The ghost mv1 is like those good haze Square hits except every time and not only when the stars align and Jesus permits it. Mv1 uses much less herb.
All in all, the mv1 just takes much less effort all around for me to get what I desire.
I'm with AJS on this.
I grabbed a Ghost as I was waiting on my Square to be repaired (2nd time), and when I finally got my Square back, I found I didn't want to put down my Ghost.
When the Square works/worked, it is fantastic. But there is too much work involved (grind, packing, technique) and too many parts to clean with the Square. The Ghost MV1 (newest stealth version) reminded me that vaping is not supposed to be this much work.
I really like the Square, in concept and design. So much so that I put up with a lot of inconsistency and allowed for kinks to be worked out. But, in the meantime, I found the MV1, and now my Square sits on a shelf, next to an elf.
Micropods might change this, especially if they come with top screens to limit how often I have to deep clean the square.
I find the MV1 pods/crucibles a little small, but that might be because I was getting used to the full pods of the Square.
If you have a choice between the two, personally I would recommend, at this time, the MV1 (with the extra crucibles and extra battery).
For customer service, I've had great experience from both (though haven't needed much with my Ghost).
