (tested it on some ego batteries), might just wrap mine in that for fun... now which color/pattern to choose from?? :D

Pre-ordered a Pax 2 the other day. It makes me very happy to know the pax people are interacting with the community. I've got a crafty and several friends with the pax 1. I'm curious to see which one becomes my main vape. I love the vapor my crafty gets me, but it's biggest setbacks in my mind are the battery life and look. Crafty looks like the now dated Iolite which looks like a walkie talkie.

Also, what's this about the Pax 2 playing funky town according to the Pax 2 megathread. Can someone who has the pax 2 explain any more detail about some of these "secret" features?

Yes! I did...I think they are both going to be great stealthy portables. I think the design and functionality of the Pax 2 and Grasshopper are different enough to warrant owning them both. I'm equally excited about the arrival of both devices!!

not sure I've read Buzz's, but I would just stress how long it continues to produce vapor. I've been continually disappointed with my other vapes. A couple good puffs, then quickly declining in size and quality, and it's even worse with a group. My first test was with 2 friends. We passed the new pax around and all had really good hits. The new heating algorithm really seems to make a difference (or is it because it's just new?)

And not having to worry about the mouthpiece-temp issue was just fantastic.

The original didn't seem to get my attention, this one however... It's a gorgeous little device, but so pricey. I just bought the crafty not too long ago, and this one is seriously itching the VAS. I didn't even know I had VAS. I must have contracted it from reading this forum too much.
