Hey first time poster here. I have a few portables but I was looking into this vape. It looks very impressive. I had a question i was hoping someone could answer. If I was to order some wood from Snappo would I still be paying the full price listed on the Enano website or is it cheaper since I'm buying the wood?

So no, you don't get a discount since you are supplying your own wood. the nano is out for delivery =).. i dont know what the one day delay was at the post office, but it passed customs and is on the route to me.. will give my opinion after a few sessions to get familiar. only other vapes i have are solos + gong n fbomb since april 2014, before that ive been a spliff n blunter for 7+years.

so i received my walnut e nano (yay finally after all the posts from being impatient lol thanks everyone for puttin up with it, and thank you very much @ACE OF VAPE for all the help, email response, and great packaging even tho customs went through it lol). didnt know it came with carrying case and a tube. what are the silicon cuts for anyone? and is there a burnoff i have to do like the solo? thanks again FC

edit:also i couldnt find the cotton that was suppose to be included.. where can i get ss balls for oil

edit: finished testing a little, started 6 dry then upped to 6.5 then 7.. coulda got more but dropped the load on the floor as i was removing the stem from the vape (rookie mistake) very conservative vaporizer..
loaded a pinch into the gong through d020-w at 7, didnt get noticeable vapor but felt the kick.. turned it up to 8.25 and bam, slapped in the face.. a few more tokes as im writing this and im baked outta my mind.. hits hard.

impressions: nice small package, smaller than expected.. love the wood look. very efficient.. didnt expect it to use less than the solo, but damn everyone on here isnt lying when they say they load up less than a .1. coming from the solo, the e nano feels like it has no draw restrictions lol.. thats a + aswell because the heater can keep up with heavier pulls.. especially for friends that are use to smoking joints etc..

Overall i am glad i purchased this product, reading this thread and seeing first hand customer service and how happy everyone is with their nano made me jump the gun lol. ordered it on the 10th and received it on the 24, international shipping.. well worth it. will be experimenting with shatter tonight, if anyone can give me some tips i would greatly appreciate it.

My tips for shatter:
use chopstick to move bowl slightly higher
Use q tip cotton pulled as wide & thin as can be and wrap less wax than you think.
Cotton is needed to absorb wax. If not enough cotton wax melts through screen and fills sides of tube.
Too much cotton. Dry hits, little vapor. Burning smell and taste. Do Not let cotton hit heater once inserted.
I have Enano set to 10. doesn't burn cotton and vapes wax instead of melting it.
I get up to (I think 50 is when I quit counting, biggest hunk) 20 hits or thereabouts. I use a clean toothpick to toss ball about the chamber after 10 hits.

You will use Nano at 90 degree angle unless upside down for bong. It will be parallel to the ground, straight away from bowl.
Wrap shatter with cotton. Make a pull from Q tip. About 25% of tip. Make it as thin and wispy (stretch in all directions) as you can. Drop wax into middle and roll. Pre heat Nano for 10 minutes. Drop in bowl, suck in air to make it seat on bottom. Go get a hit using the wa wa suck (like a milkshake) filling and clearing chamber over and over till satisfied. There is a cool video posted (hint hint)

I was using the old glass pipe attachment piece before, and the metal part of the E-Nano would go about halfway down into the bowl and then stop, which is what I assume was the intended functionality. However, on the new one, the metal part only goes in just a tiny tiny bit (maybe a millimeter?), not nearly halfway down the bowl like the old model. Also if I try to push it down any further, it just gets stuck, something that never happened with the old model. Has anybody else experienced this? Intended, or should I contact them for a replacement piece?

I'm not having problems moving the adjustable screen up and down, I'm having problems with the E-Nano not being able to "mate" very well with the top of the bowl.

I have one stem, from way back, that has the same issue. the glass tolerances are just a bit too tight.
Contact @ACE OF VAPE ... use the customer service thing on the website... for a replacement.

I do use my "tight" one, occasionally, I just have to hold them together while I do.

I think maybe there was a QC issue with the crimping/stamping the glass...Andy will replace it no hassle. The Gong's are an incredible deal for $14....especially for such incredible thick quality...thanks Andy.

The crimp should be about a 1/2" (1cm) down...not 1mm.

soo.... after having another session with the new nano, im realize im trying to get it to perform like the solo: like load a bowl, turn it to 5, getting heavy vapor and have a 12 min session ending at 6. how do i replicate that with the nano? what temp settings is best for that and most likely i would have to use more herb instead of a .05? and also i notice it gotta take a few hits with the gong + bubbler before i get clouds into the bubbler at setting 8.. whitewalls but it kills the load fast, and starts to taste bad quick... with the solo i can get a good 12 minute session on 6 with gong.. im not doubting the nano as it already blown me away... but just trying to figure out different techniques with the nano.. thanks ahead for any advice

First, read the thread like you probably should have instead of informing us of every tracking movement while you were waiting for it. All of your questions are answered, and much more info can be found in just the past 50 or so pages. If I were you, I'd go back 100 and start reading forward. Not that hard, and very easy to skim past the nonsense (like - where is my nano? it's not here, yet! when will it get here?, how long did your's take? mine's taking a day longer.... etc).

Nano is not solo. Nano is A/C, plenty of heat with no drawdown. Not as much material is usually loaded at the same time. Less material = less vapor. Think you still get more out of your stash with the nano, but not 4 times more. My estimation nano takes about 1/4 of solo load for full small nano load (my solo/nano loads anyway), but usually gives 1/2 as many hits. So you're twice as well off.

Temp settings are not going to be exactly the same for everyone (whether nano or solo). There are too many variables. How sparkly is your stash? How dry? What type of bubbler? How hard do you hit it? What type of cloud/taste are you looking for? Ambient room temp? etc, etc, etc. I'd suggest you start at 5.5 and work your way up 1/2 setting with each hit, giving a stir in between. Also, pay attention to where your screen is if you have adjust-a-bowls. That will also make a difference.

If you're not getting vapor directly on your hits as you like, try preheating the load for a minute or 2 (just leave the nano on without drawing), and draw slow and smooth at first. Don't try to churn up mad bubbles right out of the gate. Think you'll enjoy the flavor more with this method, too.

Get that down, and expand your knowledge with experimenting and reading the thread from there.
