Hi all, Catching up on this fast moving thread.
just loving this thread with all the outbursts off generosity and all around good feel.
I now would like to try a butane vape and see how i like this with my particular situation.
I may go for a basic glassy to start and see how it goes. Looked on puffitup but they are all sold out already.
I could order from George but i noticed they don't take PayPall?
Keep up the good work and i will hopefully be more active here soon.

I am continuing to enjoy completely my OG and Ti Woody. I really like the Ti Woody but it really hasn't replaced my OG in my affections. Just took a place right next to it LOL

Question please: anybody know when George will be shipping the Ti diffuser screens for Ti tip vapcaps?

My OG came with one, but my Ti Woody still has ceramic screen.

So I got my OG yesterday, spent most of the night and way to much bud, playing with it. Maybe I'm the odd one out here, not sure, but I find myself preferring the OG dry and my Ti for water. I still took my woody out and about though because the OG is a bit fragile and I'm not the most careful person in the world. Triple torch does seem a bit much unless you can aim it just right. Also, with my Ti, I almost always have complete extraction in 3 cycles, rarely go for a 4th. With the OG I am going through 5 cycles to get everything out. Could very well have to do with the triple torch as well, gonna pick up a single sometime. Overall really liking the OG though. And some vapcap porn just because EDIT:maybe not can't get my uploads to work right now...

I'm really getting my omni dialed in now. It really was a little bit of a struggle at first but it's such a fun vape to use that I didn't mind spending time learning its nuances.

A couple tips for beginners that are having trouble getting thick enough vapor:

Don't be afraid to heat past the click. I go up to two seconds past the click on the first heating cycle, and up to one second past the click on the second cycle.

Don't be afraid to hit it hard. I was pulling slowly to get thicker vapor because that's how most other vapes work. I just started hitting it pretty hard and I'm getting bigger clouds and better results in general.

Last I read, George was still developing a Ti specific diffuser screen. Getting our greedy little hands on them may be way off yet.

Well, I guess I will just have to soldier on with my original, cracked Ti woody. I REALLY dig this vape, but with the price jump from $149 to $199 for the Omni I am out..... Just can't squeeze that extra cash out even with the beauty of the full ti package. Kudos to you George, you deserve all of the success that you are seeing. Many happy returns.

Thanks, mate. The one in my OG is brilliant. I should think just size it right from there for Ti and go but what heck do I know. LOL

Wow, when the f*ck did that happen?

It still says pre-order but people have them, right? Is it really still pre-order (which to me implies that they are not shipping yet).

Have you also tried closing up the air intake to the point where you drag on it like a cigarette? If you have never smoked, then what I mean is draw directly into your mouth first, and then inhale into the lungs once you have a mouthful of sweet vapour :).

Sorry for the bad lighting, but this is my omnivap with the air intake closed so that almost half of the carb hole is covered by the internal condenser:

I usually hit it a bit more open than the above photo, but if you havnt tried this technique, i definitely recommend it. Probably the smoothest thick hits I get from any vape I own, due to mixing a lungful of fresh air with every draw :) most of my other vapes require me to inhale straight into my lungs, which is unnatural to me, and gets me coughing pretty regularly. Anyone ever tried smoking a cigarette by inhaling it straight into their lungs?? Don't. Trust me.

Fuck combustion

@Vapor_Eyes : I wasn't able to dial in my VC's until I started using it through a bubbler. The main benefit here, besides others, is that you can see how much vapor is coming out of the VC at any given time. There were times when I didn't think I was getting very much when in fact the vapor was pouring out.
Like Herbalist just said, the carb is more useful than you think. Covering it up in the beginning or feathering it through a hit will increase the amount of thick vapor you can get. Again, try these and other tips while watching the vapor enter your bubbler. You can then be a better judge of what works best for you.

So I'm thinking of picking up a vapcap S (comes with the condenser kit and mouthpiece) and also getting a titanium tip. Is the Ti tip worth it? Will I notice a hue difference?

I might like the glass better than the Ti so far... But really like the look of the wood and Ti much more. Want to turn mine into an S someday, but yeah both or pick one, works great either way

@lookhigh last time I ordered I paid using PP contact George and see if he's still okay with it.

@herbalist33 I don't have an Omni but understand the principle of the inner workings.
My 0.5mm carb would be the same as screwing the MP home then backing off just a tiny bit.
As you say effortless thick vapor.

The thing that's struck me just recently is the amount of people who are saying the same thing.
The VC hits are 'smooth'.
Even when I run a one click hot bowl the vapor isn't harsh at all. My lungs can cope with direct draw it's my throat that usually gives up on me but the VC has never caused me any irritation or coughing.

That is rather strange as most use the Ti in most cases if they own both. I tend to use my burly with the short condenser & small rubber tip from the OG rather than the XL condenser & wood MP. I will be interested in using a glass Ti for my home driver when I place another order.

This is selling me more on a tapered blackwood basterd son from the UK. So more restriction than the standard woodie? You should try & do a bulk buy of Ti Tips, caps & O rings so you can maybe sell complete units (if feasible)?

Very smooth I find. I can make myself cough if I draw too deep & long. No surprises it is draw 1 heat cycle 2 where the over enthusiasm has caused the odd cough.

I agree. I would rather use my Ti than the glass ones I've made. I like the glass but prefer the way the Ti performs. Horses for courses and all that.

I think 'Bloody Pom' would have been more appropriate

Once the first International has landed and I can breathe a massive sigh of relief we can sort out something for you.

The restriction is way more than standard uncarbed. You can see the difference on my first glassy stem. The standard VC hole is 2mm. For me it gives the perfect pressure drop behind the screen and vapor/fresh air ratio.

I have thought long and hard about selling complete units and am still considering it.

Quick clip
Hi Slow Draw - what is the size of the female end of adapter... 14 mm or is it 10 mm or??? I guess I should just get out my calipers and go to work, eh LOL

Nice video. Seems like you have it working very well, hope you are happy with it.

Oh, and thanks for the white gloves...few of us (including me) have fingers that look good enough in close up videos! LOL

Cheers

My order finally came through, a few days ago, just haven't had a chance to post. #1735 ordered on April 28, arrived July 23, so almost three months. Totally worth it though, I am in love with my new toy!

I'm finding with my ti I need to heat an extra second or two after the click and usually heat it one or two extra times. I think I might be one of the few that prefers glass too. I'm not sure I notice a difference in taste (which is a good thing), I'm going to do a side by side someday. I think maybe my woody will travel and my s will stay at home. That being said I'm still fighting the urge to grab one of those ebony woody's, they are beautiful. So glad the s version isn't an option anymore or it'd be a done deal.
