The idea of a spinning mouthpiece is appealing; in applying the "proof of concept"however, I find it a little awkward.

Am I a klutz, would someone please clue me in? :ugh:

I prefer mine without the mouthpiece & ordered a long VonG over a VonG S for that reason. Different strokes for different folks is what we have here but I don't find the spinning mouthpiece particularly comfortable to use.

Grasp the mouthpiece and hold it steady as you twirl the Vapcap. You can do this by squeezing the mp between the pads of your palm (imagine bringing your thumb and little finger together to fold your palm. Or you can hold the mp steady against your palm with your little finger or ring finger. Doing this lets you twirl the Vapcap more easily between your thumb and index/middle finger.

Just an FYI.

George had posted that the new tips (machined in-house with the deeper channels) would be standard on all Ti models.

I ordered a couple of individual Ti tips for parts on BF but not a complete Vapcap.

I sent Matt an email to let him know that I would like the new Ti tip in my order in case they were shipping out the original tips as parts and he replied that the new tips are being shipped now.

It looks like they have completely transitioned to the in-house machined tips. I can't wait to try them! The new tips are my Xmas present to me!!!

Oh, and also a new Paduak stash...:)

As far as cleaning goes, I do soak in a small Pyrex container with a sealed top. Leave the same ISO in there for multiple cleanings and the ISO gets quite dark with the plan to evaporate it out to get reclaim at some point. Seems to work.

Yes, I do like pipe cleaners and have a few packages around. A pipe cleaner soaked in ISO will do a nice trick on built up residue.

Now, I clean most of my glass with Powdered Brewer's Wash (PBW). If not familiar with it, here is a whole thread on it and it works BEAUTIFULLY and is completely non-toxic (well, its food equipment safe but I wouldn't go eating it):

P.S. - on PBW, I do find it works very well on all glass (VC OG, bubblers, adapters, bongs, whatever) used mainly for herb. It brilliant. However, I have found that on some glass used with concentrates (wax/shatter), that I still had to use some ISO on really stubborn bits of concentrate built up in my WPs.

And I'll bang the drum again for a Vapcap best of or resources page. This info is great but will get lost in the sauce here...

I agree with having a nice resource, I may be a bit biased though.

On the bright side the new website is much more clear so there is less need now for a "VapCap 101 resource" than there was with the old site. I just feel bad watching the almighty @Squiby repeat herself so often. Much credit is due to her for helping so many people join in on all of the VapCap fun. She is a saint amongst mere mortals.

Has anyone tried heating up the vapcap without using a flame? Anyway to directly just heat up the metal cap?

Discretion is super important to me and I'd love to see some sort of accessory for the vapcap that could use a battery, or an outlet/usb to heat up the vapcap. No noise, no fire, just heat till the vapcap clicks and you are good to go.

You know in many ways I feel that we think alike and you often express sentiments that it is on my mind to do, such as your comments on Squiby's patience and service to the thread.

However, it has occure to me that she actually really enjoys it and revels in the vocation. And would be a bit sad if she wasnt needed anymore, so much.
So whatever happens, we musnt make Squiby feel redundant, and she has to always be able to provide a service not quite like anyone else does currently on this thread.

Also well done for checking those Omnivap load sizes. An easy 0.11, and up to 0.12 is very respectable. You have an OG do you not, Im not sure now, but I wonder if you would struggle to get more than 0.8 into it?

The last day I vaped I ground up slightly too much to fit comfortably in (I have been an excellent judge at grinding the exact amount to just nicely fill the bowl every time).

I had a job getting it all in without compressing it, and it actually did impede the vapor flow by being too packed, so there is certainly a limit. I would have left a bit out, but wasnt sure if I would vape again after that before my 30 day break.

And then I combusted it, by heating past the click. I still havent cleaned my Omnivap yet, as it is out of use for a few more weeks, by which time I will have a new tip.

