Tried multiple outlets. I do have a multimeter but don't have time to dig out batteries for it and mess with it now. Tonight I will give it a shot though, good idea. Thanks!
If you're sure your cord is all the way in, sounds like something must've gotten shaken loose inside during shipping. Don't think we've heard of a DOA on here in a while, and pretty sure Andy still runs them for a day or so in the shop to test. I'd get with them ASAP to get a new one out to you. As always, PM Nadia here if you don't hear back in email. I'd even give a call if you don't hear back on that quickly. Am sure they will get a replacement right out to you.
Anyone with the Nano also have the Arizer Air? I just got the nano and I'm looking for another hard hitting portable cuz my mflb just isn't cutting it anymore, and I know Nanoers know how to spot good hard hitting vapes.
I have a solo that is OK, but am really forming a solid relationship with my vapman. Know I've been mentioning it a lot here in inappropriate thread, but this issue keeps coming up! Vapman uses a butane jet lighter for heat, but you don't heat it while you're hitting. Takes a little practice to get your technique down, but very versatile. Can produce light vapor, heavy vapor and even do concentrates or hash with optional screens. Quite a nice little vape and cheaper than even the solo. This
site sells them stateside and has some very cool options with burnished wood and laser engraving. Seller is an FC member, too.
If there's ONE thing I don't particularly like about my Nano (and only one thing), it's the controller. I just can't see it in low light conditions.
I like to sip my vape, usually over a couple of back-to-back sessions, one session at 6.5 and another at 8.0 to finish it off. I am getting old and it's getting harder to see and I always have to break out the "flashlight" on my cell phone to illuminate the dial when I want to change the temperature.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Nano. But if there's one area that could be improved on this vaporizer, it's the temperature controller. I would love to see some sort of LED display, either a digital temperature display, or some sort of bank of LEDs that light up in succession the higher you go in temp (as seen on the Arizer Solo).
C'mon Epic! Let's see an LED display in the Nano 2.0 !
Eh.... I'll pass on the LED lights. Not a big fan of them and like that Andy uses lower cost options to keep the nano reasonably priced for us.
You may want to try some finger nail polish. I had some glow in the dark stuff on an older dial. It was OK, but didn't glow for long and had to be "charged" with bright light. But, YMMV.
For me, my new method works better. I discovered it by mistake, but isn't that often the case with such things? I put clear coat nail polish on the dial to protect the numbers. What I found is that you can kind of score the shiny finish with a fingernail or even the e-pic if you're careful. It is pretty easy to see even in low light. Just move the dial assembly around (the whole thing, not turning it up and down) and you can see your lines where it doesn't glare/reflect as much. Actually harder to see the triangle you line up with on the housing. But, it is in the middle so as long as you are looking at the proper side you're good. Even with my tired old eyes I can see the marks on the dial with just the light of the TV.
Farmers Cannabis Market? I'll probably die of old age before I see one of those in my state.
No doubt!! Every time I see similar posts it makes me start calculating the costs to pack it all up and move to a friendlier state! Don't even really need a farmer's market or even dispensary. Would be plenty for me if they would let you just grow two plants for personal use. I'd probably have more than I knew what to do with! But, in these parts that would now be considered "manufacturing". Definitely not a charge you want to be facing.
