A short usually results in something getting fried, since it's current being sidetracked down the wrong electrical path. With an open circuit, you could have loss of operation or heat, which would be restored when the proper circuit is remade.

Go to the website and get an rma and send her back. Like Max said, It's not a short. A short would cause the triac in the dimmer to fail and the nano would no longer recieve any power. Most likely you have a break in one lead on the cord causing an intermittent open circuit. It's covered under the warranty.

I had an awful dream last night. But at least I now know how much I love my nano :lol:

I had a dream I was in the the shower and I had my nano plugged in and had it sitting on a rack of shower items right under the faucet head!

I picked it up to hit it and realized the light had gone off and there was a little water pooled up on the inside. I dried it out frantically and it came right back on and started hitting again perfect.

Then I realized I was dreaming because I would never bring my nano into the shower, so I woke up and did 2 gongs out of my pulse showercap.

I don't think even a solo has made it into my dreams. This might be my inaugural dream vape.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the aroma therapy bowl they sell on the epicvape site? I was inspired by Snappo's aromadog and was wondering how sucessful people have been with the enano. I figure if my enano is going to be heating all day anyways it might as well make my room smell dope. I thought I remembered some people saying that it fit too loosely and didnt work that well.

The UD copper cup comes outfitted with a very heat resistant nylon(?) ring at the top. The ring can be moved down to the level you need to stabilize the cup on/in the Nano rim so that it doesn't wobble around. UD can probably provide extra nylon rings so you have one to stabilize and one to enable safe contact. See pic below:

I will probably look into the UD copper cups, that seems like my best option. UD's and Enanos have a pretty similar sized opening I am guessing? I no longer have my solo aromatherapy bowl. Figured I would never need it haha

I will probably order some of the arizer screens that fit in the bottom of the gong while I am at it!

I just tried the copper cup & nylon ring (positioned about 1/4" from bottom) with the Nano. Since the Nano heating rod tip is very near the top of the Nano, the nylon ring needs to be positioned perfectly so that the cup is able to make direct contact with the rod tip while resting in/on the Nano rim. The copper cup is much more stable and wobbling is greatly reduced, but the unit should still not be bumped too hard. I find that it does work very well for what we want!

I had to sell my vaporizer collection because the NANO is so much better?

Not pissed in the least! Don't know how you got that notion. Anyway ...I like the D-2020 can size because my lung capacity is way shy of optimal, and the overall simple design, height, and mouth piece angle is perfect for me. The price was right too!!! EDIT: Don't wish to derail this thread with off-topic discussion.

The D020 is a great bubbler. I paid $29 delivered to my front door!
I use it a lot!
I pull out the D022 tonight and filled the GonG with Girl Scout Cookies that is common in California.

Flavor unreal!

I'm just messing around and Medicating no hard feelings!

Can anyone recommend a place for the molded arizer screens that fit in the bottoms of 18mm gongs? I noticed PIU carries them but only at 6.99$ for 2.

Ya I ordered the screen kit knowing I only wanted the two dome screens. They are softer than my original screens that came with the Extreme Q. I don't know if they get theirs from somewhere else or they might all be that way now? When I scrape them with the E-pic I can cave them in if I'm not careful. They are fine I just baby them a little. They are also skinny and I again use the pic and stretch out the sides and they stay in. Has anybody else noticed the change or difference?
