E-Nano from Epickai

Im thinking of getting an enano for myself, I have a volcano but it would be nice to have a nano for solo use. How reliable are log vapes and how would you consider the power of one compared to a volcano/VX Evo. I used to own the evo but was not happy with the risk for failure in the unit.

The biggest negative vs cloud+ is the draw restriction. Its not bad at all but alittle less open. Now from what I understand evo is more restricted compared to cloud+ so the difference is probably even less. Another negative is the dial, its a little more cumbersome than VXL. But in my opinion nano, brings many positives to the table. Its so small and light, a nice change from large+heavy cloud+, glass pipes are alot more stable with the nano. Durability, efficiency, and price are all other benefits.

I find the nano compliments the volcano and is fantastic addition. Your weed bill will thank you. Volcano bags are great for kicking back, take alot less effort than the nano. If you have ever tried using the volcano with water pipes you will know how bad it is at this task (at guess as expected), nano fills that water pipe void. Its a great daily vape. Volcano is great for groups and also when you are busy doing other tasks (movies or games for example) and more convenient to just have a bag to sip on.

My ENano has been on 24/7 for most of its (long) life, running at 6.5 now, used to run at 7.

I do rub it lovingly with Ed's TNT Bomb Ass Butter every few weeks, along with my stem from Ed... beeswax w/coconut oil would do the same... BAB smells good. I think my tin will last for years.

Mine hits the floor repeatedly. It has a tiny chip on the upper edge from a knock against my bedside trash can... Never a problem.

LESS IS MORE! Get your screen CLOSE, and use LITTLE herb. Try it at 5, then move up the dial, hit at every mark, until you taste "toast"... now, start messing with load sizes & temp. But first, see what a bare layer on the screen will do for you, at about 1mm from the heater port.

OMG, this is exactly why I moved to the e-nano. Just the tick in the back of my head worrying me that at any given point I could flip my (I had the Cloud+) unit on and it wouldn't heat up. Drove me nuts. At $400 a unit, I feel I shouldn't need to worry about that.

The nano cannot handle the same size loads as the EVO, but it has enough power to produce as big clouds. The difference is the nano can do it with less material needed.

And as always, I feel the nano handles hash/oil better because it uses more direct heat from the heater instead of the evo using second hand heat.

I got a muad dib for mine, but thanks for all the input I think the nano will be my next purchase after I sell my rig

What is the smallest load anyone has done in the e-nano? I am looking for a vape that can extract .015-.020 grams of herb in one or two inhales but still be beastly enough to extract large amounts fairly quickly even if a lot of stems need to be packed.

I don't think you have a problem imo. I thought the same with mine and have never combusted, even when I tried to just to see if it would. My nano works flawlessly with concentrates I wouldn't be worried. Hold off on spending more money till your nano is a bit broken-in and you try ur concentrates. If it doesn't work with ur concentrates, which I doubt then try to fix it. But I don't think anything is wrong

For concentrates I use the 18mm fixed glass screen gong with a cut to size S&B SS oil pad and it's AMAZING!!!

To be exact I use the all glass gong, two flat metal screens and the S&B oil pad. There is little to no leakage beside the normal amout of reclaim from vaping oil IMO.

Yeah, I don't care for cotton and concentrates - I can taste the cotton (even though I'm supposedly using unbleached 100% organic cotton balls).

I have a spare GonG which I dedicated to concentrates. I use an Herbalizer Aromapad (stainless steel pad) stuffed into the GonG. I use it to vape reclaim mostly - had a few sessions this weekend pulling massive clouds using this setup. - Ran my Nano at 8.75 to 9 the whole time

I had issues with the concentrate running through the Aromapad when I was running at lower temperatures (around 8). But once I stepped it up to 9, the concentrate vaporized nicely without any "leaking"

The new gongs are shorter, there is no room for adjustment. And the screen has to go in basket style.
It works but only with very small loads.

Sorry to hear about this, and apologies to @hafalump about questioning it first time he posted about the new GonG! Hope @ACE OF VAPE is already working to correct this. Screen adjustability is key to the best nano use. And, while I love Joda stuff (have a couple pieces and more on the way) think Andy should provide a good GonG at a decent price. Joda stuff is prettier and customizable, but IMO Andy should have a decent GonG available at a fair price on the Epic website. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him pop on and say this one is already being corrected. The GonG adapters have had several updates I know of over the past couple years, and really hope the next one addresses this problem.

I plan on purchasing the e-nano either today or tomorrow, Ill be getting the walnut to match my muad'dib . So essentially I just need the regular kit and gong adapters? I would like to use it with a water pipe. Anyone have a preference between the all glass and the one with adjustable screens?

Not sure just how bad these are, having not seen one myself, but best way to connect to water piece is through a properly functioning GonG adapter.

They show both all glass and adjustable screen GonG's on Andy's site. I like the all glass myself and need a new one. Mine has a crack in the middle piece, but it still works. I think it was heat realted, because I have never dropped it or banged it against anything. I'll probably try a newer adjustable later, but the all glass is easy to keep clean and I can adjust load size as needed no problem. Let me go try out a couple of pack sizes and see how it works right now. More testing is needed ASAP...

Don't think all glass stems or adapters are available or still being produced. IMO, you don't really want one anyway. They may be just a tad better for concentrate screens, but can do the same with adjust-a-bowl screens. Adjust-a-bowl GonG adapters (up until recent run at least), allow you to tweak your usage.

what an amazing little log this is. i love everything about it! i've only used it so far with the aromatherapy cup...works like a champ! cup is a bit loose but guessing it needs to be that way...the blue pinch handle keeps it in place and have no concerns of it falling off... can't wait until i can put it thru its 'other' purposes!
