Thanks; that's true but I'm assuming the PA will generate enough power for S2 convection and as I'm going to be using the vape pretty much exclusively at home I'm not sure I need the S2 battery set if the PA is just around the corner. I looked at a whole host of plug-in vape's but the FlashVAPE is the only vape I have seen that specifically says it will cope with pressed material and has such a short heat-up time that I think the transition from combustion to vaporisation will be a lot smoother and more likely to stick ;)

The PA will definitely provide the heat you need. I don't see FlashVAPE bundling it with the PA though, since the spacer and screen are sold separately for $8.90. Because we don't know how soon the PA will be available, you might want to get the S2 batteries. The S1 batteries can deliver the heat needed for the hash you use, but it will take longer to reach vapourizing temperatures and you'll run the batteries down a lot faster. The S2 batteries will give you a nicer experience and also give you the option of using S2 batteries without a spacer in place for that extra oomph. Hash doesn't like to vapourize and you might appreciate the help.

Thanks pakalolo, I appreciate the advice. Good thinking Sir! :science:

OK, looks like I just need to confirm VapoShop are authorised and i'll soon have my hands on my first ever vape

I may well move to bud at some point but I'm sure my wallet won't appreciate the change :ugh:

Hi KadFlyer, nice to see you here! you've definitely found the right place to have your vaporization questions answered :)

the FV is one of the only vapes on the market that has the power you need to vaporize solid concentrates. You will find that S2 batteries will give you a faster vape experience when using solid concentrates, as the power and heat the FV generates on S2 is fast and intense!

You can certainly make your purchase from VapoShop, we are very easy to work with and you don't have to worry about warranty issues. I can assure you that we will take good care of you if there are any issues with your FV...customer satisfaction is always our no.1 priority here!

Hello,

In the market for my first vaporiser after giving up the nicotine and missing getting stoned. A friend has recently bought a volcano.....which has started a chain of events leading to this. The FV was the one that caught my eye and after the posts on here....I'm sold.

Not many uk retailers but managed to find one and order being placed. Hopefully I can perfect the best way to use it but have no doubt that there will be plenty of assistance in here if I get stuck.

Keep up the good work guys

Lately i have began liking the Flashvape a lot more than i used to. At first i didn't use it a lot for months. I didn't like the form factor a lot either. For me it was an occasional vape. But the more i used it, the more i began to like it.

There is a reason for the design. It feels amazing in your hand when you use it, and you realize why it had to have this design to make it work. I like to see the vapors through the glass when i inhale, and it is very capable of delivering fast and hot. So much power that you have to be careful not to burn it.

I do not own the Stage 2 set yet. I haven't had much interest in it, since i already have great results with this thing as it is. Is it really that much better? Because i need more batteries for this thing now, and the Stage 2 batteries are different. So i need to decide in which ones to invest now.

Can somebody who has used both give me his honest opinion?

I've used both modes a lot, but I prefer S2. You'll have to get a new charger as well as new batteries, along with the S2 spacer. If cost is a concern, just get new S1 batteries. If you can afford an S2 kit then it is worth trying. The difference isn't so big as to make it compelling.

I've been hunting for a new vape, and I really like what I'm seeing with Flashvape. The only drawback for me is the lack of a power adapter - I'm using it at home, and really don't want to keep changing batteries. So I'm really happy to see that a PA is coming soon!

Two questions, if you please:

1. The obvious: what's the latest timeline on the PA?
2. Will it be an add on, or will it accompany a new version of FV?

Thank you!!!

Hi damnedcold, glad to see you here!

The PA is coming along, but we have unfortunately meet with a a couple of small delays in sourcing parts for our first production run. We are working on it, and the ETA is pushed back probably to toward the end of Jan '14. We really want to get the PA out asap for everyone to enjoy (the prototype has been performing wonderfully), and we think it will be a HUGE leap forward!

The FV PA system will be an add-on system, which will have a special base attached to the power wire. User simply removes the main on/off switch base of their current portable FV, and attach the PA system to the FV using the PA base attachment, and a passthrough dummy battery in the handle/battery compartment. The PA base will features a tripod style design which allows the FV to freely stand upright on its own, just like the portable version, while accommodating the custom made "super flexible" silicon wire which comes out from the bottom.

@FlashVAPE will the PA work with the first run FlashVapes as well as the newer design? The Pa would move the FV way up in my Lineup and would get a lot more use.

I can answer that since I already asked @FlashVAPE that question in a PM. Old style FVs will be able to use the PA but will lack the ability to stand up while it is attached. In other words, the new base that allows this does not come in the finely-threaded base version.

Thanx @pakalolo. I'll just have to wait until I see it, I'm sure I can find a way to make it stand up somehow or save a few months and pick up a newer FV.

All in all I really like my flashVape But its my only vape I can kill batteries with in a couple months. With the PA it easily would be my daily driver. It would seriously be hard to beat the flavor or ease of use. With the FVS2 and Vapolution 2 Full flavor is coverd and can't get much better.

Argh, guess I'l have to turn an adapter for the power adapter!

Hi, I received my second replacement unit yesterday (so this is my third unit...), I bought it in April, Like last times the unit works really fast the first times, so fast that I need to put 2 spacers if I don't want to combust (it happened one time...) I hope this unit will be the one, it seems that nobodies have issues with the FV and I like to vape my kief with it.

I ordered 2 news 3.7v that I received with the unit and FV put in the bowl 1 new screen and a thick spacer as a gift (unfortunatly it comes break in 2 parts but it works...) Thanks FV, awesome CS!

ps: sometime when I push on, the LED don't shine and the unit don't heat, but it seems to me that this happen just with all my old batteries, with the new ones there is no problem... perhaps a long time without use kill them, is it possible?

Happy end of year!

When you insert one of the batteries that don't work, does it rattle when you shake the FV?
