Maybe check under the other sticky feet if there are more screws in your unit. Since these are handmade, it may be possible that the unit has more screws. I am only inferring this from the idea that putting together different pieces of wood with other components may require more or less work depending on the physical properties of that piece of wood.
Congratulations on being an exploratory vapist like me. The dimmer circuit board is the only part I have ever heard of people having issues with. This, alongside all the electronics that got damaged from too much voltage in my experience, is inside the temperature control, accessed by two screws on the back of the dimmer.
As I said, there are very little electronics in the unit itself!
That single screw inside the unit appears to hold the wood onto the stainless steel inner assembly. The wood may not budge if you undo it because it has expanded or contracted due to environmental conditions
