I posted here in the early past a name of a shop in Germany which has GHB3 Batteries in stock.
I drop in here periodically to renew my faith in man’s capacity for hope, but you and @Vaporific have my sympathies.Such is life..,
Thanks. At first their shipping info page indicated something not for the US but it did let me select US as a shipping address. It’ll cost me 70 Euros or whatever the current US$ conversion rate is (which is a few cents more than a Euro) and 50 Euros to ship via DHL for 6 batteries. Three of the batts are for me and the other would be for a friend. That’s about $20 per battery, and I had a discount code for HL too so they were about half as much. Of course they may never come and I’ll soon dispute the charge in a few days with my credit card company.I drop in here periodically to renew my faith in man’s capacity for hope, but you and @Vaporific have my sympathies.

Too much to spend; the device may fail before those batteries do, aside from the chance that some of the batteries are not very good out of the gate. It’ll cost me 70 Euros or whatever the current US$ conversion rate is (which is a few cents more than a Euro) and 50 Euros to ship via DHL for 6 batteries. That’s my contention - too much per battery. And cost really isn’t a factor for me but more principle at this point. And weaning myself off Hoppers (I have one working OG and one working IO, however). I love them but willing to let them go by way of dust when my current set of batts die. I won’t hold my breath HL will be resurrected and will move on like many others have. It’s a shame because when they work well, they really work well (as stated countless times herein). HL however just doesn’t work well - and now appears defunct. Almost time to move on…Too much to spend; the device may fail before those batteries do, aside from the chance that some of the batteries are not very good out of the gate.
Once I made the commitment to be done with the IO, it was surprising how quickly my feeling that it is a great vape dissipated and others that are actually better have come into focus.
What I have left are two non-working bodies, 1 non-working back end, and one full IO that sits in the drawer, gets used maybe once a month. Shocking heat comes out the air inlet holes (sporadically) and the temp dial can barely turn, it stays on 3.
Literally, out with a whimper.
Thanks! A shop after my own moniker . Still haven’t cancelled or disputed the HL order, and I have a few more days to do so before my credit card bill is due.Just saw that vaporific.ca (Canada) has ss io's and batteries in stock... weird!
Thank you.
The reported temperature range numbers don't agree. 130°C to 230°C isn't the same as 220°F to 430°F.
130°C to 230°C converted to fahrenheit should be 266°F to 446°F
If 220°F to 430°F is correct, the temperature for each of the five marks is approximately:
220, 272.5, 325, 377.5, 430°F
Nope - crickets via email with them several time about my battery order placed on July 13th. I was very polite and brief in my messages simply asking for an update. Over the weekend I’ll dispute the charge on my credit card bill before it’s due in early September. The HL ride looks to be over until my batteries run out.I guess nothing came of someone knocking on their door??????
From HL? Glad your IO is running again. My Ti IO has a gently used bronze anodized body which doesn’t look bad at all. I do think the new body has a different signature than the original, which I still have and works. But the circumference of the heating chamber can’t be bent back enough for easy on/off of the frontend (my own doing). Also got new batteries.
Yes, a couple of months back I ordered one and received two. Took 4-5 weeks to receive it. Noticed one day that package tracking info had been added when looking at the status of my order online. From HL?
You know there's just gotta be someone in here with 10 of these bad boys stocked up, drizzling those hot back ends all over their face as they read of our sorrows
Look at Bowle, and to the new version of that coming very soon.I officially disputed yesterday my HL battery order charge from early July. No issues doing so with my credit card company. I’m officially done with HL after 6 years. I won’t order anything else from them and let my current batch of working batteries go and wind down as long as they last. Then mothball all HL stuff. End of an era. I’m already looking into potential replacements which is more fun than attempting to deal with HL.
Bowle I wouldn’t consider portable. I’m not sold on the cup thing either as I drink mostly water for my daily liquid intake anyway. I know you don’t have to order the cup but I don’t think that’s for me. Indeed I’m seriously considering a TM2 as I love my OG TM. I still gravitate to portables and the flexibility they provide me. Hoppers are ultimate portables and very pocketable but HL is a shamble at this point. No regrets and no looking back. Onward!Look at Bowle, and to the new version of that coming very soon.
Extremely tasty and cool hits.
Or of course the TM2 is just around the corner.
Both are definitely a cut above the io.
I won't dwell on comparison, but Bowle is portable, if not easily pocketable. I take it in the car, out in the yard, etc., but not on a walk...Bowle I wouldn’t consider portable.
