Try a solvent stronger than ISO. Mineral spirits, nail polish remover, even WD-40 may work. Just make sure to wash is well after.

I prefer 18mm GonG's!
Have you tried torching it??So far I've tried goo gone extreme, 91% ISO, and several other cleaners with no success I'm not sure what this residue is, it kind of looks like it could be melted plastic from the plastic tube it came in. Even after all the solvents I've used it still doesn't come off at all if I scrub it. I'll probably end up sending it in and/or asking for a new one. Luckily I've been able to use the silicone from the GonG to attach the straight tube to my piece, even with the setback I'm lovin' this thing.
No check out I-offer or you're LHS local head shop @ataxian can give u better places to look.Do they sell adaptors on the website??
Maybe an exzacto knife I think I fucked up that word. LolHave you tried torching it??

Tomorrow I learn to multi quote and I'm going to figure out how to get my or an avitar. I tried to put a giff in it didn't work. Lol
The only residue that is possible is graphite which is used in the molding process. Soap and scrub pad are usually enough to remove it, or get an RMA and we'll replace it. Small cracks are normal, add character and are nothing to worry about. If the crack turns into a split it will be replaced as well.My nano just arrived and there are some problems. The GonG piece has some sticky residue on it(like tape residue with fibers and what not stuck in it) and its proving difficult to remove. I took off the silicone piece and have been vigorously shaking it in a ISO and salt solution and alas, it's still there. My second issue may not really be anything at all but, there's a small crack/scratch on the nano. This is probably nothing, I'm more worried about the residue on the Gong piece as it is keeping me from using the vape!
P.S. Other than the crack/scratch the nano is beautiful, that is for sure!

@Ratchett hit all the nail's on the head pre heat and get I chop stick or wooden skewers. It does not meet my expectations.
Welcome!
Your experiences are NOT different. Most of us had the same impression to start.
Here's the trick with log vaporizers - LET IT HEAT UP! You cannot turn the Nano on, and vaporizer 5 minutes later. I highly HIGHLY suggest you give the vaporizer 20 minutes to heat up to the temperature yo uset before you use it (I personally leave my Nano running at 6.5 all day long, all night long, for months at a time)
I would never go close to 10 with a fully pre-heated nano.
50 watts should be more than enough to use the vaporizer.
Also, measure your basket depth - your basket screen should be 15mm deep (The notch on your e-pik is approximately 15mm long)

That way u can adjust from both ends. The screen that is .HaHa My couch ate my E-pic so once I find my sweet spot I slide the nylon to mark my spot .Hope this helps
My nano will put me in a coughing fit. 6.4 for me.
I'm the minority use mine 99.9% dry.
I have to be sick to break out GB-187
Maybe try practicing with the dry stem and no water pipe. With a clean stem you can see the vapor and learn how to controlled the density. Thanks for your tip!
I actually let the vaporizer heat up on the highest setting for an hour. That gave me one small cloud.
I might be using it wrong. I used to take 30-40 seconds inhale with my Firewood 2.1, so I also inhale somewhat slowly even with the D020-D. I guess my inhale lasts about 15-20 seconds with the e-nano and D020-D.
As for the distance between the heater and basket. I followed a woman's advice on YouTube. Apparently one if the users here on FC made a 13 minute tutorial for the e-nano and put it on YouTube.
Check out: Oregon Glass Blowers, ebay, dhgate or your local smoke shop.Do they sell adaptors on the website??
Heating for 1 hour should be enough time.I think I'll try both of your tips tonight. I'm also going to let it heat up for more than an hour. Thanks!
Sounds like it might be your converter. You can buy a 'Kill a Watt' for about $20 plug it in and see how many watts your Nano is drawing at '10' It should be a tad more than 14 watts or there is a problem with the converter.Hello all!
My e-nano came in the mail yesterday, along with D020-D. I already have a Firewood 2.1, but was looking forward to denser clouds. It does not meet my expectations.
The problem is that it doesn't get hot enough. So I tried to torch the herbs by setting the dail to 10, but the AVB stops at light brown. Can I adjust the dial, so my 10 can be a 5?
I should mentions that I use a 50w step down converter. I'm also using a bubbler with the e-nano for the first time as well.
