I was asked on Vapelife to compare the square to other popular on demand portables. Here was my response. Let me know if you'd like additional details. Keep in mind I don't have a production unit just yet....Would definitely be interested in a comparison between the 2. The idea of no stirring seems to be one of the strong points

Honestly this is all too subjective but I'll throw a few comments out.
I never tried the MV1 but I do have a buddy sending me one to try.
Own a FW3 but never tried the FW4. For me the FW3 was ok. It had nice taste but getting dense vapor was a challenge and it was also hot. My vote would be to the Square on this one.
Grasshopper is in my collection and gets used occasionally. Mainly through water or with a J hook because again the vapor is hot and the mouthpiece gets hot. Density probably goes to the Hopper over the Square but it beats out most portables and it's not that the Square is lacking. Taste is different but probably on par with each other. They are both using a metal airpath instead of my preferred glass where I think the taste takes the edge.
Mist Touch was not all that impressive to me. I tried one on loan. Part of it is because I'm a big Milaana fan and I really don't feel the MVT compares. I can get much more consistent tasty vapor out of the Milaana without some of the hot spots the MVT gives. I would take the Square any day here..
Elevape I have not used in a long time. I could never get consistent results here either. I had some of the best vapor ever but also many combustion events/hot spots so just moved on. Again I would take the Square any day.
The other thing is I continue to tweak (firmware and heat settings) and I still don't have a production unit. I was one of several beta testers provinding feedback so I am interested to see the culmination of all our feedback with the final unit. We didn't share information during the testing.
Bottom line for me is I still probably prefer the vapor quality of my glass air path on demand convection vapes like the Milaana, Splinter, Zion and Tubo but the Square offers features and convenience those don't so there is a place in my collection for it. I also think it will shake out to be one of the best values on the market at this price point. Under $200 is pretty amazing for what you are getting here.
