If it's anything like the solo stems, you'll probably be needing metal screens to prevents bits of plant matter getting into your mouth anyway, even with the all glass?

Pros of adjustabowl stem/gong:

  • More adjustability of load size.
  • More adjustability of proximity of load to heater.
  • More airflow.
  • Less surface area for vapor to condense on.
  • Costs less.
  • Almost 0 particles of plant matter make it through to your mouth or WT.
  • Easier to clean/reclaim from.
Cons:

Yea so that about sums it up.

I want to cry - I broke both the all glass stems I ordered. One last night, one just now.
I get numbness in my hands sometimes so I'm serious butter fingers. Maybe I shouldn't have ordered something with loose stems to handle all the time. :(

Going to order 2 more right now. Hopefully @ACE OF VAPE can ship quick. I've got mad laryngitis right now & going back to combustion probably isn't going to help.

Sorry to hear that, being without a vape is never fun. Did you have the thick glass stems or the standard ones?

Maybe @Ed's TnT can make some custom wooden stems for you that wouldn't break. I think they're still in the "prototype" stage but maybe you guys can work something out? Message him here on FC or contact him at his website - http://www.edstnt.com/

One thick & one thin. I'll check out Ed's TNT, I saw those for the Solo I think.

Ok one more question - what are some of the advantages of the e-nano vs my existing Solo + PVHES GonG + PNWT setup?

Some other advantages are better airflow, ability to get hotter, bigger clouds, more stylish, hand warmer.

Just tried breaking off a nice frosty nug of Jack Herer and putting it in a freshly cleaned honeycomb gong with glass bubbler, Nano on 6.75..... it simply just doesn't get any better than this. If it does, please let me know!

Attack of the vapors

I have had my E-Nano since Monday evening. I will not deny that I was extremely pissed off about certain aspects of my transaction. However, there is no point harping on about that now. In fact I promised myself that I would not return to this thread. But I must say that the E-Nano is truly an exceptional product. I just have not been able to put it down. Its my first log so I expected something different but I wasn't sure what exactly. The vaporizer is stylish, beautiful, the size is amazing and the performance is just incredible. After getting mind-blowingly massive clouds with the Infinity and hookah setup I have pretty much cured myself of my cloud obsession. With the E-Nano it is the taste that I just can't get over. I don't really possess the words to describe it to be honest. Honestly I wanted to hate this vaporizer after my ordering experience but I am now trying to figure out how long I have to wait to get another one without my wife cutting my nuts off while I sleep.
1. Good on your for getting over any frustrations you have and enjoying your nano. Most people can't change their minds and the ability to do so is an admirable trait.
2. This is a pretty wonderful endorsement. If someone WANTS to hate something, then loves it, how can you get any better than that?
3. I lurk here and read. Thanks to all the informative posters here who provide their wisdom to quiet types like myself...

As someone with a HI log vape, will I see a huge difference trying an enano? I'm interested in the electronic temp control of the unit, that would sold the problem of draw speed / temp / technique needed to get good clouds

A famous FC menber post about a efficiency/cloudy comparison between the nano and the HI and he told they are really similar....

@attackofthevapors and @herbivore21 Thanks guys :) Ive been testing the enano out all weekend. I am just super impressed with it. Nothing else to say really
I'm glad man, good things come to those who wait! :D

On an aside, I have never been able to get much in the way of vapor from whole buds in the all glass stem. I am thinking I may need to use higher heats than I use with ground buds to get the desired results? I am also not getting anything like the quality of bud you guys overseas are getting at the moment, Australia's east coast has a major shortage of good bud right now! All of it is the dreaded red super hairy stuff that is all too common in Australia. Basically our version of brickweed. After this shortage became apparent, I branched out and managed to find some of the same red hairy strain but that has not had the trichomes crushed/badly handled and has been cured reasonably well. This is the best us Aussies can hope for most of the time IME :/

Is it possible that my green just isn't of high enough quality, or should I be jacking the heat up past 7.5 for whole nugs?

The main things I can think of are:
  • Nano has more "reactive" temperature dial that can get you back and forth from high to low temps faster.
  • It heats up faster in general.
  • It does not "time out" or auto shut.
Does the Solo have the standard trait of battery powered units insofar as it comparatively can't seem to produce heat quickly enough to account for maintaining the heat when you draw air away from the heating element?

This was a gargantuan factor in my shift away from the PNP to the Nano!

Big clouds on 8 whole buds but you should still be getting big vapor at 7.5
It maybe the herb but it dose not mean your weed is no good some weed just dose not produced as much vapor as others

Dose it get you stoned ?
If yes all Is good

Stoned!
I found with dirt weed I had to turn the heat up, I don't have a log yet...Your experience sounds about the same. On my Solo I would go through 3 stems. With some new Romulan I just picked up it is only one stem and vapor that won't quit. Well it quits but much more than with my dirt weed. I am still learning but that was my experience. I had to give up some practices I learned prior. I could not get it to vaporbong with ELB's. in my EQ. I guess it wouldn't get hot enough. If I just turn it up it taste to hot/popcorn.

I just joined the very EPIC epicvape e-nano family and I am so excited — can't wait 'till she arrives. I have a few different vapes but the nano seems to fill my last big gap from reading all your great posts. It makes a buying decision much easier. Thanks FC pals.

I have noticed when typing nano it is easy to type nana but I don't think my nana would appreciate the nano nearly as much as I will, but these days who knows? Nana may love my nano too.
Glad to hear man, do yourself a favour and revape your Lotus AVB, I got some major milage out of the 8g of Lotus AVB I had saved up when I got my Nano :D

something to do with the male dominated work place from the years of oppression women have suffered.

On a lighter note I have a half day today, films are downloaded and waiting for me to return. Nano is on and warming up. Weather is rubbish so no temptation to go out. Now just to teach those pesky students for 3 hours and HORRAY! Get bloody vaped. Been saving a bit of grapefruit bubble hash and today seems like the perfect day.

Also with regards to the stems I personally like the old thin glass pinch stem the most. The all glass have too much restriction and getting bits in your mouth really annoys me. The thick glass are great but they don't feel as good and aesthetically they look a bit big for the nano IMO. But they are still great for people who break a lot of glass (you know who you are).