Anyone else have their order cancelled? Upon checking my spam folder just now I see an email from Dynavap sent on the 4th so I get excited thinking my Omnivap had shipped but the 1st line reads "It appears you’ve cancelled your order with Dynavap."...Huh??? How does that happen after I received an order confirmation email? Lost a day to maintenance mode and now looks like another 3 days minimum to this provided I can get in contact with someone tomorrow. I think I posted elsewhere that my Father used to say, "If it wasn't for bad luck we wouldn't have any at all." lol

I guess it was just me then. Typical lol
If anyone is interested I found another email from Dynavap about a $1 - $5 charged being mistakenly added to my purchase. Apparently my items were placed back in my cart for me to repurchase and I guess when I didn't do so (notification went to spam) they cancelled my order.

So my Vapcaps arrived this morning in a funky green envelope. My first thought was wow, they are smaller than I expected but so elegant. I've only been able to test them with scuff/sugar leaves from the bottom of my jars but it's given me a preview of what they'll be like when I have some proper buds to vape (just before Christmas by my estimate, I should be harvesting in a week hopefully). Even with crappy material I'm impressed, nice smooth vapour and from the abv you can see they vape evenly. Pleased so far and I'm looking forward to giving them a proper go when I have some decent weed to use.

It really depends on what you ordered and what they have in stock. The BF sale was very successful and sold out his stock of most everything so they are now having to catch up on backorders. My TI Woody S I ordered on the 25th is just set to arrive tomorrow. If you ordered the same I would expect it to take a while. I wouldn't expect an order placed on the 4th to be ready to ship unless it is something that he had overstocked on before the sale and didn't run out of.

Thank you all for your kind words. Yes, I do enjoy posting my experiences, as I think everyone does (otherwise we wouldn't be doing it), and helping other folks with their Vapcap questions.

I went through a number of really crappy vaporizers when I first fucked combustion. I used some pretty decent ones as well. But when I tried the Vapcap, I knew it was all over, the Vapcap was the vap for me.

I wish I had found FC earlier in that journey. It would helped me possibly avoid some bad choices. If I can help others navigate through the endless array of vaporizers and maybe find a short cut to the Vapcap, if it's the vap for them , I'll die a happy woman.

My first thought was wow, they are smaller than I expected but so elegant.

Yeah, it shocked me too. The Vapcap really is tiny and beautiful.

Big bulky chunky plastic sheathed vaporizers remind me now of 8 track tapes and the old satellite dishes from the 70s and 80s.

If you created an account on the Website, you can check your status (when the page has been migrated from the old website. It's not up yet and there may be changes, but anyway...). Your order will remain "Processing" untill they have gathered together your order items. When your status changes to "Complete" it means that shipping is imminent. You will receive an email stating that your order is complete and another with your tracking information shortly thereafter.

All this assumes that their process is remaining the same with the new website.

I don't know the timing between funds transfer and order fulfillment.

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
I just received my Blackwood Vong stem, it is sturdy and classy at the same time! Ti glassy becomes ti Vong, no regrets, with an empty f-bomb it is a super smooth and cool combo

At first I had to struggle a little to assemble it with a second generation Ti tip..

I was afraid they weren't compatible as I chopped 3 o-rings trying to install it.
Then I decided to put it near my wood stove for couple of hours and now it fits perfectly (guess cold and moist winter do not pair well with wood that is designed to fit tight)

So my question is
After owning a woody for about seven weeks
How exactly does this vape work I now how to use it and am getting great results
And after taking a real good look at it I want to know more
What are the fins for ???
How does it create sutch good vapour
How did George come up with the design
What did he do before he set up vapcap ????
I've watched all the vidios on YouTube
But iwant to know more.
I want to know everything
I understand about the terbilation and 180 degrese turn and all that
But how did George make something so complicated so simple:mental::mental::mental:

Have you read every post he has posted on this thread?
That alone has made me understand a little bit of what he's about. And I must admit I've read some more then once, it's wonderful really definitely a good read.
