I wouldn't say leaving it on was the reason.
I put an inline switch into a cheap extension cord that makes it much easier to use the nano. I can flick it on or off and not have to unplug or mess with the dial.My maple, a little over a yr. old, is on all the time at 6.25. No crack. I mean to turn it off, and do manage to do so once or maybe twice a week, but I have a hard time. My brain wants to know that things are always ready at any given moment. And my need for discretion (my nano is very discrete, tucked neatly out of sight behind a stack of books) prevents me from easily plugging and unplugging, turning up and turning down. Anyway so far so good as far as cracks are concerned.
many thanks, i'll check it out
There are some things that are special about me.
My e-nano is one of them.
@DarkSm0ke if the glass doesn't fit over the heater stem, then it's dodgy glass.
There was a batch a while ago that were a bit wonky and didn't fit the heater well (I had one).
I did think that had been sorted though tbh. If it's a new stem from a recent order I'd contact Andy and he'll sort you out a new one no prob
That is the first burl I've ever seen crack. I would be surprised it it continues all the way down. Standard woods like cherry, walnut and maple have parallel grain structures so if they crack it runs down the grain. Burl wood grain patters are random, they may check a little if dried improperly but they rarely if ever crack. If you ever want to return it. It's covered. Just get an RMA from Carissa when you're ready. My nano has developed a crack. I've had it a little over 3 weeks. It's not that big of a deal to me, and I don't feel the need to do anything about it, but I thought that I would mention it. It happened the first time that I left it on after use. I usually turn it off, but left it on for about 2-1/2 hours at around 6.25 on the dial. Didn't notice the crack until the next day. It's a maple burl, now with a little added character.
Is straight beeswax good to put on the nano or does it need some oil in there with it?
I have no clue what I should be thinking of getting
Hello E-Nano community. I would appreciate any help with a simple question. I am visiting home in the US and before returning to my overseas residence I will purchase the e-nano after reading all the positive comments here. I also just bought a Firefly 2. As I live in a far away place without any vapeware I want to be sure to leave with all the essentials. I am new to vaping, never done it once in fact, I have no clue what I should be thinking of getting (though I've decided against a water pipe add on). If you happen to have any ideas please respond so I can set the e-commerce in motion. Thanks.
Just had a quick question, I'm totally new to glass but really liked the idea of using a water pipe with the nano. I bought "http://www.dhgate.com/product/d020-bubbler-hand-blown-glass-vase-perc-water/175832535.html" along with the 18/19mm gong adapter from epicvape. I just wanted to know if this was the right combination of sizes? The bubbler is listed as having an 18.8mm opening.
Concentrate stems are super easy to clean, just soak in iso.Great suggestion, only just starting to get into concentrates as well but I can see how that would be useful. I bet a gong you've put flowers in would be easy to clean but probably not so much for concentrates.
